I wanted to increase my leads and brand awareness.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Why People Click revamped my website — they elevated it quite a few notches and brought up the wow factor. They redesigned the site, gave me a domain name, and created posts.
Additionally, Why People Click had implemented SEO to increase my Google rankings. I gave them pictures and wrote some copy to use on the website.
What is the team composition?
I worked with Rob (CEO), but I didn’t interact with his team.
How did you come to work with Why People Click?

Before engaging with Why People Click, I charged $50 for the first hour and $25 for each succeeding hour. Since we launched the website, I started charging $75 for the first hour and $60 for each additional hour.
Additionally, my clientele increased because of the website. I started working with churches, adult parties, and more varied clients.

A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the owner of a dental office.
What challenge were you trying to address with Why People Click?
We engaged Why People Click to manage our SEO.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Why People Click is in charge of our SEO strategies, but I’m not really sure what goes on behind the scenes. They’re responsible for our keyword research efforts. They also write blog posts and monitor our ranking on Google. On top of that, the team manages our Facebook account.
What is the team composition?
We’re only working with Rob (CEO & Founder).
How did you come to work with Why People Click?
Rob was a local, and we met him through a mutual provider — our website designer.
How much have you invested with them?
We spend about $1,500 a month.
What is the status of this engagement?
We began working together in February 2017, and we continue to collaborate.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Thanks to their work, we receive a lot of internet referrals, allowing us to increase the number of customers coming in.
How did Why People Click perform from a project management standpoint?
We’re happy with them because they have a great project management process. Additionally, they have good communication skills, and they’re easy to work with. We communicate through email and phone calls. They share helpful ideas, too.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Why People Click is always easy to get a hold of, and they’re very responsive.
Are there any areas they could improve?
No, they don’t have any areas to improve.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Come prepared for the engagement. In our case, we’re pretty hands-off with the project; we just let them do their thing, and we’re satisfied with their outputs. Though we’re not sure what happens behind the scenes — the results of their work have been impressive.

PPC for Hunger Relief Nonprofit Organization
"He provides a high level of human touch to what he does."
the reviewer
the review
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I work for Second Harvest Food Bank of Northwest North Carolina, which is a part of the Feeding America Regional Food Bank Network. We are a major provider of donated food to a network of more than 430 on-the-ground food assistance organizations. We also provide services like capacity grants to those organizations.
The Second Harvest Food Bank of Northwest North Carolina also offers a culinary training program not just as a way to deal with urgent issues of food insecurity, but also as a way of giving people a pathway to sustainable employment and a strong nutrition services program.
What challenge were you trying to address with Why People Click?
We needed a campaign to strengthen our call-to-actions for donating food, donating funds, engaging in our volunteer opportunities, and lending voices to our advocacy efforts. We turned to Why People Click to set up our Google Ads to drive people to our website and convert them into active participants and advocates for our cause.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Rob (CEO) assisted us first with arranging all of the necessary paperwork, seeing as we were a nonprofit operating on a grant. He also spent some time understanding and orienting himself to what our organization does. He then went into developing keyword campaigns on Google Ads to drive people to our website and landing pages and eventually convert them to active participants and advocates. Rob had administrative access to our Google Analytics, and every month, we received a report on how those campaigns were progressing and what the conversion rate looked like.
Why People Click offers a range of services, so we eventually leveraged their expertise to do some seasonal, programmatic digital banner ad campaigns and awareness campaigns. At some point, we had to redo our website, and Why People Click took over that task as well. We didn’t contract them for email marketing either, but they provided valuable advice for that effort.
We also did two Facebook lookalike campaigns with their team but dropped it once we got our own internal social media specialist.
What is the team composition?
I only worked directly with Rob.
How did you come to work with Why People Click?
We first approached a person who was doing the kind of work we were hoping to do with another nonprofit. He was already at capacity, so he referred me to Rob. I’m quite relational, so I went on to do an interview with him. I was quite satisfied with how he presented himself and how our businesses and goals aligned, so I decided to do the work with him.
How much have you invested with them?
We paid $300 a month for Google Ads management.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working together in January 2016, and the Google Ad campaign concluded in December 2020. We continue to have a working relationship today.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Rob was definitely hands-on and constantly monitored the campaign efforts. Though I didn’t do an in-depth analysis of the monthly Google Analytics report, I was satisfied to see that the numbers were at a satisfactory range. We were getting traffic and click-throughs at a rate that was industry-standard. We went into this engagement with the goal of driving more awareness towards our advocacy, and we were able to achieve exactly that.
How did Why People Click perform from a project management standpoint?
We feel that the project is managed well. Rob is very responsive, always reachable, and provides the updates we request. We primarily communicate via email.
What did you find most impressive about them?
A lot of times, other agencies are restricted by the fact that they’re counting minutes under the agency umbrella, but Rob doesn’t behave that way. He provides a high level of human touch to what he does.
Are there any areas they could improve?
They could improve on their reporting in terms of presenting it in a way that repeatedly affirms the value that they provide. For example, they could provide some retrospecting and commit to reporting on trends.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
I would advise future clients to touch base with Rob every month and to have that discussion live. I think he’s the perfect go-to if you’re looking for an agency that puts a personal touch on their work rather than automating everything.

Please describe your company and your position there.
I assist a local law firm with their social media and website maintenance.
For what projects/services did your company hire Why People Click?
We had an outdated website that needed to be re-designed. Our goal is to obtain more online traffic to our website and simply to get noticed on search engines.
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
We looked at a couple of other proposals, but after talking to Rob and learning about his expertise, we knew we would be happy with Why People Click.
Describe the project in detail and walk through the stages of the project.
After discussing our vision for a new website, we received an initial design, which we were very happy with. Why People Click built the design on a platform that we had access to and assisted us with uploading pictures and information on to the website. Why People Click has been there for us through the entire process.
How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
In total, we have worked with two people, including the Digital Strategist and the Web Developer.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
We are expecting to go live with our new website soon and expect to have an increase in traffic that is significant.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
The Digital Strategist and Web Developer have been easy to work with. They provide prompt responses to our emails, texts, and phone calls. We could not be more pleased with their service.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
We are very impressed with their knowledge of digital marketing and web design. They have been extremely patient with us, and they go out of their way to help us with any issue or question that we may have.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
Can't think of any at this time.
Why People Click successfully delivered a website that improved brand awareness and gained additional leads. The client was exposed to a broader audience because of the site, and they started to work with a more varied clientele, allowing them to increase their rate per hour.
