I am the Founder of Burn From Within, a coaching and consulting brand helping corporate executives fed up of their work to find passion, purpose and balance in their lives.

I'm building a podcast and YouTube channel and needed help in editing for the video production of this.

What were your goals for this project?

To have a smart clean intro and outro animation for my YouTube episodes and channel

I found from a recommendation of another client of theirs.

Describe the video(s) and the process in detail.

The video is an episode from my podcast interviews series and we worked with existing footage to create an introduction sequence and closing sequence to be used in all videos.

What was your vendors' project management or feedback process?

They completed the job in very good time and gave constant communication throughout.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

I'm going to launch the YouTube channel in the next couple of weeks now.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

I just work solo so it was really a one-on-one call with their designer and video editor coordinated by their project manager. They work well as a team and were pretty supportive to understand my brief quickly and efficiently. The feedback for improvements was taken on board and we worked well together.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

They are easy to approach, very effective in communication, and get the job done quickly. Most importantly they listen to the brief and provide great iterations after feedback. I can trust them to get work done on time and response to what I need.

Are there any areas for improvement?

Not at all.

Please describe your company and your position there.

I am the CEO of Travlapp which is an online platform that helps scuba divers find and book scuba diving holiday packages. We work with dive centers across Malaysia and Indonesia. We are headquartered in the heart of Kuala Lumpur.

For what projects/services did your company hire WeTripON Advertising?

We wanted to decrease our customer acquisition costs. In order to remain competitive in the market, we were facing an uphill battle between maintaining profitability while shrinking our margins. The biggest expenditure we had was related to our digital marketing efforts and decreasing our cost of customer acquisition was critical to our business. We needed someone who could look at our entire business objective holistically and then provide a solution that suits our business needs.

We came across WeTripon via a referral from one of my friends. Right from the first meeting both Madalina and Cristina asked us a tonne of question to understand our needs. Then they looked into our current digital marketing strategy and quickly identified multiple issues.

What were your goals for this project?

The main goal was to decrease the cost of marketing our services via Google, Facebook, and Instagram. We worked on multiple stages. The first goal was to decrease the overall cost of acquisition and then work out a way to nurture the existing customers towards repeat purchase.

How did you select this vendor?

We checked and in fact used multiple vendors to test their capabilities. While most of them did have some sort of improvements, WeTripon was the only vendor who seemed to understand our needs. We selected WeTripon because they did not simply use a cookie-cutter approach with our business like other vendors.

Madalina and Cristina spent a lot of time analyzing our website, our Instagram feed, Facebook posts, blog posts and then did a very thorough competitor analysis which really opened our eyes to things we never knew before.

Describe the scope of their work in detail.

Right from the first meeting, we got into the specific pain points with our digital marketing strategy. We needed WeTripon to work on creative, media, tracking, reporting, and giving us optimization suggestions for the entire customer funnel.

What was the team composition?

Both Madalina and Cristina were involved right from the beginning and they were very approachable and always had a very clear strategy in place. I am not sure if there were more people involved in WeTripon internal team.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Our CTR for ads overall jumped from <5% to 13% which was a massive improvement for us. In addition to improvements in CTR we save improvements in pretty much all the metrics. Our CPC decreased by 72% and overall conversions almost doubled. These results were better than what we initially hoped for and we continue to improve on those numbers till date.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Madalina is an outstanding manager. She likes to work from a clean slate and we decided not to interfere or push her in a certain direction. She cleaned up our overall Ads strategy over a week and created multiple A/B tests to test the different hypotheses we discussed.

We mainly used Asana to keep track of progress, but Madalina was very responsive via email. She listens to feedbacks very patiently and instead of just suggesting or implementing new strategies she takes her time to explain her actions. Those are the golden nuggets that really helped us to understand the psychology behind the strategies she implemented.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

The most impressive thing was their ability to direct your attention to the right place by questioning strategies you have placed. They both collectively have about 8 - 10 years of experience in digital marketing and over time they have built a very strong intuition of what works and what doesn't which will save you both time and money.

Are there any areas for improvement?

While they are pretty good at PPC strategies as businesses we prefer ways that brings us customers organically. I believe if they spent some time on learning SEO then they pretty much would be able to cover all aspects of many businesses. Nonetheless Travlapp is extremely happy with the service WeTripon has provided so far and we will continue to foster the amazing relationship we have built so far.
