I am the CEO and a co-founder of Wisdom Senior Care.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What challenge were you trying to address with wEquipuSEO?

Our biggest challenge at the time was that my wife, who is the CEO of the company, was burned out. We were looking at ways to reinvent ourselves and get a second wind. We did have a website in place, but it wasn’t very good. It used a Wix template and was too generic.

Our most important goal was to build awareness. Google wasn’t indexing us at all and, considering today’s economy and competition, that was essential.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

wEquipuSEO was instrumental in getting our website operational and established. They also helped with SEO, social media, and email marketing, as well as creating brochures and video content.

We also worked with them on business development, realigning our business and optimizing it for the new site.

What is the team dynamic?

We worked with Christopher [Founding Partner, wEquipuSEO] and Nangbong [Founding Partner and Business Developer]. My wife and I worked on the site content.

How did you come to work with wEquipuSEO?

Christopher and I go to the same church. They were the only company we considered.

How much have you invested with them?

On a monthly basis, we spend between $6,000–$8,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with wEquipuSEO in February 2016. We have an ongoing relationship.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

wEquipuSEO has helped our business tremendously and has taken it to a new level. Our Google rankings have increased. The site is still a work in progress, and we have other aids and material associated with it, like brochures and videos.

Each time we receive a call from a client or potential client, we ask how they heard about us—whether it was through the website, a Google search, LinkedIn, or other social media platforms. We’ve gotten positive responses and feedback from these callers.

We’ve experienced site issues, but those can be related to external factors like human error.

How did wEquipuSEO perform from a project management standpoint?

I would rate them a 9 out of 10 in this respect. We didn’t have trouble getting ahold of them if any issues came up.

What did you find most impressive about them?

The biggest keys are being local and communication.

This was our first time working with a business coach, which can be either a positive or a negative. My wife is the CEO and owner of the company, and we both have ideas. Although she is the only woman within our 4-person team, that issue does play a role. Other than that, it’s been positive.

Are there any areas they could improve?

With technology, we can be anywhere and still be able to communicate well. This is the key factor to focus on.
