Pepsi: How to give life some taste without leaving home?
Backlog in TV series made up, books read, apartment cleaned ... What to do during an epidemic, when you cannot leave the house? There is either learning to crochet or... eating. In the last Pepsi campaign, we encouraged consumers to celebrate meals eaten at home (both those cooked by themselves and those ordered from their favorite restaurants) and turn each of them into an adventure full of taste.

7up: How to chill during quarantine?
When we got the news that we won the tender for creating 7up campaign on 35 EER markets, we felt both chill and motivation to work.
With the arrival of Covid-19 pandemic, we wished to serve 7up fans a moment of relief from disturbing news. Moreover, we decided to add some zest to everyday routine. We embraced the trend of oddly satisfying videos, created a set of home-based #chillenges and bet on a big supply of refreshing content.
That’s how “Join the refreshment” campaign came to life.

Mirinda: How to convince generation Z from almost 30 countries to its taste?
6 seconds, 3 seconds, 1 second… The media recommend using shorter and shorter advertising formats. How to not only convey the message in such a limited time, but also do it in an attractive way grabbing the attention of the very demanding target group - Gen Z from 28 countries of Central and Eastern Europe? These were the challenges we faced creating the latest campaign for our regional client - Mirinda.

Pepsi: Why celebrate Christmas, if not for gifts?
There are plenty of reasons to celebrate Christmas with Pepsi, but in our campaign we needed to be more specific. We used a claim: "Xmas season full of reasons to celebrate with Pepsi" showing a variety of justifications for the celebration. It is worth reaching for a cooled can of refreshing bubbles when we have the best Christmas outfit and we shine more than a Christmas tree. Or when we make a snowman out of nothing (there is usually no snow during Christmas). And when the gift we gave someone was a hit. And also at the weekend, because it is always an excellent opportunity to celebrate.

Plus: How to make 120,000 customers feel special?
The task we got: send a newsletter to Plus and Cyfrowy Polsat customers. Easy-peasy? Only at the first glance, since the number of clients was over 120,000, and each of them was supposed to receive a personalized message with a link to the video prepared especially for them... To make the operation successfully completed by 2078, we optimized and automated the entire process.

Filmteractive: How did the transformation from offline to online go?
Transformation is a phenomenon that the organizers of Filmteractive have been watching since the very beginning of the festival. This year, due to the pandemic restrictions, they had to submit to it themselves, and we helped them in this. Our role as the agency was to support the organizers in the transformation of the event from offline to online.
Was the transformation successful? See for yourself!

Please describe your company and your position there.
I work as a Communications Manager for the Media Klaster Foundation and its flagship project Filmteractive Festival – an interdisciplinary, international event on the border of culture and business.
The aim of the event is to stimulate cooperation between different environments and industries. This is where the creators of innovative projects can present their works. This is where businessman can meet the latest technological solutions combined with artistic projects. And finally, this is where all of participants can exchange professional experiences and make new contacts. It’s all about inspiration, education and networking!
From the very beginning of the Festival we focus on digital transformation of creative industries.
For what projects/services did your company hire Welcome Digital?
We have hired Welcome Digital to help us conduct the transformation of the Festival from offline to online. We needed help both with online platform and with communication to our target group.
What were your goals for this project?
Our goal was to transform the event into a digital formula where the audience can easily navigate themselves and choose the optimal form of consumption.
We needed to ensure the highest efficiency in order to avoid the technical problems that so often occur at digital events, especially during live streams – thanks to Welcome Digital we succeeded
How did you select Welcome Digital?
It was a continuation of earlier cooperation. A year earlier we selected Welcome Digital based on competitive review.
Describe the scope of their work in detail.
We have completely changed our digital ecosystem.
Majority of operations where held on Facebook platform. We used not only the fanpage and ads, but the whole event moved to Facebook. The content was streamed during 5 days. The old website was completely rebuild. It presented the detailed agenda and speakers.
After the event it allowed viewers to watch all video materials. We also uploaded all the content to YouTube. So the biggest challange was to navigate among all the destination points. Last but not least, also email and content marketing were used.
What was the team composition?
Managing partner, 1 project manager, 1 creative team, 1 graphics designer.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
First of all we managed to deliver the project on time and without any mistakes. Considering that it was the first 100% online edition is a huge success for us.
Second – the viewership results exceed our expectations! People where keen to watch live streaming on Facebook and VOD content on YouTube.
Last but not least – we are very happy with agency performance. We do appreciate their dedication and many ideas generated on top of regular scope.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
Project manager who coordinated the whole project, did a great job. We had at the early stage weekly statuses. Shortly before and during the event, we had ongoing, real time collaboration.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
Out of the box thinking. They were able to come up with extra ideas enhancing experience of our target group. The communication strategy and creative execution was also great.
Are there any areas for improvement?
Running an event is not like any other project. Timing is crucial. Some things have to be done on the fly. Therefore it’s challenging for many agencies to adjust their proces to our needs. Welcome Digital made it, but this area could be improved a little bit.
Thanks to Welcome Digital, the online event was a success—it ran on time, without any mistakes, and its viewership exceeded expectations. Project coordination was good, resulting in a smooth workflow. Overall, the team excelled in communication strategy and creative execution.
