I’m the owner of an oil and gas company.

We needed help with software development and ERP consulting.

They offer ERP consulting.Their team has also helped design our website and create software for vendor invoicing. They built the system so I can go into my website, find my vendors, see their payments and anything outstanding. They worked to make the site user-friendly and easy to navigate.

There are six people on the team, with one point of contact.

How did you come to work with Weevil Company?

They were recommended by a friend who said they did a fantastic and cost-effective project for him. I felt I could benefit from using them because they’re a very technical and innovative company that would be perfect in making our company transition to the digital platform. With the way everything is now, it’s good to be on the cloud, so I thought they’d be helpful with that.

Our overall investment comes to about $8,800.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in August 2020 and the work is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

It allows me to go into my website, find my vendors, know the amount that they paid and the amount that’s outstanding. The team also created a website that was very user friendly and easy to navigate through.

They did exactly what they were supposed to do, creating solutions that made my business more efficient in terms of invoices and payments and their work is satisfactory. They created the vendor invoice management system that helps my business function internally and gives me more awareness. 

How did Weevil Company perform from a project management standpoint?

Project management is good. They sent me a list from the beginning of the project that enabled me to know exactly what projects were beginning and what was ending.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They pay attention to detail, giving the customer exactly what they want, and servicing each client depending on their personality or company culture.

Are there any areas they could improve?

They could communicate a bit more with their clients.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

You should work with them because they will definitely deliver whatever you’re requesting. They’re the right company as long as you’re open and transparent with them.

I’m a marketing professional for a financial institution.

What challenge were you trying to address with Weevil Company?

We were looking for marketing assistance. We needed to improve sales and also designate our target audiences.

What was the scope of their involvement?

They helped us to uncover many insights from our data leak. We have a lot of unstructured data. They dissected and scrutinized the data and categorized it according to age groups, current students, people looking for mortgages, and people looking for loans. 

We were able to structure our marketing angles and topics to be more specific for different audiences.

We worked with four data scientists.

How did you come to work with Weevil Company?

They were referred to us by some partners that worked with them before.

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked together from June–August 2020.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

They’ve had a great impact on our business. Previously, our marketing wasn’t targeting specific people. After we engaged Weevil Company, we now know what kind of ads to send out on a weekly basis, a monthly basis, and what to send in our email newsletters. Our sales have gone up. They did well.

How did Weevil Company perform from a project management standpoint?

Project management was professional. We kept track of most of the B2B activities through our in-house monitoring and evaluation committee. That committee saw all the steps and processes of the engagement. They told me it was very professional.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They’re very good with data analytics. Also, their product development applications are nice and agile.

Are there any areas they could improve?

The only problem we had with them was timing. Sometimes they have too many engagements and they didn’t always get to the meetings on time, but they didn’t leave us hanging. They would be about 10–20 minutes late. 

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Be open to talking about your problems so that you can harmonize and work with them. Trust the timelines and deliverables you lay out. They always keep their word. It’s a very agile and well-structured tech company.

I’m the solutions specialist at a cloud solutions organization. I specialize in the government and education sectors.

What challenge were you trying to address with Weevil Company?

The key challenge was before COVID-19. We needed help with digital transformation for schools and mostly K-12 schools in Lagos. There were a lot of gaps between government schools and privately-owned schools. Our mission was to bridge this gap in terms of setting up trainings and processes that will bridge the gap and make them ready for live school.

What was the scope of their involvement?

We were going to engage governments in this solution. We entered into a co-partnership with Weevil Company. We came in from a training standpoint and we had some of the relationships with the state government. We leveraged both relationships and their expertise around the hardware to deliver these solutions. Most of the training we did was based on Microsoft solutions.

There were 5–8 people.

How did you come to work with Weevil Company?

We found out about them through Microsoft.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in April 2019, and we wrapped up in September 2020.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Our overall overview of the impact has been enormous. They’ve been a very resourceful organization in this project. On a scale of 1–10, I’d give them an 8 or 9. The end results were great.

There were several departments in the state that we had to showcase what we were giving to the state. It was a “wow” to them from the state governor to the deputy governor to the commissioner of education. They were all amazed at the level of engagement we had with them. The customers were satisfied with the engagement so far. 

How did Weevil Company perform from a project management standpoint?

We had parts organized on our side and parts managed by them. The parts being managed by them, they had their own process that they put in place. There were glitches here and there on both ends but aside from that, they did fairly well.

What did you find most impressive about them?

For every business relationship, there’s going to be some downsides, pros, and cons. In parts where they had shortcomings, they actually tried to make up for that. When I realized how far they were coming from to travel to our office, I realized we need to give them ample time to meet up with us. They managed everything well.

Are there any areas they could improve?

There’s no downside to working with them. If I was going to point out anything, it’d be business processes. They have some business processes in place but they could do it a bit better in terms of how well they implement most of it.

My advice is to be straightforward.
