The owner and founder of a new ecommerce brand selling female beauty and lifestyle products.

For what projects/services did your company hire WEDOHYPE, and what were your goals?

I hired this agency to build an online store for my new beauty brand. My goal was to build a modern, sleek and user friendly website with multi currency and multi lingual functionality. They were able to provide me a great solution for all my requests.

How did you select WEDOHYPE and what were the deciding factors?

With so many options in the market these days, it was really difficult to find a website development agency that I could trust with my new business, who truly understood my needs and was within my budget.

It wasn't until I found We Do Hype that I felt at ease as they didn't just provide a service of building my online store, they did far more than that...they taught me so much about the reasons behind every action and element that went into building the website and why they mattered.

The result was a fully functional and optimised website that was exactly as I had envisioned at a price point that I was able to afford. It has been almost a year and the ongoing support has been phenomenal.

Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.

I was looking to build a website that could match my competitors in terms of design and functionality. Since their team had a deep knowledge of digital marketing, it played a huge role as the experience enabled them to create a website for me that was optimised to sell my products online.

The onboarding process was very straight forward and super flexible. They were able to meet every deadline, sometimes earlier. And their team was available every single step of the way with very quick response times, which gave me security. All meetings were done over message chat and Zoom.

Breakdown of the steps taken to deliver: Onboarding - collecting as much information as possible and solidifying ideas to implement, Site design - I received mockups of the website's design and only once I signed off on the design, did they being building, and Building the site - Their team managed this so efficiently.

You could that they had systems in place to sure smooth sailing Note: The website was initially built on Wordpress and per my request 6 months later, I went back to them to switch to Shopify, which they did seamlessly.

How many people from the WEDOHYPE team worked with you, and what were their positions?

Only 2 people - the head developer and strategist, both team members are also the founders of WedoHype and is a big reason why I chose them as i'd be working closely with a small team that I knew would put in 100% as they understand what's it's like to build and run an independant business.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

Because of their online marketing knowledge, they designed and built my website in a way that prioritised for conversions, sales started rolling in pretty much as soon as we launched. Using heat maps, I could see that the site's navigation was built in a way to convert visitors. Every aspect of the website was built to optimise longer visit times and eventually bring in a sale.

Furthermore, the multi lingual and multi currency solution they provided is the reason why my sales have skyrocketed. And lets just say the solution was not simply adding a dropdown menu of currencies and languages to switch to and from ;)

Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.

Tools: Slack and Zoom calls Communication style: Response time from a few hours - max. 24 hour turn around time Timeliness: Very responsive. Weekends are off however in emergency situations, they were available 24/7.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Their deep knowledge of online marketing and value for money was impressive. Excellent and fair pricing as I believe most digital agencies are priced to exploit business owners and for the exact same level of skills and deliverables, you can hire WeDoHype at a price that is actually within reason.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

I'm a fan of providing constructive feedback for every business, especially ones in the service industry but to be honest, I cannot fault these guys. We were even in different timezones, and I have to say that co-ordinating time to meet was a breeze. For anyone looking to hire them, just remember that they are a boutique agency so don't expect them to be at your every beckoning call.

It's clear that their resources have not be wasted on hiring more employees to hand-hold their clients like myself, but to be put into ensuring deliverables are met and to pass those savings onto the client. For anyone looking to build an ecommerce website, look no further.
