I’m a commercial manager at a travel and leisure company.
What challenges were you trying to address with WebtrixPro?
Most of our sales came from our website, but we didn’t have a clear idea where they were coming from. We needed help accessing our clients’ information to keep track of their interaction with our website. We were also looking for someone to support our digital marketing efforts.

We had initial meetings to define the project’s goals and details together, and we decided to create a mobile app for our clients. From there, WebtrixPro developed an Android and iOS app. The tool allows us to provide our clients with their itineraries, schedules, and all the information they need before their trip.

I’m the CEO of Envonics, an agricultural technology startup. We provide hardware and software solutions for indoor farming.
What challenge were you trying to address with WebtrixPro?
We needed help in developing our cloud-based portal.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Webtrix built a web portal that gave our customers access to their historical and live data. The portal also allowed them to manage and organize their operations and equipment. We worked closely with Webtrix in developing an easy-to-use and user-friendly portal that displayed all those data.
First, we brainstormed the portal’s flow — we identified where the user starts and ends their interaction with the site. They developed a summary page and a page where users could go into detail about their farm equipment and other data. They also built displays and graphs.
Webtrix developed a MySQL database on AWS, and they also used HTML and Java for the project.
We’ve already launched the portal, but Webtrix is providing us with continued support. It has been helpful for us because we’re a startup, and many things change for us very quickly. We can reach out to their team whenever we have an issue or an update to the site.

The platform received positive feedback from our clients. It allowed them to view data in real-time and from the past hour up to a couple of months. That allowed them to see analytical trends happening within their operations.

I’m the founder of a group exercise app.
What challenge were you trying to address with WebtrixPro?
I had an idea in my mind, and I needed help in developing my app and website.
What was the scope of their involvement?
First, I gave Webtrix a rough draft of my requirements for the app and the core functionalities that I wanted to see.
Webtrix then gave me a proposal, and they worked on the app’s wireframes. Throughout the process, the wireframes had a lot of iterations, and they implemented my requests for changes.
After that, Webtrix proceeded to develop the app. The process again has been iterative — I look at what they’ve done, give my comments, and they’ll implement changes.
My app is a scheduling and motivational tool for group exercises. It has a chat functionality, and users can also send calendar invites to people for group exercise events. The app is available only for iOS at this point.
Additionally, Webtrix is providing me with email management and website hosting.
What is the team composition?
I work with Assaf (CEO) and Eugene (Project Manager). I’ve never dealt with any of the developers directly — Eugene liaises with them on my behalf.

My husband had worked with Assaf before, and he recommended them to me. I checked out another agency, but they were much more expensive. The recommendation and pricing were the main things that made me decide to hire Webtrix.

We started working together in May 2019, and it’s ongoing.

I’ve had a checklist of the changes I needed to see on every iteration that we’ve gone through. When Webtrix comes back with a revision, I return to that list and make sure they’ve implemented everything. They are doing great with our process. They’ve always fulfilled all my requests.
How did WebtrixPro perform from a project management standpoint?
They are good at project management. We are using Basecamp to collaborate — that made it easy for me to go back to parts of the app that I haven’t seen for a long time and know their history.
My app has about 70 screens, and there are times when many of them will be dormant and untouched. It has been helpful to have a system where we can track everything we talked about.
Aside from Basecamp, we also speak through phone calls and Google Meet.

Webtrix is very responsive, and their communication has been great.

I can’t think of anything.

Building an app is a big time commitment, so you have to be ready. It’s a two-way street — they’ll do the development and coding, but you have to be ready to review their work as the owner and decision-maker.

What challenge were you trying to address with WebtrixPro?
I was looking for a company to help build my mobile app.
What was the scope of their involvement?
WebtrixPro held my hand throughout the whole process of building an app from the original scope, to its completion. To create the app, they had to capture my mindset and tap my thoughts on how the app should look, react, and function. They were able to successfully translate my vision into a working app for smartphones, and helped me with the technical aspects along the way.
This particular app enables the community to have complete control of the conversations between board members and the users. However, I needed to build security features for the app in order to make it viable for the people who run the communities. Apart from that, they implemented a feature that enables me to access community websites and documents online, and a place for businesses to advertise their products and services.
They also built a touch-to-dial system that people can use to place calls, and a calendar that shows all community events and happenings.
Right now, we’re still working together to tweak, fix, and assist me with any issue that comes up.

I’ve shown this app to the public and in trade shows, and I’ve only gotten positive feedback so far. They said that they like the app because it’s simple and easy to use.

We follow a schedule, but it could get hazy because it’s a matter of how fast the developers can deliver their tasks. However, whenever I send an email, the response is always quick and they’re always available when I need them.
We primarily use Basecamp to manage the project.

This is my first time building an app, so I can’t think of what they could improve on. All the developers are responsive and they do a good job.
