WebtrixPro was responsible for rebuilding our entire web application from the ground up. The scope included design, development, and system architecture for a modern, AI-powered platform that supports our global network of luxury fishing, hunting, and sporting lodges. The key deliverables are:Complete redesign and development of the web application with a new, responsive UI/UX.Custom CMS and booking management system built specifically for our multi-lodge operations.AI integration for automating workflows, data processing, and client engagement.Centralized database architecture connecting all lodges under one platform.Secure hosting setup, API integrations, and performance optimization.Ongoing technical support, testing, and post-launch maintenance.

Most of our sales came from our website, but we didn’t have a clear idea where they were coming from. We needed help accessing our clients’ information to keep track of their interaction with our website. We were also looking for someone to support our digital marketing efforts.

What was the scope of their involvement?

We had initial meetings to define the project’s goals and details together, and we decided to create a mobile app for our clients. From there, WebtrixPro developed an Android and iOS app. The tool allows us to provide our clients with their itineraries, schedules, and all the information they need before their trip. 

Additionally, WebtrixPro developed our website and implemented SEO improvements on our platform. They also built our email marketing campaigns, creating a CRM-like system for our team. We’re currently working on new functionalities for the app that will allow our clients to share pictures, among other things.

Although they successfully deliver their work, their development process is sometimes lengthy. Having a shorter turnaround time can improve our relationship.

I’m the CEO of Envonics, an agricultural technology startup. We provide hardware and software solutions for indoor farming.

What challenge were you trying to address with WebtrixPro?

We needed help in developing our cloud-based portal.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Webtrix built a web portal that gave our customers access to their historical and live data. The portal also allowed them to manage and organize their operations and equipment. We worked closely with Webtrix in developing an easy-to-use and user-friendly portal that displayed all those data.

First, we brainstormed the portal’s flow — we identified where the user starts and ends their interaction with the site. They developed a summary page and a page where users could go into detail about their farm equipment and other data. They also built displays and graphs. 

Webtrix developed a MySQL database on AWS, and they also used HTML and Java for the project.

We’ve already launched the portal, but Webtrix is providing us with continued support. It has been helpful for us because we’re a startup, and many things change for us very quickly. We can reach out to their team whenever we have an issue or an update to the site.

Webtrix was a local company here in Miami, and I had been familiar with some of the companies they had worked with. They felt like the right agency for me.

Our engagement lasted from April–October 2020.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

We were logging about 20,000 data points per system daily, and sometimes that could even reach 100,000 data points. Webtrix built a robust system that could handle our load.

The platform received positive feedback from our clients. It allowed them to view data in real-time and from the past hour up to a couple of months. That allowed them to see analytical trends happening within their operations.

How did WebtrixPro perform from a project management standpoint?

It was great to work with Webtrix — they made communication very simple. Their process had been straightforward, from ideation to execution. It was easy for us to understand what was happening. They were an excellent team, and they always found a way to get things done.

Webtrix was outstanding at project management. They always had time whenever we requested meetings. We found it helpful that we had a single account manager since it streamlined communication. We used Basecamp to collaborate.

Webtrix was dedicated to getting the job done. We faced some challenges trying new things on the data side. It was amazing to see them take on the challenge — they first understood what we wanted in as much detail as possible, and they executed.

Be clear on what your vision is for the project, and have open communication. Try to be as clear as possible, and stay in contact with them.

I’m the founder of a group exercise app.

What challenge were you trying to address with WebtrixPro?

I had an idea in my mind, and I needed help in developing my app and website.   

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

First, I gave Webtrix a rough draft of my requirements for the app and the core functionalities that I wanted to see. 

Webtrix then gave me a proposal, and they worked on the app’s wireframes. Throughout the process, the wireframes had a lot of iterations, and they implemented my requests for changes. 

After that, Webtrix proceeded to develop the app. The process again has been iterative — I look at what they’ve done, give my comments, and they’ll implement changes.

My app is a scheduling and motivational tool for group exercises. It has a chat functionality, and users can also send calendar invites to people for group exercise events. The app is available only for iOS at this point. 

Additionally, Webtrix is providing me with email management and website hosting. 

What is the team composition?

I work with Assaf (CEO) and Eugene (Project Manager). I’ve never dealt with any of the developers directly — Eugene liaises with them on my behalf.

How did you come to work with WebtrixPro?

My husband had worked with Assaf before, and he recommended them to me. I checked out another agency, but they were much more expensive. The recommendation and pricing were the main things that made me decide to hire Webtrix.

We started working together in May 2019, and it’s ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

I’ve had a checklist of the changes I needed to see on every iteration that we’ve gone through. When Webtrix comes back with a revision, I return to that list and make sure they’ve implemented everything. They are doing great with our process. They’ve always fulfilled all my requests.

How did WebtrixPro perform from a project management standpoint?

They are good at project management. We are using Basecamp to collaborate — that made it easy for me to go back to parts of the app that I haven’t seen for a long time and know their history. 

My app has about 70 screens, and there are times when many of them will be dormant and untouched. It has been helpful to have a system where we can track everything we talked about.

Aside from Basecamp, we also speak through phone calls and Google Meet.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Webtrix is very responsive, and their communication has been great.

I can’t think of anything.

Building an app is a big time commitment, so you have to be ready. It’s a two-way street — they’ll do the development and coding, but you have to be ready to review their work as the owner and decision-maker.

What challenge were you trying to address with WebtrixPro?

I was looking for a company to help build my mobile app.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

WebtrixPro held my hand throughout the whole process of building an app from the original scope, to its completion. To create the app, they had to capture my mindset and tap my thoughts on how the app should look, react, and function. They were able to successfully translate my vision into a working app for smartphones, and helped me with the technical aspects along the way.

This particular app enables the community to have complete control of the conversations between board members and the users. However, I needed to build security features for the app in order to make it viable for the people who run the communities. Apart from that, they implemented a feature that enables me to access community websites and documents online, and a place for businesses to advertise their products and services.

They also built a touch-to-dial system that people can use to place calls, and a calendar that shows all community events and happenings.

Right now, we’re still working together to tweak, fix, and assist me with any issue that comes up.

I work directly with Eugene (Senior Project Manager).

How did you come to work with WebtrixPro?

I happened to know Eugene so naturally, I called him up. I chose WebTrixPro over cheaper alternatives because even though their services cost more, we know we’ll get our money’s worth.

The ongoing partnership started in October 2019.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The pandemic struck as soon as I started selling the app so I couldn’t get into the communities. However, we’re starting back up again and I now have one community I’m bringing online, and other communities are starting to show interest.

I’ve shown this app to the public and in trade shows, and I’ve only gotten positive feedback so far. They said that they like the app because it’s simple and easy to use.

How did WebtrixPro perform from a project management standpoint?

We follow a schedule, but it could get hazy because it’s a matter of how fast the developers can deliver their tasks. However, whenever I send an email, the response is always quick and they’re always available when I need them.

We primarily use Basecamp to manage the project.

What did you find most impressive about them?

What separates them from other companies is they actually provide an excellent service. When we’re dealing with them, we really feel that they want us to succeed.

Are there any areas they could improve?

This is my first time building an app, so I can’t think of what they could improve on. All the developers are responsive and they do a good job.

I suggest getting out of their way from time to time, because their experience and professionalism could really help you out.
