What challenge were you trying to address with Webstrategy?

We were trying to reach new clients in the U.S. and Canada. We wanted to develop a new website and digital presence in line with that aim.

What was the scope of their involvement?

They developed and designed our website. They're also working on our mailing list and all of our digital platforms.

What is the team composition?

I'm directly in touch with the project manager but I'm not aware of how big his team is.

How did you come to work with Webstrategy?

We received different proposals from several companies, and theirs was the one I liked the most.

How much have you invested in them?

Around $15,000 in total.

We started working with them around two years ago in 2016.

Please describe your company and your position there.

I'm the director of Mejortrabajo.com. We're a human resources website where companies publish job postings and candidates can apply to positions. It also includes a section featuring articles that are of interest to our users.

For what projects/services did your company hire Webstrategy?

We contracted Webstrategy to develop and implement our website. After it was complete, we continued working with them on SEO to formulate various online strategies.

What were your goals for this project?

Our objective as we started the project was to build a user-friendly base product with a great design. It needed to be scalable over time as demand for our services grows.

How did you select this vendor?

When we initiated the project, we contacted three suppliers. We found Webstrategy by searching online. They offered us the best proposal regarding price and scalability. This is the second project we’ve done together.

Can you go into detail about the services they provided and the scope of the project?

Webstrategy started with an existing product and adapted it to our needs. Based on our company’s business strategy and ideas, they execute technical development and marketing campaigns. They incorporate new functions and improvements as needed. Right now, they’re implementing Google AdSense to transform our site into a profitable product. 

What was the team composition?

We interact with Gustavo (Owner, Webstrategy), who is our project lead. He delegates tasks to the specialists he works with who live in Argentina and abroad. He enters all our requirements and manages the subject internally. Being well-versed in both the technical and commercial aspects helps him understand and transmit our requests.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

Webstrategy has fulfilled our goals perfectly. Our website is fully live, and we're happy with the results of the launch. They’ve supported our growth and development since assembling the first iteration of our site. The team’s SEO strategy is already producing a high volume of web traffic.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

In the beginning, lacking a practical project management tool caused delays in the development. Our company struggled to handle several issues simultaneously. Webstrategy proposed using Trello, which quickly solved our problems and accelerated the pace of the build and assembly.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Webstrategy broke down the project into stages. They developed updates and strategies without incurring any cost overruns. Working together helped us learn many new things about our business. Using an organized schedule made it easy and less expensive to make changes. Every month we add further improvements that yield continuously better results.

Are there any areas where they can improve?

I’d like some insight on what could happen during the next 2-3 stages. This might not be their responsibility, but our company is new to developing high-growth businesses online. We lacked someone to guide us through possible problems that relate to rapid growth.
