What was initially estimated to take one month ended up stretching over six months, with minimal visible progress from week to week — requiring constant follow-ups on our end. Although we believed Webskitters to be a UK-based company, we later discovered that much of the work was outsourced overseas. This led to significant miscommunication and a lack of cohesion between teams.

Pedro was consistently responsive and courteous, and we truly appreciated his efforts to manage the situation. However, despite his professionalism, only about half of the agreed-upon work was completed.
Are there any areas for improvement or something Webskitters could have done differently?
Ultimately, we had to abandon the project with Webskitters and hand it over to a single developer, who was able to finish it independently within a couple of months. Even now devs are having to clean up the messy code and awful backend of the site that was built my Webskitters.

Moreover, we saw a significant increase in our sales. We were earning $20,000 monthly before hiring Webskitters, and after the project was completed, we were able to make nothing less than $200,000.

We communicated through Zoom, Gmail, and WhatsApp. They were very responsive and proactive throughout the project. In fact, they delivered the project before the deadline.

The process began with a pre-engineering workshop which was to be done. We sent Webskitters a draft version of our user stories, and their IT analyst completed the project paperwork using the information. Using this, the Webskitters project manager and I (the Senior Product Owner) created a backlog of tasks in JIRA so that our internal team and the Webskitters team could facilitate agile development sprints. In addition, they furnished us with a UX/UI consultant, an iOS TechLead, and a DevOps engineer to assist the team during the development stage.
