I'm the CEO of a SaaS company that provides e-commerce services for sellers. Basically, we’re a marketplace that helps sellers find suppliers to work with.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Our e-commerce platform was custom-made, and they developed everything from scratch. They handled all of the backend development efforts, UI design, AWS machines, and the setup of our servers. Key technologies used were Laravel, vGIS, Elasticsearch, and MySQL.

What is the team composition?

I worked with about five people, including a project manager, a back- and frontend developer, and a designer. Their project manager was our main point of contact.

The platform they delivered helped us grow our business and gain more clients. Overall, I was satisfied with their services.

How did Webrika perform from a project management standpoint?

Despite missing some deadlines, they handled the entire project pretty well. We communicated frequently with the project manager and used GitHub to manage tasks and milestones.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They're really organized and honest.

Are there any areas they could improve?

Sometimes things weren't delivered on time, and their design process could have been a bit better.

Any advice for potential customers?

Work with their project manager from the beginning — once you do that, everything will be smooth.

I’m the director of e-commerce at Amsalem Global Travel Management, a global travel agency that combines technical and corporate positions. We have about 30 people on our development team, and we collaborate with other partners, like travel agencies, on the offline side of our business. We mostly serve the corporate market, but we also focus a little bit on leisure. In my position, I’m in charge of the innovation and technology side.

What challenge were you trying to address with Webrika?

Most of our developers are backend developers and software engineers; we just have one frontend developer. We needed help with frontend development, so we engaged with Webrika.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Webrika has helped us move our website’s frontend framework to React.js. Initially, I sent them our documentation and our API to test, after which they provided me with a quote. Then, I opened a Jira board for them, where I placed the user stories, requirements, and tasks for this project. After they checked and agreed on the requirements, they started with the development process, and they’ve been helping us since.

What is the team composition?

We work with two frontend developers and one full stack developer who has been involved part-time in the project, focusing on the backend API integration. We’ve also worked with their CEO and a project manager.

How did you come to work with Webrika?

I collected several quotes from various companies, including Webrika. Although they weren’t the most economical option, their approach was very similar to ours, and their CEO understood what we wanted very well. We also liked the technologies they used.

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve spent $8,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in March 2022, and our engagement is ongoing. We’re going to finish the project around the start of July 2022, so we’re on track to meet the deadline.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

We haven’t finished the project yet, so we don’t have any results. However, our QA team will review their code, and if they don’t approve it, Webrika will need to change it to meet our expectations. Thus, we have the quality practically guaranteed.

How did Webrika perform from a project management standpoint?

Webrika is very communicative. We talk over Slack every day and have weekly Google Meet meetings. Additionally, we use Jira and Bitbucket to manage the project.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Webrika understands our needs well. Their CEO is smart and always wants to do things better, which is hard to find.

Are there any areas they could improve?

It would be good if Webrika requested more specifications so that they could understand the task 100% before starting the development process.

Define the tasks and request Webrika to check them before starting the project to make it good for both sides.

We wanted to migrate our eCommerce store from Woocommerce to Shopify but to customize the design to more than Shopify's standard themes. The goal was to create a website that would be fast, optimized and sleek.

I selected this vendor based on previous work I have done with them before starting my own brand. The deciding factors were the easy and quick communication, their attention to details and pricing.

We had a kick-off meeting, where I explained my needs and showed some references to what we would like to create. They took the time to build a really thoughtful proposal and from there we agreed on costs and timeline and the project came out exactly as envisioned.

After lauching the website, we saw an increase of 200% in conversion rate + higher AOV.

We used a few different platforms of communication and they even adapted to my request, to work via Whatsapp, which is really comfortable for me. Their project management style was friendly and professional.

The help and availability was beyond what I am familiar with. I felt like they were truly part of our teams and not a 3rd party agency.
