What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
The website was finally optimized for mobile and the Google Analytics were installed, meaning I could track all online traffic and associate it with an online sale. I could tell my cost-per-acquisition and didn’t have to spend money in the dark.
From a design perspective, they understood exactly what was needed. This is what made it very easy to work with them. They were quick to implement feedback and also showed us best practices, acting as a consultant and suggesting things. Usually, vendors only focus on exactly what you want and won’t try to challenge you. Webpuppies Digital is the expert in design, and they challenged us to make sure we got the proper results.
How did Webpuppies Digital perform from a project management standpoint?
In the beginning, they sent me emails but then we moved into WhatsApp communication because of the short timeline. They were very responsive. One of their project managers sat up with me until 1 or 2 am until the project was complete. When we launched the paid promotion, it happened at midnight and Webpuppies stayed up to make sure everything worked. They were always there and never counted the hours. It definitely made me feel less alone knowing they were there. Webpuppies Digital was extremely patient and proactive during the entire project. They were literally part of our own team.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Their passion for their project stood out. They took ownership of the project as well. They made sure everything went well and that we met our timeline. Since we’re in Singapore, information can come to us very late but they were very understanding of our timing. If the design wasn’t okay or something, they always tried to fix things.
I’ve worked with a lot of web developers before and this is the first time I didn’t stress too much about the project. They always sent me access to the Figma design file; they didn’t just send me a PDF or JPEG. This allows me to see them construct the design in real-time, following the discussion in WhatsApp and seeing the changes being made. We also had a dashboard on Google Sheets that they updated on a daily basis. It has all the necessary information in it which brings me peace of mind.
Are there any areas they could improve?
No, not at this time. They were great, and I’m going to engage them for the next phase of this project as well.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Make sure you give a proper brief to avoid unnecessary work. They work very hard, so it’s best to not waste time. At the beginning of my project, a lot of things were uncertain.
