I'm the Director for Business Development at VETTX, which is an Automotive Industry Software company that helps dealers across the country purchase more vehicles on the private market. My role includes overseeing the marketing and sales department to push the company growth in the right direction.
For what projects/services did your company hire WEBITMD, and what were your goals?
We hired WEBITMD to help us with our overall marketing and sales efforts. They manage our Digital Advertising, as well as, help us manage all of our HubSpot CRM initiatives. They also are tasked with helping us plan our quarterly strategies and develop unique assets and content for our brand.
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
When we met with Mattan the first couple of times, we had a sense that he really paid attention and wanted to know more about what we really did and find a solution to our problem. Instead of trying to sell us a cookie cutter marketing strategy, they tailored a strategy that worked for us and gave us the confidence that they were the right team for the job.
Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and marking tools used.
First, the WEBITMD team took a deep dive into our world and learned as much as they possibly could about our industry and what makes us unique. Because of our niche market, we had to get creative with how to push the business forward. Mattan and his team came up with unique solutions using tools that we already had in place to really push us to the next level, and continue to elevate our business to this day. Because of the dedicated time they spent learning our business, we feel as though they are apart of the VETTX team and not even a separate entity at all.

We work with a whole team of specialists, including: Account Manager, Content Specialist, Digital Marketing Director and an SEO specialist.
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
Because of the efforts of WEBITMD we have managed to 10x our incoming leads and traffic from where we were before hiring them. This has allowed us to close more deals and push the business overall in a direction that allows us to grow and expand in a healthy and sustainable manner.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
The communication with their team is seamless and overall just amazing. Everyone on their team is personable and very professional. They are always on time to meetings and have accommodated us when we have needed special attention for internal initiatives.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
Their attention to detail and willingness to learn a business that they initially didn't know a whole lot about. They took the time to pick our brains and learn every detail that they could about our business, and as a result, they have been able to push out unique and dynamic content that doesn't give you the typical "agency" cookie-cutter feel.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
In the beginning we did feel like the discovery process felt a little longer than we thought it would be; however, with that said my biggest compliment to them is their attention to detail and the quality of their deliverables overall. I’m the CEO Tenth Street Hats. We’re an online direct-to-consumer brand that’s part of a larger parent hat company.
What challenge were you trying to address with WEBITMD?
We hired them to manage our Google AdWords campaigns.
What was the scope of their involvement?
We looked at the online landscape for our industry as a whole and noted how people search for hats via Google and other resources. As a result, we built our website’s URLs around commonly searched keywords and phrases to drive web traffic. We hired WEBITMD to design and manage an ongoing AdWords campaign. We continue to optimize it as the site evolves. We’re hoping to migrate the campaign to the Google Display Network within the next month. While 95% of WEBITMD’s contributions revolve around the PPC effort, they also assist our digital marketing campaign on Facebook and support our PR department.
What is the team composition?
We initially spoke to Mattan (Founder & CEO, WEBITMD) and still interact with him a couple of times a month if necessary. However, Matt (Director of Paid Media, WEBITMD) is our primary point of contact.
How did you come to work with WEBITMD?
I met Mattan five years ago and have always been impressed by him professionally and personally. As a result, I’ve always kept WEBITMD in mind if a suitable project arose. We interviewed five or six agencies but particularly appreciated Mattan’s hands-on approach. We knew his team wouldn’t take a massive budget and spend it all for the sake of it. They seemed like the best fit, so we hired them.

We’ve spent close to $100,000 thus far.

They started working for us consistently in February 2018. The engagement is currently ongoing.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Most of our traffic comes through the AdWords campaigns they manage for us. We’ve been slowly increasing that effort each month and they’ve consistently hit the numbers we want. We plan to continually increase our PPC budget until traffic stagnates.
How did WEBITMD perform from a project management standpoint?
We primarily communicate via email. In case of an emergency, I’m able to text Mattan and he’s always responsive. We initially had weekly calls with Matt to go over the numbers and analyze how the campaigns were performing. Now that we’ve found a productive rhythm, the calls take place on a bi-weekly basis.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They have our company’s best interest in mind. A lot of larger companies will burn through a budget to make money, but won’t reliably produce the agreed upon numbers. WEBITMD utilized a gradual approach to ensure they performed consistently. We trust in their ability to deliver and will continue working with them.
Are there any areas they could improve?
They could respond to email a little faster. As long as it’s within 24 hours, I guess I can’t complain too much.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Keep your business model transparent to them and they’ll accurately determine if they can deliver the numbers required. If they can’t meet your standard, they’ll tell you immediately.

We are a management services company for a wellness and life transformation resort in Costa Rica. I am the new Business Development Administrative Manager of the company. My job is to run the administrative side of developing new business and marketing.
What challenge were you trying to address with WEBITMD?
We wanted to make the resort that we're providing marketing services for be successful, and have a 90%+ occupancy rate. We wanted to generate leads either through the website, or through our call center.
What was the scope of their involvement?
WEBITMD runs our SEO [search engine optimization], pay-per-click, and web development. They work in tandem with our group in determining what metrics are applicable with regards to all of those things, finding what is or isn't working well, and maximizing efficiency on both ends. We have a Facebook remarketing campaign which we run through WEBITMD, and they've definitely helped us with content marketing, especially from an SEO standpoint. We've had to write copy in a way which is most beneficial to us from an SEO standpoint, avoiding duplicate content which would be negated by Google.
How did you come to work with WEBITMD?
I wasn't involved in the selection process. We had been working with an SEO agency which was used by my CEO’s [Chief Executive Officer] previous company. They weren't working out well for us for a variety of reasons, so we started looking for a new provider. We interviewed multiple agencies, but there was something about WEBITMD which stood out. For one thing, their price point was incredibly fair, and WEBITMD also had a profound understanding of what it was that we were looking to do. From day-one, within the first few minutes of our conversation, our teams clicked. WEBITMD understood where we were coming from: our goals and targets, as well as our vision.

Our scope has been continually scaled up during our collaboration, but I can't provide exact figures.
What is the status of this engagement?
We work continually with WEBITMD, and assign them a bigger and bigger role. They've proven themselves to be reliable time and time again.
Could you share any evidence that would demonstrate the productivity, quality of work, or the impact of the engagement?
Before working with WEBITMD, our website was esthetically-pleasing, but in terms of functionality and SEO, it was lacking. WEBITMD came in, and while maintaining our vision and aesthetic, made modifications which had a huge impact, whether it was putting information captures on every single page, or slight verbiage changes done from an SEO standpoint. WEBITMD taught us what the importance of headers was, and what should be included within H1, H2, and H3, in order to conform to Google. WEBITMD was a huge help in explaining indexing vs. non-indexing with Google; putting our blog on someone else's site would have been seen as duplicate content, for example.
WEBITMD has revamped multiple areas of our site, and has even improved the aesthetic in some areas. Their web developers are very talented, and they've taken our vision, bringing in new ideas. On 90% of these cases, we ended up siding with WEBITMD. Our site has been cleaned up, it's much more efficient, and makes much more sense from a customer perspective. Our SEO is significantly better, along with our traffic.
Since beginning our work with WEBITMD, our website traffic has tripled. My info-captures have doubled, and we've seen a continual sales improvement each month.
How did WEBITMD perform from a project management standpoint?
We have a wonderful vendor relationship with WEBITMD, talking openly about new ideas and business strategies. Even though it's obviously their business to help our business, I've appreciated that WEBITMD has taken this to another level, going above and beyond in every facet. Their CEO calls me every week with new ideas to consider. It's very hard to find vendors which are so involved and passionate about the client's vision. WEBITMD excels by taking on businesses that they work for, almost as if it was their own business.
What did you find most impressive about WEBITMD?
Any business, especially ones that aren't very large but are looking to scale, would benefit greatly by working with WEBITMD. They have incredible ideas when it comes to SEO and pay-per-click, and they look at things from a unique perspective. WEBITMD has written incredible copy for us, which is optimized for search engines beyond belief. It's not only great content which I want to have on my website, but the simple fact that it's geared towards getting us found online, is huge.
WEBITMD's web developer is one of the fastest designers that I've ever worked with. His turnaround time is 50% of any other developer that I've seen, while his quality is 200%. He's talented beyond belief, and brilliant when it comes to WordPress solutions. We've needed to have our website do some tricky stuff, including dynamic 800 numbers which we tracked through other vendors. We were able to do this without any hiccups, every time. WEBITMD's pay-per-click specialist is an impressive individual when it comes to his understanding of the field, going to the backend and finding connections which people don't normally find. I think that WEBITMD's team is overall unbelievable, and I feel lucky to have worked with them in their beginning stage. I feel that this company will become big shortly.

What is your role and responsibilities?
I am the general manager and CEO.
What was your goal for working with WebitMD?
Our goal was to increase traffic to our website as well as create a contingent website. They have done both successfully. The main site is already completed and beautiful.
Please describe the scope of their work.
WebitMD did Web development work to build our website. They also managed the pay-per-click campaign, as well as increasing the SEO [search engine optimization] on our current website.
What was your process for selecting WebitMD with which to work?
I thought that if I wanted a company to manage my SEO, then they should also be a company that has a very effective SEO themselves. I looked for the company that had the most exposure. WebitMD had a lot of exposure, which tells me they know how to be seen. We did a quick interview, and they seemed to have a good grasp of my business, so I engaged them.
Can you provide a ballpark dollar figure for the size of the work that they’ve done for you?
I pay $2,700 a month, which includes my SEO and pay-per-click campaign. I am billed separately for a new website, which was approximately $3,500. Our contract is for one year, and we'll reassess that after a year.
Do you have any statistics or metrics to track improvement from the project?
We’ve been working together for three months, and our stats are on Google Analytics. The results have been an improvement.

I have nothing to compare them to. I am getting a lot more exposure, especially with the pay-per-click campaign, the new signups, and the conversions. I have 32 conversions in three months that I can accredit to their work. Each purchase has been around $200, which has been a decent ROI [return on investment]. They are cold clients as opposed to my previous clients that I have met at a show. The fashion industry is not as big as you might think. All the main players are well known. Some new customers are smaller boutique stores that I never would have been able to reach without their SEO work.
Is there anything unique about them that really makes them stand out, compared to other companies?
They are a pretty standard SEO company, I don’t have anything to compare them to. I am impressed with their remarketing campaign, which is where my logo shows on Amazon or YouTube. That has been nice. Also, the amount of customization that they’re capable of doing on the new website has been good, and they are good about following up when I need a change made to my new website. Their follow up is very good.
Looking back on the work so far, is there any area that you think they could improve upon or that you might do differently?
They can definitely improve upon their designs. They are not necessarily a design company, so I haven't really been satisfied with the designs that they have created. We are our own design company, so we have helped them out when it comes to Web and graphic design. They are more technical than visual.
