How did Webespire Consulting perform from a project management standpoint?

The development was initially slower than I'd estimated but, once their owner [Rajesh Gupta] took control, progress improved a lot. I was initially working with one of their consultants.

Is there anything Webespire Consulting could have improved or done differently?

As long as their owner is in charge of operations, the work moves along. Whenever the project is handed to a consultant, progress gets slowed down. Not being native English speakers, communication was a challenge. They are otherwise a good company, but could benefit greatly from having a Hindi to English translator.

What business challenge were you trying to address with Webespire Consulting?

Because of the local infrastructure and labor costs, it became more sensible to outsource some of our work. We were looking for companies overseas in order to cut down some of these costs.

They assist us in website design and development. They've worked on four projects so far with us, and there are another two that are currently in the pipelines. The technologies they use are WordPress, Joomla, Magento, PHP, and MySQL.

How did you come to work with Webespire Consulting?

We researched multiple companies through the Internet, and Webespire were one of them.

Could you provide a sense of the size of this initiative in financial terms?

The cost per project ranges from $1,000 to $5,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with them six months ago. It's an ongoing relationship.

Could you share any statistics or metrics from this engagement?

My clients have been happy with the work they've received, in terms of design and feature development. We've had positive reviews for all projects we've worked on with Webespire. As a result, we've maintained a relationship with them, which we intend to keep in the long term.

How did Webespire Consulting perform from a project management standpoint?

They're flexible with our payment terms, and we've never had significant issues in terms of deadlines. There are moments when something may not get delivered on time, but there were always valid reasons for any delays.

In terms of management, the person that I deal with in their organization is very good at organizing anything we need. Their infrastructure and amount of staff are very good. Even in the holiday season, there will be someone available to assist me. I was very impressed with that.

What distinguishes Webespire Consulting from other providers?

The availability of the staff is great. If I'd been dealing with someone that went on holiday or was not working during the holidays, they'll have someone else to assist me then and there. If I ever have an urgent request, I can rest assured that someone at Webespire can fix it for me.

Is there anything Webespire Consulting could have improved or done differently?

Communication with their staff: their fluency in English is not always up to par. Other than that, I'm very happy with them.

The first project with Webespire Consulting started seven years ago. I'm still working with them.

Sometimes, the communication is sub-par, and there have been occasional delays.
