• We needed a complete digital overhaul to reposition PayBridge as a trusted fintech brand in an increasingly competitive space. Our old website looked dated, didn’t explain our services well, and wasn’t ranking in search results despite having strong case studies. Our goal was to redesign the site for clarity, authority, and performance — not just aesthetics. They kept us updated on Basecamp through the duration of the project -- in general we knew what to expect, what was done, and what was going to be done the week after. After the website was completed we received many compliments from customers, and can see the increase in sales too.

They were great. The communication was mainly through Basecamp, but we had several Zoom calls and they included many videos where they went over the progress and updates. There were a couple of times when our team would get too busy and they really worked to accomodate us and make progress on other elements of the project, so that no time is wasted.

We've worked with many vendors in the past - I think what makes them different is that they really listen. I particularly enjoyed my conversations with Rafael, where it felt like he understood the business and our customers and considered that in building our site. This really shows.

We asked Weberous to build a custom CRM platform that would manage, track and help us convert lead at a higher rate. The CRM is meant for our sales team to be able to reach out to high intent buyers looking for similar services to ours, track their engagement, automate outreach and help keep track of sales goals as well as the sales team performance. We were using AWS and had Weberous connect with our account there as well as other platforms through API integration.

We had a weekly call to go over progress and deliverables. Every week, they were able to show us progress, discuss issues or problems they foresee and ask us about details we didn't really think about.

They delivered everything on time and went above and beyond to make sure that we got what we wanted and more. There were items we never thought about which they implemented that have since provided us with great results and helped our sales team close many more deals.

They were highly responsive and communicative. They would call us or email us as soon as they found an issue or had a question about anything. They never complained about any of our requests and completed the job without any hiccups.

Overall, not really. We worked with other companies before so I can't complain about anything specific that they did.

For what projects/services did your company hire Weberous, and what were your goals?

We needed a faster, more efficient, great looking and super user friendly website. We hired Weberous to do all that plus to help us with developing an algorithm for our shipping calculator and that was our biggest challenge, but Weberous went above and beyond and solved that problem for us saving us time and money.

I read a lot reviews about Weberous online, I also noticed that they have developed sites for very big enterprises, Rafael was able to give me solution for all our challenges and most important the communication was flawless, anything we thought about at anytime we contacted Weberous and they got back to us fast with soloutions.

We had plenty of meetings at the beginning trying to describe as much as possible what we had in our mind for our website design-wise and technology-wise. We broke the projects in parts and we went through it step by step making sure that every part of the website is according to our needs and wants.

We designed the new template first, we added various API's especially for the shipping calculator that it was the most complex part of the project, a lot trial and error there because we have involved many carriers, various dimensions, weight, locations and international locations. In the end, the result was perfect!

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

We've got countless emails from our loyal customers expressing their satisfaction of their new experience with our website. Seamless navigation, fast, quick checkout, email automations and more. We spent 60% less time in shipping calculation than before, we saw around 30-40% more business growth (from all the abandoned carts we had), much lower bounce rates, and higher traffic.

Rafael was very organized, i have to give him that. He kept us on track, and we completed the project task by task. We had weekly meetings over zoom to discuss the progress of the project. We flooded him with text messages and emails with all edits and ideas we wanted to add last minute but he was there for us knowing how important is this website for us.

They run like a good like a very good oiled engine. Their experience makes the difference. They have seen everything and that makes them react to the problem faster and efficient

I am the CEO and president of Stunt Players. We have a database for stuntmen and stuntwomen in the film and TV industry. It was started by my dad 20 years ago in the form of a hardcopy book.

The idea was that a stuntperson would subscribe, and they would send in their headshots, a brief resume, their stats, and their abilities. They wouldn’t audition as normal actors would. Stunt coordinators would use this book to hire stunt people for jobs.

What challenge were you trying to address with Weberous?

I had taken the company over from my father to put it online because it was getting outdated, and I was looking for someone to help with web development for our company.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

They basically developed my entire site from scratch, which was moderately complex. People would sign up and build their own profiles, and we were looking at creating a few hundred different profiles. 

It is a highly custom WordPress website. They did all the development from the frontend to the backend. They worked with me on the design, and they are credited to pretty much everything you see on the site. 

The functionalities center around the search for specific talent. For example, someone may need to find a guy who is six foot three and good with tactical weapons but can also drift a car. They also added a shop and a blog function.
What is the team composition?

Rafael (Founder, Weberous) was my main point of contact. He has been like the project manager. He’s the top dog there and did a very fantastic job. Beyond that, there were four to five people that were working with me at any given time. 

How did you come to work with Weberous?

I needed to find a local company that could work with me because my knowledge of web design is zilch. Initially, I went with the more affordable route, and I found a company overseas that could do it for a very low price. Then one day, I realized I couldn’t log into anything and their phone numbers were connected to a bakery in Michigan. It was a nightmare.

I started meeting with other people to build the site from scratch and figure out what to do. It was a long process of emailing, calling, and meeting with about 100 different development teams locally. 

During that time, I wanted to make sure who I was working with would be efficient. A lot of other groups had so many ideas about how they wanted to do things. Weberous would always suggest things to me, but it was never overbearing. They are always ready and willing to work with me. We selected them because they were the right fit.

We spent between $50,000–$60,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked on the website in 2014, and the project took about six months.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The stunt coordinators and directors use the site primarily for all their searches. The team optimized it for mobile for us as well, and we were pleased with that. They captured our vision.

How did Weberous perform from a project management standpoint?

I’d give them five stars across the board. Their communication is second to none. 

Any time I had a question about anything, they were really good at simply explaining it. Weberous’ whole team was very good at offering explanations about the decisions they made. This is a big reason I would recommend them to other people. 

Other groups I talked with before would try to upsell me. But, Weberous came in with the cleanest method of working. For example, they would give me suggestions about why we shouldn’t implement certain ideas because it would cost me an arm and a leg.

Over the years, we have used a couple of different ways to communicate. We used Basecamp at one time. Things always started with emails and phone calls, and then we met face to face, which was important to me. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

They treated me like a human, and that has been the biggest thing. I answer to thousands of stunt people (who are some of the wildest people on the planet). Anytime I've had a situation where something hasn’t gone right, Weberous gets on it right away.

They are there for you. They are in your corner at any time of the day. When I’ve had times where I didn’t know what was happening with a glitch or error, they would look into right away and communicate to me in simple terms.

Are there any areas they could improve?

They are a group I feel really safe and extremely comfortable with. Their work, pricing structure, and working style have all been completely great.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

They aren’t overbearing but are very helpful in giving pointers.

They built a website from scratch where we can present who we are and our expertise, and then the viewer can read inspirational posts about different countries. We had long conversations with Rafael, their founder, and he gave his opinions and insight into what we were doing. We worked collaboratively on the project. We have a lot of features on the site now, and Weberous worked on exporting a lot of posts to the new site from out old blog.

We contacted around 15 companies because we knew it would be a big investment. We wanted to get the right firm. We talked to a firm that exceeded our budget but they recommended Weberous because they would be cheaper. We met with Rafael in person and everything felt right.

We started working with them in February 2015 and the project was completed in June 2015. We continue to work with them on upgrading the site.

Before, the site was just a blog about our travels. By converting it to the new site, we’re now generating leads through the web traffic. The users are happy and impressed with the site.

I’m the owner, CEO, and president of Axis Purchasing. It is a group purchasing company and supplier of management programs. We work with larger food service restaurant chains, hospitals, casinos—basically anybody who serves food to the public.

I’ve used them a number of times for marketing and the web presence of the company.

What was the scope of their involvement?

They’ve helped us develop the Axis Purchasing website that the public sees. The site also has a link to a member’s portal. This has the operations and important confidential information that members need to run their business. We have two of those. They also manage the internal hosting and portal functionality of my business. The website was a collaborative effort. I designed what I needed since I knew what I wanted in terms of flow and functionality. Then, they put it together. We worked collaboratively on the screens and everything that’s out there. For the frontend, they call it marketing where you can go and learn about us. Marketing was not a big thing for me. It was more of a presence showing that I’m real and legit. My business is B2B in a very small market so I’m not looking to drive people there. My clients are my end users.

How did you come to work with Weberous?

I have worked with a number of big IT companies and I wasn’t looking to pile a ton of money into this. Somebody had recommended them to me. We gave it a shot and they were very good.

I’ve spent millions on IT and got nothing. All of their costs are extremely reasonable and I’m pleased with the cost.

We started originally working in 2009. They’ve been on and off doing different projects for me ever since.

Could you share any evidence that would demonstrate the productivity, quality of work, or the impact of the engagement?

Everybody likes the look and feel of the website. You see it’s really nice and cool, plus I can get my reports. Everybody wants another portal to go to. There have been no outstanding issues with the finished products. I don’t know IT, so I just want it to work.

At times, they said, “You shouldn’t be doing that, we’ll talk about it,” and I’ll go, “I guess you’re right” or “I’m going to do it that way anyways.” He’s not somebody who sits back in the corner. He’ll be interactive and give you guidance on what and why.

How did Weberous perform from a project management standpoint?

They were fine. Rafael is extremely good at what he does. Working with him was very collaborative. There wasn’t a ton of needing to change scope documents. It was very interactive. Follow-up with him, at least for me, was anytime I needed something else done. For example, if the website goes down or a new program needed to get implemented, he never bills me for those. He does bill for scope—if I’ll go in and need to change something in there that requires a little design or programming—but it’s always been very reasonable.

What did you most impressive about Weberous?

For the portals and the websites they’ve put together, they’ve been on the money.

Are there any areas Weberous could improve?

I don’t have any downsides on Rafael and Weberous. I mean, I’m still using them.
