Please describe your company and your position there.

We are a venture funded D2C healthy cookware brand. I am the co-founder and COO of the company.

For what projects/services did your company hire WEBDIGITA, and what were your goals?

We wanted to build a scalable, high converting eCommerce Website. And also wanted to seemlessly integrate our ERP and other support softwares with our eCommerce portal.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We evaluated more than 30 partners before choosing Webdigita. We wanted a client friendly, scalable, affordable partner based out of Chennai. We were looking at boutique companies with a vision and ability to scale with us. We Shortlisted them based on our search criteria and past portfolio of work. We took several in person meetings to evaluate teams and ability to work with them. We compared and Shortlisted 10 companies in this space of which we choose them due to attitude and pricing.

The process included design, development, optimization, marketing & other integrations.

How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

We worked with a team of about 5 people. I believe they have a team of 25 to 30 people, most of them are web developers and some designers.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

They have successfully completed the entire life-cycle of building an eCommerce website. They prioritize tasks based on their impact on our business

Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.

Very hands on team with prompt replies from both founders. They are very candid with timeline and feedback. We use email, Google meets and excel trackers for work.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Their ability to scale with us. No other service partner has scaled with us so we'll for the past 3 years.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

I wish they were a bigger team and we got the opportunity to work more in person on a monthly basis as we are in the same city. May be in person monthly reviews. This would have helped in faster understanding of certain deliverables and goals.

I work for a men's fast-fashion brand that has over 120 outlets across India as well as an online store. I spearhead the overall e-commerce and marketing for the brand, including e-commerce business development, digital marketing, and integrated marketing communications.

We hired WEBDIGITA to help us transition our entire e-commerce and omnichannel framework from Magento 1.9 to Magento 2.  

What were your goals for this project?

We wanted to support the omnichannel business model by offering better customer experience and aesthetics.

How did you select this vendor?

We saw WEBDIGITA’s profile and expertise on their website. Our decision was based on their proposed project cost, deliverables, and deadline.

Describe the project and the services they provided in detail.

WEBDIGITA has completed most of the work for this project, and our engagement will end in August. They developed an e-commerce website that has local and international payment gateways and automatic currency conversion. They linked the outlet inventory feed on the CMS and created functionality that allows users to reserve and hold items. Based on where the order was placed, customers can select from an automated list of logistics providers. Customer can also pick up items from any of our physical stores.

What was the team composition?

WEBDIGITA has more than 25 people on their team. They assigned the following to our project: designers and developers, CMS experts, UI/UX experts, and A/B testing specialists, and an account manager.  

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

After implementation, the overall active website session duration increased from two minutes to 3.25 minutes while our bounce rate went down from 49% to 32%. Our omnichannel business model is shaping up well as expected.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

As stated in the contract, WEBDIGITA carried out the work in phases. They assigned an account manager so that we’re in touch with only one person. This system has helped us give inputs seamlessly. We also reviewed their work weekly.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

We were impressed by WEBDIGITA’s proven expertise, well-trained team, and professionalism. They only recommended proven, real-time solutions for scaling up our e-commerce business.

We did not see any areas for improvement in their process.
