Custom Web Dev. for Wedding Film Production Company
"If I ever need web development services again, they’re my first and only call."

A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the owner of a production company that primarily specializes in wedding films. We do a little bit of corporate work as well, but the shareholder majority of our clients are couples getting married. I started the company 4–5 years ago.
What challenge were you trying to address with Web Tech Fusion?
I needed a team that could professionally market my portfolio through a website. Additionally, I needed a website for my clients to use to contact me. Another challenge was integrating the contact form into the workflow.
What was the scope of their involvement?
They built a custom website completely from scratch. I didn’t want a template-based site because many competitors in my industry use templated sites. Instead, I requested that the site be clean and minimalistic, which aligns with my brand. The most important functionalities of the site were the visual portfolio and contact form. Because my portfolio is creative, I needed the functionality and design surrounding the portfolio to be clean and able to effectively showcase my work.
For the contact form, I wanted a streamlined system that sent me an email notification when a customer fills it out without needing plug-ins. I wanted to be able to catalog, reference, and check off forms as I responded to clients as well.
One of our challenges was showcasing the packages I offer while still allowing customers to view ala carte options without sacrificing the clean aesthetic. I decided to leave the ball in their court, and they took a pile of information from me to create a very aesthetic product.
They also worked with us to create a video pipeline from Vimeo to my site. The website extracts videos from a specific location on Vimeo and uploads them to the site. That keeps me from going to their team whenever I want to update the site.
What is the team composition?
Matt (President & CEO) was my direct contact. I assume there were others working behind the scenes, though.
How did you come to work with Web Tech Fusion?
I found them on Google after searching for web development companies local to my area. He got back to me almost immediately, and I liked the idea of being able to work with a local provider.
How much have you invested with them?
In the end, the project cost between $8,000–$9,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
We worked on this project for about two months. The project took place around August–October 2020.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Matt hit it out of the park; this is the best website I’ve had. Prior to working with them, I was using templates that didn’t fit well into my workflow. The site they delivered showcases my work leaps and bounds better than what I’ve used in the past. I agreed to take this review because of how excellent their services were. It was worth the investment in every way.
Before we finalized the site, I sent it to peers and received very positive feedback on the quality of the site. Since we launched the site, I’ve had 2–3 new clients find me through the site, comment on its aesthetic, and book me. Especially because I only work with about 15–20 couples each year, seeing that level of success this early is hugely impactful.
Another measure of success is the speed at which I’m able to respond to clients after they contact me via the contact form. Once they fill out the form, I immediately receive their information. The automated response and personalized email tokens go a long way with my clients as well. One of my clients commented about how fast I was able to respond to them.
How did Web Tech Fusion perform from a project management standpoint?
Matt likely could’ve completed the website even faster if not for delays on my end. I slowed him down at times because I didn’t have all of the site content ready when they needed it. They came in slightly under budget, and the process was overwhelmingly efficient and organized. When he sent me the scope of work and a detailed breakdown of each individual site page, I was shocked at his unbelievably organized process.
They were extremely detail-oriented, and communication was very fast. Every time I emailed him, I’d get same-day responses. Whenever I request changes, they’re implemented quickly as well. We communicated primarily through email and a few phone calls.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Their professionalism and organization stood out so much. I didn’t even consider another provider after I spoke with Matt. If I ever need web development services again, they’re my first and only call.
Are there any areas they could improve?
I certainly wouldn’t mind if their services were slightly cheaper, but they bring tremendous value for what they charge. For some, it may be a larger investment, but I have no qualms about what they change.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Organize on your end. Our biggest delays were on my end. Matt comes prepared and ready to work, so make sure you have your ducks in a row if you want to expedite the process.

Web Dev., Digital Marketing, PPC, & SEO for HVAC Company
"I don’t know where we’d be without Web Tech Fusion."

A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the operations manager. Our company does HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and home performance generators.
What challenge were you trying to address with Web Tech Fusion?
We had an absolutely horrendous website. I actually was trying to take on the task myself but ended up looking elsewhere.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Matthew (President) showed us everything it would take to build a new website. They originally built the WordPress site from scratch. Matthew also provides marketing services through managing our budget and web traffic, handling our reputation and brand name, and SEO and PPC.
For SEO and PPC, Matthew went in and found that we weren’t using the right keywords. We were ranked on page 48 or higher. After some market research, he built a new campaign for us with 400 or 500 different keywords.
What is the team composition?
I originally started doing business with Matthew. Since then, he’s built a team of specialists.
How did you come to work with Web Tech Fusion?
I was actually in a sandwich shop one day and ended up complaining to a guy I knew there. He said that he knew Matthew and told me to give him a call. I just felt comfortable, and I could tell he was knowledgeable.
How much have you invested with them?
We’ve invested between $5 million–$8 million for all of his services over the years.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working with them in October 2013.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
I don’t know where we’d be without Web Tech Fusion. They’ve blown us away. Over the past few years, we’ve seen massive results. We’re on the third version of the site now, and we’re also on the first page for everything we want to be on. It’s been the best business partnership we’ve made in the last decade.
How did Web Tech Fusion perform from a project management standpoint?
Matthew is on me all the time. He doesn’t let anything slip by. He’s very responsive, and they’ve always delivered on time and within budget.
For communication, Matthew set up different areas for us to connect. We have all of our agendas, timelines, and projects through Google Docs. It’s a transparent process. I usually receive monthly updates, but I'll receive them weekly if it’s a larger project.
What did you find most impressive about them?
I’m most impressed with their knowledge. Matthew built a website that helps people find us. Every aspect of what we do, I’ve called him for assistance. Their knowledge in all areas is just amazing.
We ran our own marketing budget for a long time. What Matthew uncovered was absolutely mind-blowing. Everything that they do is above and beyond my expectations.
Are there any areas they could improve?
To be honest, no. Not in my opinion.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Ask questions and listen. Matthew is very knowledgeable, and his team of experts has grown over the years. If you’re choosing Web Tech Fusion, you’re making a good decision.
The site delivered fits the client’s business model better than any of their previous sites have. The aesthetic of the site makes it stand out from those of competitors, and the automated contact form helps ensure quick responses to interested parties. Web Tech Fusion remained organized throughout.
