For what projects/services did your company hire Web Hands Marketing, and what were your goals?
We had a relatively low level of sophistication/understanding of SEO but understood the value. We needed practical guidance and an understanding of expectations vs budget.
In terms of output, we were looking to make sure our website helped us achieve high growth and our marketing efforts were well placed (given our limited spend).
How did you select Web Hands Marketing and what were the deciding factors?
Genuine advice and consultancy as to how, where and when to spend our money. As well as clarity on our current opportunities in the market. Personable approach and a genuine interest in our business and excitement about the potential of a partnership.
Thoroughness and detail was always very clear but crucially delivered in a way that was both easy for us to digest and interesting. Commercially driven and approached our business as it was their own.

Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the digital marketing manager for Select Butchery.
What challenge were you trying to address with Web Hands Marketing?
We brought them in to raise awareness and increase our digital presence.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Their team helped boost the content strategy I created. They provided services in PPC, SEO, search engine results page (SERP), and paid social advertising on Facebook. The main focus for us was to address our local audience, those located within a 10-mile premise of the shop. They’re also doing Google display ads on a regular basis.
What is the team composition?
We work with three team members, including Ben (Senior Digital Strategist) and Phillipa (Project Management and Operations).
How did you come to work with Web Hands Marketing?
They were recommended to me for a different project that never got off the ground. When this project came up, Ben was the first person I spoke to about it. I’ve worked with other partners in the past who’ve worked with Web Hands Marketing and they always had a good experience.
How much have you invested with them?
We invested £800 (approximately $1,100 USD) for the SEO audit improvements, £300 (approximately $400 USD) a month for the Google Ads, and £120 (approximately $200 USD) for social.
What is the status of this engagement?
The engagement was from October 2020–January 2021.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
We received a lot more site traffic, app downloads, and sales. We were very impressed with the results. We had a 600% increase in visits to the site in the first two weeks of January. The quality of their work is reflected in the amount of traffic and app downloads we’ve had that point business in our direction.
Web Hands Marketing is quick to implement things. They work off the cuff as well. If something is short notice, they have no problem and have a great attitude about jumping on it straight away. Their team is really friendly and easy to work with.
How did Web Hands Marketing perform from a project management standpoint?
We communicate about once or twice a week, usually through email and Zoom. They meet every deadline, and everything is always completed quickly.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They provide a personal and friendly service. We feel as though they’re invested in helping us achieve our goals in a positive manner. I trust Ben 100%.
Are there any areas they could improve?
In terms of the reporting, sometimes the information is quite technical and difficult to swallow. If there was a more efficient way to represent the reports, that’d be helpful. It’s not a deal-breaker though.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
They’re very easy to work with, and I can see them fitting quite well with anyone. Make sure you supply all of the correct information.
