A truly remote working motion & digital team.
CREATIVE, MOTION & DIGITAL IN ONE PLACE, YET NEVER IN ONE PLACE
A TRULY REMOTE-WORKING MOTION & DIGITAL TEAM WORKING WITH BRANDS, AGENCIES AND GLOBAL PARTNERS.
We’re an adaptive and flexible team, providing digital, video & creative services to meet your requirements.
We've been working with agencies for over seven years, three independent and creative teams joined forces to provide a streamlined integrated approach to agency support.
Covert was born.
You read that correctly! We work remotely 100% of the time, with no central office (though we have use of a shared office space network if we need one). All of our project management and development is tracked using CRM software.
Because we don’t pay rent, business rates, or electricity–and we don’t have a juice bar–we can pass these savings on to our clients. We maintain quality yet are cheaper than our competition.
All of our communication is in real-time. We use a combination of Slack, Skype, Google Hangouts and several other conferencing and screen sharing platforms. When necessary, we will visit our clients in person for briefing, consultancy and in some instances, delivery.
Brands AND Agencies.
Yes! We work with both directly, yet always ensure there is no conflict of interest. Our reputation precedes us and, until 2019, we publicised purely by word-of-mouth with the majority of our work still under NDA.
It’s all in the name: Covert by name, Covert by nature.
Those that we CAN mention - Dell, Disney, Citreon, Jaguar, Volvo, H&M, BBC, Channel 4, The Brits, LexisNexis, Xerox, Holland & Barrett and more.
A big part of what we do is working with brands to create high impact explainer videos to engage audiences.✌️? Come say hey at www.wearecovert.com to chat about a project.
Commissioned by the powerhouse Somethin’ Else on behalf of Media Com, we were tasked with the challenge to compose, edit and animate a suite of social assets for Dell UK’s Black Friday sales.
Our deliverables were comprised of two distinctive approaches. The first was a tongue-in-cheek look at overtly engaging news anchors, whilst the second was series of 3d animated pieces. These pieces highlighted the beauty and form of several Dell laptops.
Working with the amazing Electric Theatre TV we assisted in designing a series of title designs, screen graphics and animated lyrics for the H&M Autumn ad campaign.
With an agency like Adam & Eve DDB on board, production from Caviar and POST, and direction from Electric Theatre, this was a great production to be involved in. We had a great time jumping on a project with such huge international exposure, using subtle references to Korean Karaoke style and a really playful edit.
Taking inspiration from the Citroen DS7’s form, and
the intricacy of its magnificent headlight design, we
explored the concepts of reflection and repetition
for this series of television ads. This series was
commissioned by Somethin’ Else for Sky Arts.
Aurora Media & Formula E TV approached Covert to produce ident & supporting channel branding in the forms of wipes and transitions for Jaguar’s E Sport presentation.
Paying close attention to the brands stringent branding guidelines, Covert built a concept around animated neon streaks, representative of the vehicles in motion racing around a track
Working closely with Salesforce delivery partner Polsource, Covert handled the entire production on this informative and promotional piece for Volvo’s new Quotation Service Scheduling platform.
Engaging the viewer through a snappy edit, and informing through CGI elements and key points, the video serves as a launchpad to excite Volvo’s dealership partners, highlight the platform’s benefits, and give some insight into operations.
Creep and Pablo London engaged Covert to produce a full 3D rendered video for the promotion of the latest Holland and Barrett Penny Sale.
Since the fantastic response to the initial engagement, the partnership has lead to four more highly successful campaigns – and we are still counting!
Channel 4 teamed up with Nationwide, Maltesers and McCain to broadcast a primetime takeover ad break, taking a stand against online abuse. Working closely with director Matthew Mcdermott and The Outfit, Covert provided all VFX across the Nationwide and McCain spots.
The spots had a fantastic reception with the hashtag #togetheragainsthate. This trended on multiple social channels whilst the campaign featured on several noteworthy marketing/PR news sites.
Commissioned by the awesome powerhouse behind The BRITs, Somethin’ Else, we are proud to have been involved in the evolution of the BRITs’ digital journey.
Re-designing the entire main website UI for the 2019 event, particular attention was paid to UX within a mobile friendly environment whilst utilising the previous site’s content and SEO pathways.
Using key IPs such as Blue Planet II and Danger Mouse the aim was to get kids up and dancing. Therfore some “interactive” videos were created to help drive imagination and exercise together.
Each film is introduced by its key actors and continously drives forward. At regular and timed intervals varying elements have to be “dodged” or “ducked”. Be it a Danger Mouse bad-guy or plastics in the oceans.
