I am the export and e-sales manager for a book importer and distributor that has a chain of five specialized bookstores and an e-bookstore. My job is to look after our online bookstore’s sales, marketing, and development.

Our goal was to create an online bookstore that fits our customers’ needs and represents us, ultimately helping us sell more books.

The vendor created our online bookstore and handled everything from design to e-commerce installment. From time to time, we asked Waynord to make some changes or improvements based on customer feedback, and they respond promptly to our requests.

We worked with about four people.

What outcomes or results can you share that demonstrate progress and/or success?

Currently, the turnover of our online bookstore exceeds the turnover of some of the regular bookstores in our chain.

How effective was the project management?

The project management is effective. While we’ve had some miscommunication, these were solved promptly. They always meet our deadlines. This is important because it allowed us to launch our website before the Vilnius book fair and promote it there.

We hired them to develop a new website to replace the old outdated one.

What were your goals for this project?

Our goal was to have a website with a modern design that was user-friendly, mobile responsive, and had an easy-to-use e-commerce platform.

We had an initial meeting with the team where we discussed our requirements, goals, terms, etc. Our existing website was used as the basis and they suggested several improvements, new design solutions, and more.

We worked directly with the project manager but the team also included a designer and a software developer.

What outcomes or results can you share that demonstrate progress and/or success?

The new website is much more user-friendly than before. We asked several customers for their opinion and they confirmed that they found it easy to choose the product they wanted and make a purchase online. The new site also created more opportunities for product cross-selling.

The project manager was very helpful. We met the deadline and were satisfied with the expertise they provided.
