We used their staff augmentation service and hired their specialist to supplement our team working on a web development project. It was a website for the government, which was designed to be used in the educational system. The difficulty of this project was that it had precisely defined guidelines and requirements, which had to be followed.

The project involved complete website development, including the backend and frontend. We had to create an entire website and its library from scratch. We followed guidelines concerning the layout, which for instance specified that the website had to be easily accessible, for example by people with disabilities or by users who possess only basic software e.g. without JavaScript. Additionally, the website had to be highly resilient to cyberattacks.
How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
We worked with one senior full-stack developer. The project required the use of .Net.

The project has already finished. The website is operating as planned and our customer is pleased with the outcome.

We had great communication with the developer. We used Slack, Jira, and GitHub to coordinate, and they worked well with our team. All the tasks were completed in a timely manner.

The recruitment process was quick but we didn’t avoid certain drawbacks. We chose one candidate who had already passed a technical interview, however, at the very last moment this person resigned. Since it was an urgent project, Vratislavia Software decided to give us their other specialist who was available offhand. We were satisfied with this resolution as the issue was resolved promptly and the lease conditions remained the same.

I work as a software development manager for CEVA Logistics. We are an international company offering a broad range of transportation and supply-chain solutions.

We have an ongoing project of developing two applications. The first app is designed to control the warehouse operations and the other one will monitor deliveries. We hired Vratislavia Software to recruit frontend and backend developers for us. We also rented two of their software developers in a Staff Augmentation model. Our Goals was that we needed to scale up and hired Vratislavia Software to recruit a few specialists for us. In some cases we needed developers urgently and they succeeded in delivering them to us within an extremely short timeframe.

Thus far, Vratislavia Software has recruited 6 people for us and we hired 2 specialists in a Staff Augmentation model.

We needed to hire software developers as soon as possible and Vratislavia Software provided us these specialists within the required timeframe. It is an ongoing partnership so as our projects grow and require additional developers, we can rely on them to deliver their specialists in a timely manner. Right now we see that because Vratislavia things in our Company happend before we had this blocker, now everything is in propper way !

Project Management was on highest level, every aspects were picked up quickly and smothly, its never happend that we have delays. The communication is mostly online so we can easily reach out to each other and discuss project details or handle difficulties. We also have daily scrum meetings.

We needed software engineers urgently and Vratislavia Sotware managed to deliver skilled specialists within a short time, which is normally a difficult thing to do. What is more, they verify their employees' technical abilities and provide developers with excellent skills for a reasonable price.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
We have a great experience with them and I can’t think of anything that they can improve at the moment. What I know upfront i will contact Vratislavia again when we will be looking for specialists to our team !

We wanted to create new tracking system. In order not to disturb the production processes, we are rewriting the code of our old system to the new one, splitting the monolith to a micro-service architecture.

For several years we have cooperated with the founder of Vratislavia Software as a contractor. Thanks to the good cooperation and the growing needs of our company, we finally started cooperation with a larger number of employees.

We describe our issues with the current system and our requirements to Vratislavia Software. Thanks to their experience and knowledge, we found a way to migrate all our businesses to a new system with a very limited impact for the users.
At the start of the project, the business analyst collect and refined all our requirements and split into developing tasks to the team. After each sprint, we got a feedback on the progress of the project. This new software architecture is really a big step away for our company: it will allow us a better flexibility, cost optimization and scalability.

We work with an architect, 2 developers, a tester and a business analyst.

Nowadays, micro-services developed by the team were fitting our specifications: work is documented, code is reviewed, implementation is tested (using manual, unit and integration tests) and deployment is automated.

We have no objections. We were kept informed about the progress of the project. Meetings are organized every 2 weeks after which we receive a report.

Professionalism. It is a team of people who know what they do, have knowledge and are well organized. They work with the SCRUM methodology, which greatly facilitates access to information about the progress of the project. They are very easy to work with and their communication is really good.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
No, I don’t think they could improve. We have a very great experience with them.
