I am the product owner. Our platform is solely focused on the cybersecurity talent industry serving as a trusted brand.

For what projects/services did your company hire VLdev, and what were your goals?
We believe that by making your resume into a public-private profile we eliminate the fears associated with privacy concerns, reprisal, and unconscious or conscious bias. Additionally, we facilitate blind recruiting thereby support diversity and inclusion within the workplace. So, we had a goal to create an application with special functionality.
SOLUTION
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
We chose VLdev after a lengthy vetting process of various software development organizations. VLdev was one of the few companies that could provide a complete team dedicated to bringing our vision to reality. For us, User Experience (UX) was paramount. VLdev was able to execute our vision under an extremely tight deadline. They are true professionals in every sense, from leadership through development.

VLdev designed and developed a full-service SAAS platform that facilitates job posting along with a modern method of recruit all while affording the job seeker discretion. The project started with an invaluable discovery workshop where ideas were polished even before fingers hit the keyboard.
Over the course of the next few months, VLdev would facilitate discovery and design workshops to ensure our vision came to reality. The VLdev team operated in 2-week sprints, which afford us time to test and elicit customer feedback throughout the development process. This helped ensure we were making sound decisions throughout.
VLdev was challenged with building our SAAS from the ground up in under 6 months. They were able to achieve this while also adhere to standard coding practices and documenting their work.
How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
There were 8 people in the dedicated team, including a project manager, a designer, a software architect, and 4 developers. Other resources would come and go depending on the sprint cycle.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
We were able to launch the product on time at a major industry event, this was a major milestone within our organization. The product continues to make an impact on our brand and our industry. We are quickly gaining market adoption. The VLdev team performed so well that we continued working with them after the initial launch.

The project management was great. The team was always reachable via Slack and Google Meets. They consistently met their agreed-upon milestones and delivered the product on time.
