Please describe your company and your position there.

I am the founder of an independent consulting firm specializing in network and security design. We develop and engineer automation solutions for data center infrastructures.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

For what projects/services did your company hire Vizah GmbH?

We hired Vizah GmbH to assist with DevOps as well as provide software expertise and technical support.

What were your goals for this project?

Our goal was to deliver continuously and integrate multiple operating systems and vendors. We wanted to automate infrastructure tasks by developing scripts for commercial solutions with open-source frameworks, usually in Python.

How did you select this vendor?

We based our decision on our client’s IT environment.

Describe the project in detail.

Vizah GmbH provided engineers and developers to solve algorithm questions and deliver high-functioning processes. We had to define automation scripts and playbooks. Our work together involved a large volume of API requests, scripting and channeling processes for hardware, and SDN (software-defined networking) solutions.

What was the team composition?

We worked with an outstanding engineering team from Vizah GmbH. They also assigned a project manager who had our requirements translated into code.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Our customers benefit from the work we did with Vizah GmbH. The automation allows them to save time as they can now do tasks with a simple click of a button.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

They had strong project management. It usually took them just a few days to deliver what we needed. We usually asked for simple adjustments via email. Plus, their team was friendly.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

We were impressed with the quality of nearshoring.

Are there any areas for improvement?

They could offer a more extensive choice of software engineers.
