For what projects/services did your company hire Vivirhub?

I and my partner spent years in the hospitality industry and learned a lot of things. When we decided to go with our startup we were not clear how to create a road-map to build an online presence. I heard a lot about Vivirhub through my colleagues. I found the one-stop solution for my requirements and they have done a great job by putting their experience and skills in my business.

What were your goals for this project?

To transit from offline to online we needed a clear roadmap to build our online presence. We were in search of IT professionals who can help us to coach us (Both management and our team) and also build our website.

How did you select this vendor?

We were recommended to us by my colleague. I had other 8 vendors but when I had a call with the founder of Vivirhub - Aman, I was impressed by clarity he and his team had in this industry. The team had done several big successful projects in the past which helped us to made our decision.

Vivirhub did an amazing job and helped us to shift our offline business to an online business. While Creating MVP of the website, their team developed the internal customized CRM from scratch. We also engaged their design team to create mockups and resolve design challenges visually.

The founder of Vivirhub "Aman" is an amazing person. He is an experienced IT professional and Management consultant who helped our business to get decent growth. They have become our full-time team

They have experienced teams in each department who understand their roles and responsibilities clearly and delivered the right product. They are people of "tools" and everything was clearly managed through project management tools and slack/skype for communication. Due to Ägile methodology" It was super easy to track the progress.

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

It’s hard to measure the impact with metrics because we started from scratch. They took our vision and turned it into a reality. They created website and a totally bespoke CRM—nothing else is like it, so that has enabled our business to thrive. We’re very pleased with how it worked out.

Since the project ended, I’ve considered what we paid them, our engagement, and what the competition could have done for us, and I don’t think the project could have gone better. We have a really solid and reliable product and we paid a fair price. Love them.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

As I said, they are people of "tools" and everything was clearly managed through project management tools and slack/skype for communication. Due to Ägile methodology" It was super easy to track the progress.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

What stood out to me the most from their process was the ability to have a clear understanding our vision and expectations and aligned themselves with our requirements.

They produced really high-quality code, asked great questions, and identified issues that ended up with having a long lasting business relationship, but ultimately, the fact that now they functioned like an extension of our team that made the process as easy to manage as possible. That made us feel comfortable. We could trust them to deliver. We're in the same time zone, allowing their team to work during our hours.

Are there any areas for improvement?

No team and organization are perfect. that's true. My only suggestion would be if they can spend more time to speak over the phone calls.. but that's something vary person to person.

CareBoat is an application for people in need of nurses, plumbers, and similar services. I am the business development and product manager of the company.

What challenge were you trying to address with Vivirhub?

I was looking for a developer who could start our project from scratch.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

They used a design template which was customized per our expectations. They did the frontend development for the WordPress theme using Bootstrap, while it was PHP on the backend. At the moment, the solution is available only on the web. However, it’s a responsive site, so it can be used on mobile browsers such as Chrome and Safari.

MySQL was used for our database. We also have social media plug-in integration, through which users can like our page on LinkedIn and Facebook. I have shared my ideas regarding online payment integration, and they are working on this. They have also created content for the site.

What is the team dynamic? 

Initially, we worked with an HTML, CSS, and jQuery frontend developer and added another one in order to expedite the work.

How did you come to work with Vivirhub?

I received a reference from a friend and contacted their company. I had an interview with them and looked at their design work.

How much have you invested with them?

The total cost of this project so far has been $12,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with them in March 2016 and the relationship is ongoing.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

They did a very good job for us. We still need to integrate Google Analytics, in order to see how often users come to our site, who is using it, and how much time they spend on it. We have also started social media marketing and content creation.

How did Vivirhub perform from a project management standpoint?

We only communicated through Skype and email, without any project management tools. I was in contact with one of their managers. He is a great person, with excellent written and oral communication.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I am a business development and marketing person, so I appreciate the representation; how the work is communicated. This was impressive, based on the number of ideas they came up with on the design side. Looking at our website, it’s very user-friendly.

Are there any areas they could improve?

There is nothing I could mention for them to improve in general. They’ve provided a lot of improvement feedback for us and have done a very good job. They could start using tools like JIRA, in order to have a more Agile approach to development, which would allow us to make changes at any time during the middle or end of a project. They did have an Agile approach, but there was a need for tools to assist with it.

Vivirhub designed and developed our website from scratch, assisting with idea sketching, mockup designs, backend programming, and QA [quality assurance] testing. The website is mobile-responsive and compatible with different devices. They followed an Agile methodology and used relevant project management tools.

Explain how the solution addressed your business challenge.

They created a dynamic admin panel that allows us to manage all the data.

What was the team composition?

Vivirhub has a team of over 80 people with relevant experience and knowledge. They assigned us a dedicated project manager for regular communication and used in-house tools to keep track of daily project updates and tasks.

What outcomes or results can you share that demonstrate progress and/or success?

They delivered and deployed the product ahead of time, which was a major achievement that allowed our agency to promote our technologies and skills.

How effective was the project management?

Their in-house project management really represents their professionalism and organization. We had access to their list of tasks and could share feedback or request changes throughout the project, which was helpful.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

I appreciated their comprehensive services and organized approach, as well as having a dedicated point of communication. Working with Vivirhub has been a pleasure, and we will certainly hire them again in the future. They really know what they are doing.

What tips or recommendations do you have?

They could improve their presence in fintech, as they're adding bitcoin and blockchain developers to their team. I would like to see them grow more in this Industry because they have the right potential.

My group is part of a larger organization with multiple operating companies. We are a leadership, hiring, and executive search firm operating in the mid- to senior-level hiring in India. We partner with multinational organizations in India and help them identify their soft-level management. I’m the founder.

What challenge were you trying to address with Vivirhub?

We didn't have any in-house development resources, so we reached out to them to create our website.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

We are a leadership hiring and executive search firm, so it was important to have a functional website. We wanted a corporate look and feel for clients so they would be comfortable with what we were doing, and it also needed to be a platform where candidates could go through advertised positions and create job folders. The site is built on WordPress.

The project was done in two parts, the first being design, which they came up with. The second part was more of an evolving project. Their build turned out differently than we'd thought, so we had to evolve and define the design. It took us a year to do so, and it was done in-house. We told them clearly what we wanted in terms of color, spacing, fonts, images, etc., and they implemented it.

What is the team dynamic?

I had one point of contact, who initially coordinated with everybody through me. When my team became involved in the project, we had access to their designers and developers. My team knew exactly what was going on and what to say to them, and they got the job done. There were 3 or 4 people on the team we had conversations with.

How did you come to work with Vivirhub?

I found them through a recommendation. I spoke to them about what we wanted to create. They were humble enough to understand the idea and gave us project deadlines.

How much have you invested with them?

The payment was done in three parts. We spent less than $10,000 in total.

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked with them from September 2016 to October 2017.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

It’s a functional website and benefits us with having the right sort of candidates whom we can speak with, enhancing the scope of the business in terms of the stakeholders, thus leading to direct revenue. We haven’t seen any immediate impact on revenue yet, however, because it’s just been a few weeks. I’m hoping this can be the sense of the business. As we scale up and become more global, that’s the best platform for us to utilize and speak with our stakeholders.

How did Vivirhub perform from a project management standpoint?

Our communication was through email or phone, and they got back to us within 48 to 72 hours. When we had an issue on the website or needed something done urgently, it helped that they were usually available. There was 1 person managing the project from the beginning, who aligned a few developers to work on the backend and frontend. They also had a project management tool that allowed us to update errors.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They delivered the project. What they said they would do, they did. Even if they didn’t know how to do something, they would find a solution. If they couldn't do something or there was no solution, they would communicate that to us. The fact that they stuck to their word was impressive.

Are there any areas they could improve?

They could've had better communication in terms of understanding what we wanted done. Their scope of knowledge in the recruitment domain was limited. If they had done more research , I’m sure they could've come up with better ideas to be implemented, which would've been a great help.
