Upgrade of existing audio-visual equipment in main conference room (including easy use for Teams and Zoom meetings) and selection/installation of equipment to display meeting schedule and meeting organizer at entrance of each room, as well as reserve room on the spot.

Virtuas was first class during the whole project. They started by setting up a planning meeting and the followed with some good options to address our requirements. They ordered the equipment and completed the installation as agreed. They communicated well regarding the status of the project the whole time.

It's hard to say. They have been an awesome partner for us during my 3+ years with the company. They communicated well and were always reliable.

I am an IT manager at an electrical manufacturing company.

What challenge were you trying to address with Virtuas?

While we have a small team working on helpdesk support, I contacted Virtuas to support the backend of our servers and virtual environment.  

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

First, they helped us overhaul our system by migrating information to our new hardware and updating our VMware.

Once everything was up to date, they took on the role of monitoring all of our servers and virtual environment. For example, if a switch fails or goes down, they let us know and provide a brief explanation, i.e. a power outage. Occasionally, they make suggestions and we discuss whether or not we should implement any changes.

What is the team composition?

The project has been supported by three people, including Ritesh (Founder & President, Virtuas), Wei-Ming (System Administrator, Virtuas), and Joey (IT Consultant, Virtuas).

How did you come to work with Virtuas?

I interviewed several vendors, but I thought that Virtuas’ attitude and workflow was really compatible with ours. Our personalities meshed well, and it has led to a great engagement.

How much have you invested with them?

We spend approximately, $10,000 per month with them.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in July 2018 and our work is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

I’m happy with the results of our engagement. We seriously consider the team’s suggestions when they offer advice because they are very professional.

How did Virtuas perform from a project management standpoint?

They respond quickly through email. Occasionally, we have meetings and they provide updates or propose changes.  

What did you find most impressive about them?

They’re straightforward and easygoing. Unlike other companies, they tell us what we need to know and don’t try to give us the runaround.

Virtuas replaced an in place managed IT provider. Virtuas moved our company to a new platform, upgraded outdated and obsolete software and made sure we had a proper backup solution in place.

IT issues have significantly reduced since Virtuas began managing our IT infrastructure.

Project leads were in constant communication and kept key personnel informed of any obstacles and/or delays to completing the project. The project delivered on time and was in line with needs and expectations.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

We interviewed a total of five potential providers during the search for a replacement managed IT company. Based on the initial interest meeting and a single tech overview meeting, the Virtuas team identified a number valid issues and clear priorities that the other vendors didn't see. Our impression was that the company leaders were truly knowledgeable in their field, and the on-site techs were responsive and cared about customer service.

We had a table that was producing duplicate keys in it that we needed to have removed.Virtuas created a new table that de-duped all historical records, established the proper keys on the table, and then cut us over to the new table.
