Wellnicity Wellness Portal
The supplement industry has a problem: few people know what supplements to take to treat their conditions, let alone how much to take, when to take it, or in what dosages. So to sell their premium quality supplements, health startup Wellnicity set out to overcome the supplement industry’s "what to take/how much to take/when to take" problem. Working with Wellnicity, Vertex solved this problem by creating a system that automatically combines lab test results with a patient’s interview answers to programmatically create a regimen, or schedule, for taking supplements.
The Wellnicity regimen makes it simple for a patient to take her or his daily vitamins – especially since Wellnicity provides those supplements in 4-week supplies of easy-to-use packets called Wellness Packs, clearly marked by date and time of day. No messing with bottles, powders, liquids, spoons, or measuring cups – you just tear off your daily packets from a 28-day dispenser box and take them, or take them with you for later.
Patients can easily subscribe to the service, and friends and family can join in on a single account - so busy moms and dads can manage their kids' supplements, as well as each others' and their own.
Designed as a responsive Web application, the portal can be managed as easily by mobile phone or tablet as by desktop computer, another boon for active people and their families.

Automating the Visa Application Process with Software from Vertex
Vertex recently completed a Web-based software application for automating the immigration visa application process for farm workers, allowing U.S. companies to more quickly and efficiently hire foreign workers for farm, construction, and other forms of manual labor.
The software application simplifies the H-2A filing process by collecting information on clients and workers in one place, and using that information to automate filings. Using role-based logic to direct users to the correct forms, the system lets attorneys as well as their clients use the portal to easily enter data, generate forms, and electronically sign documents. The editing and management of 790, I-129, 9142A and other forms is made easy and efficient by this application.
Further, the software application automates filling PDF forms from state and federal agencies with the information entered by clients and attorneys, and allows electronic form signing. The software then generates download packages with all required forms and documents for each individual filing.
The system tracks deadlines and progress with each individual filing. Each H-2A petition section functions as a checklist for which forms are completed. The application also sends automated email reminders about expiration dates and deadlines, helping attorneys keep track of their many deadlines and ensure filings are sent on time.

Synk App Combines Social Network, Scheduling Calendar to Let Users "Share the Time of Their Lives"
Synk debuted as the Internet's social calendar app in 2015. An app and social network that allows users to compare schedules, plan events, and share photos and comments about events, Synk created a new way for people to make the most of their shared time.
Vertex worked with Synk developers to help design and code the app and the backend database that powers Synk's social network. Vertex also helped create Synk's logo, Web site, and social media presence.

Dell Data Center Capacity Planner
Dell hired Vertex to create an easy-to-use data center configuration tool available to business customers through Dell.com. The Data Center Capacity Planner is a browser-based drag-and-drop tool that lets business users build and configure their data center server cabinets and racks graphically. Created for use by data center managers and network administrators alike, the Data Center Capacity Planner automatically calculates physical size, weight, power, and battery backup requirements, as well as many other important factors for a variety of devices, including servers, routers, switches, and uninterruptible power supplies. In addition to the browser-based tool, Vertex also created an offline, downloadable version of the Data Center Capacity Planner.

Biophysical Corporation Biosystem
Biophysical Corporation creates the world’s most sophisticated blood assessment, the Biophysical 250, which provides the single most comprehensive evaluation of an individual's health. The Biophysical measures the levels of 252 individual blood-based, allowing clinicians to identify a person's real and potential health conditions. The benefit to customers is an unprecedented wealth of information that they and their physicians can use to detect conditions earlier and make better decisions.
Biophysical hired Vertex to create a system that would allow partner clinics to co-brand their Biophysical 250 offering to their customers. This application, called the Biosystem, allows Biophysical users to create templates for individual clinics, and clinics to create access records for their own users and to create customer records for tracking the progress of their customers' biomarker analysis through the system and creating detailed, illustrated reports for customer physicians to analyze.
