Please describe your company and your position there.
I'm the co-founder and CEO of Integry - we provide Integrations for SaaS companies. You can design your workflows using our no-code visual builder, pick from any one of 200+ apps etc
For what projects/services did your company hire Venture Republic?
When we started our product, we wanted to work with a UI/UX firm that could help clarify our thinking and build out a user experience that would meet customer goals. We also needed our identity designed along with our online site/presence.
What were your goals for this project?
We wanted to help Product Managers and Engineers build and deploy automation We also wanted to communicate our product to customers.
How did you select Venture Republic?
We looked at the product-level work Venture Republic had done and it fit well with what we were looking for. They also gave us great original ideas in what we should be building. They also took very little design direction and generate great ideas.
Describe the project in detail.
We worked on v1 of our webapp with them. We started with user personas, goals, and the actual problem we wanted to solve. We shared low-fidelity mockups in Balsamiq with them on what we thought the app should do.
VR then shared their iteration of high-fidelity mockups, as well as entire revision of user, flows based on what they thought would be better for the users. For branding and identity, we shared what we wanted the logo to communicate and VR generated a number of ideas before we settled on the final.
VR designed and implemented the website and for our webapp, they created high fidelity mockups for our engineering.
What was the team composition?
We had a project manager POC along with designers, illustrators and animators. The website implementation was through Wordpress development.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
We have consistently received fantastic praise for our website and it has been listed in the top 5 B2B SaaS sites multiple times Our customers really love the low-friction design of the tools. This was our v1 so it was literally our go-to-market product. Since then it has helped us get customers, raise venture funding from the Valley.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
We were in constant contact with their team during the process and had high-bandwidth communication. Our medium of communication was emails, slack and video calls with screen sharing, white-boarding sessions.
They would always share minutes and action items after every meeting which would be trackable and viewable. What also helped was because this was a high-caliber team, we didn’t have to explain what we wanted in a lot of details.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
Their sound knowledge on UI/UX was the biggest advantage we felt we had as clients. Their process for user studies, deep knowledge of UX, and user-empathy were big pluses.
Are there any areas for improvement?
They’ve been flexible on pricing, delivery time frames, and in general how we engage. Any time the process slowed down it has been because we didn’t provide the required input etc. As such, any improvements we wanted in the process, deliverables were incorporated during the engagement itself and there’s no burning improvement much left to further improve.

UI/UX Design for Productivity Web App
"They had a lot of great, unsolicited product ideas, many of which we took."

Please describe your company and your position there.
I am CTO and co-founder of tika.ai. We have built a productivity web app that combines a calendar, with rich meeting note functionality, with a collaborative task list that integrates with project management solutions, to provide a single app for all workplace needs.
For what projects/services did your company hire Venture Republic?
We hired them to provide the UX/UI design for our website and our product.
What were your goals for this project?
Since we are a productivity solution, Tika needed to be incredibly easy to use, since we want our users to use it every day.
How did you select this vendor?
They were the designer for another company in the accelerator program (Alchemist) that we went through, and were referred by them.
Describe the project and the services they provided in detail.
They provided design services for most of our app (main page with calendar and task list, task edit form, meeting notes edit form), and our upcoming Chrome extension. Their work product consisted of pixel-perfect mocks uploaded to InVision. The look and feel of our product, as well as the user flow for different tasks, was designed by them.
What was the team composition?
We worked mostly with Khizar Hamid, the principal of the form. At times, he brought in 1 other designer to execute the mocks.
Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?
In our segment, productivity, where users touch the product multiple times per day and it has to be intuitive and habit-forming, UX design is critical. Before Khizar came in, we had a product, but the design didn't work and many users told us so. After the redesign, we receive unsolicited compliments on it. So Venture Republic's work was absolutely critical. The results exceeded our expectations.
How was project management arranged and how effective was it?
We used Slack and Skype for communication, and InVision for the work product. Venture Republic met all deadlines, so they were very effective.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
Khizar is a great communicator and really tries to understand what the customer needs. They had a lot of great, unsolicited product ideas, many of which we took. He's just a great partner if you're building a product.
Are there any areas for improvement?
It would have been good to get an estimate before work started, but the price was very reasonable so this isn't a big deal.

What were your goals for this project?
We wanted an improved UX of our existing mobile app and integrate some additional features into it.
How did you select Venture Republic?
We looked at the UX work Venture Republic had done and it fit well with what we were looking for. They seemed to have alot of experience in UI/UX design and they gave us great original ideas on how to improve the UX.
Describe the project in detail.
We started off with revising our branding with them. With the brand, type & color palette set, the visual design phase kicked off. Core user experiences were created quickly based on the understanding of various personas and emphasizing their needs. We were in constant touch with the project manager allocated to our project who would hop on a call with us at a moment's notice.
What was the team composition?
We had a project manager POC along with designers and illustrators.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
We have consistently received fantastic praise for our mobile app. Our customers really love the easy to navigate UX. We have had an increase in orders placed on the app.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
We were in constant contact with their team during the process. Our medium of communication were emails, slack & zoom calls. They would always share minutes of meetings and action items after meetings. Their team took on initiatives themselves and since they consisted of highly knowledgable inidividuals in their respective domains, we highly valued their direction.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
Their knowledge of UI/UX was a huge plus and their processes were strong. The biggest advantage we felt we had as clients were their grip on UX and how easily they could come up with solutions to our underlying UX problems.
Are there any areas for improvement?
They were flexible on pricing and delivered timely. We felt we got the best that we could have hoped for as clients. No complaints from our side.
Venture Republic delivered an effective UI/UX design for the client. The output has been well-received by the end-users and has been listed on multiple B2B SaaS sites. The team provided high-bandwidth communication throughout the engagement.
