Please describe your company and your position there.

The Filipino Channel, commonly known as TFC, is a 24-hour global subscription television network based in San Francisco, California.

It is owned and operated by the Filipino media conglomerate ABS-CBN Corporation based in Manila, Philippines. Its programming is composed primarily of imported programs from Filipino cable channel Kapamilya Channel and programs produced and distributed by ABS-CBN Entertainment (entertainment) and ABS-CBN News and Current Affairs (news and current affairs), while the ABS-CBN television network is currently inactive due to its shutdown.

TFC is available globally on direct-to-home satellite, cable, Internet Protocol television, online streaming, video on demand, and on other over-the-top content platforms. TFC is targeted at the Filipino diaspora becoming the world's first trans-Pacific Asian broadcaster. I am currently the Marketing Specialist for the OTT subscription business of the company and overseeing digital paid ads for the product.

For what projects/services did your company hire Veewz, and what were your goals?

We were promoting our OTT platform and content to a niche market. We would like to expand our reach especially to the untapped audience and see if we can attract more audiences to try our streaming platform when watching Filipino content.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

A big consideration is the budget and familiarity with our product and content. We have worked with Shan Serran in our company before and he knows the in's and out's of the company. They were well-versed and knew our market and how to target them.

We go over our KPIs for each campaign, budget, and which platform we would like to promote our product. Veewz will then send out a media plan which includes recommended ad spend, target market, etc. Once we approve, they implement as requested and send out performance reports once campaigns are concluded.

We worked with a Project Coordinator and a Project Manager.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

Our campaigns run by Veewz performed well. Although we don't have the actual conversions yet, you can see how these campaigns helped with our targets.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

We had weekly project updates and their team is in constant communication with us through email, Basecamp, and Viber.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They are very flexible and support our needs. They work within our budget and timelines.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

They could have done a competitive landscape but overall, they did a great job and delivered what was needed at the moment.

Please describe your company and your position there.

I'm part of the Global Marketing group of a content company in the Philippines. In 2021, I was assigned to handle all promotional efforts (concentrating on countries outside the Philippines) for our content that are available on YouTube.

For what projects/services did your company hire Veewz?

We needed an agency that has expertise on the LatAm region specifically on how to market content to them through paid digital ads. Our goal was to raise awareness on available content on YT which are very specific to the LatAm region.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

After scouting various agencies, we decided to choose Veewz taking into consideration their scope and the cost of their services.

After our briefing, they sent us a proposal which includes the working timeline, targeting, budget allocation, and the cost for the overall project. Veewz was very patient with us with all our comments and questions on their proposal.

We worked directly with the owner and CEO of Veewz plus two account managers who were on top of the requirements and were coordinating with the rest of the working teams.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

By the end of the campaign, we had a high CTR for both FB and YT placements. Our ads also received high number of saves for FB, something that we haven't really observed in the past. Bottomline, our campaign got the attention of our target market.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Workflow was effective between our team and Veewz. We had a weekly meeting to go over the ongoing campaign. They also provided a live view of the stats so we can quickly see how our campaign is going. Once the campaign has ended, a post-mortem report was also generated and presented by Veewz.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

I was personally impressed with the results of our campaign. I haven't seen that level of engagement for a paid campaign before. Veewz was able to help us tap a market that we haven't explored before. Apart from this, I was impressed with the amount of focus they allotted for our campaign. I can feel that the team was concentrating on the needs of our project.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

As Veewz was also handling a different account from our company, they ran the campaign using a different persona. However, this was immediately addressed as soon we advised the team regarding the correct persona.

I’m the marketing manager for movie marketing events and communities for ABS-CBN, a Filipino TV network.

What challenge were you trying to address with Veewz?

We needed someone to help us with SEO, PPC, and digital marketing.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Since our marketing team has dissolved, Veewz has been helping us with our digital strategies and most recently, an iTunes relaunch project. They present us with ideas and recommendations on what to do with our website and are helping us implement YouTube pre-roll ads.

They’re essentially our digital marketing team producing and optimizing our digital content.

What is the team composition?

We’re mainly in contact with four people from Veewz, including the project manager and the founders.

How did you come to work with Veewz?

They were recommended to us by a friend who previously had a working relationship with them.

How much have you invested with them?

For this project, we’ve invested more than $20,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

Our ongoing partnership started in March 2021.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Thanks to Veewz, we’ve garnered as much as 800,000 impressions online and drove a 10% increase in unique users through our website. Our sales are also up by 50% in our iTunes transactions and revenues.

How did Veewz perform from a project management standpoint?

They adjust their communication style depending on their client, and are very transparent when it comes to project management, progress reporting, and budgeting.

We use Google Meet and Basecamp to communicate and manage the project.

What did you find most impressive about them?

What I love about working with Veewz is their openness and responsiveness to communication — whenever I need something clarified urgently, they’ll reply to me right away.

Apart from that, they’re very empathic and they tend to put themselves in our shoes to fully understand our needs, so I really feel their care for our goals as a company.

Are there any areas they could improve?

Their work is great, but their process needs a little more fine-tuning and they need to incorporate a more user-friendly project management tool for clients who aren’t necessarily tech-savvy.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

I would advise clearly stating your goals and objectives as an organization — analyzing everything before taking action.

For what projects/services did your company hire Veewz, and what were your goals?

Website was undergoing a "refresh" after the pandemic (not a total redesign), adding areas such as online payment, scheduling, as well as teledentistry & updated COVID guidelines. Hired Veewz to organically increase our web presence and drive potential customers to our site if they were looking for a dentist.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

Had worked with Shan, the CEO of Veewz, while he was working for another company for online marketing/SEO/customer service solutions.

Their goal was to organically increase web presence across several search engines locally, and this was able to be monitored using the Google analytics webpage. Code was embedded into several key pages within my website that we chose to focus on, and we chose specific zip codes that I wanted my page to feature more pertinently on (for local searches).

Shan worked as my point of contact, and I worked with 3-4 other account managers for specific areas (website optimization, keywords, setting up/maintaining Google analytics, meta tags)

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

After about 4-6 months, I saw an increase in my page's display on certain search terms. The real results were apparent when our office would ask new patients how they found us, almost half would answer they just web searched "dentist in my area" & our name would be one of the first on the list. That takes the perspective patient thru a rabbit hole of our website, positive reviews on several rating sites, testimonials, and the patient is convinced enough to give us a call.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Between internet calls, team communication via Basecamp, and exchanging emails, everything was very efficient in terms of workflow or if adjustments needed to be made.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

We were very impressed by the thoroughness and quality of service provided by Veewz.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Sometimes there were internet/SEO terms they would refer to that I was not familiar with that I would have to research for myself or just ask what it meant, but overall very pleased.
