We make digital transformation happen

We make your life easier. Our philosophy is to provide you with what is best in the market instead of reinventing the wheel and making you invest in development hours that will quickly become obsolete. We deliver nice, efficient, and practical solutions empowering you. We make sure to optimize what you see as much as what you cannot see.

We are the glue that holds all your digital components together. No SEM agency is good without proper internal directions, no SEO is good without the right site experience, no marketing campaign is efficient if not omnichannel, no development makes sense without marketing goals, no consulting is good if it does not know the impact on the operations, no technology can be recommended without knowing the goals and limitations of the organization, no strategy can be developed without the data, no AI solution gives good results without right input. We bring it all together. We help you lead all the digital pillars but can also help in the execution as a one-stop-shop for your business. It is rare to find all this expertise under one roof but we believe that it is the only way to win in digital.

Feedback summary:

The team produced the first e-commerce website for the school, and feedback has been nothing but positive. The brand identity was upheld in the build, and they integrated an intuitive UX. Through regular communication through email, project management was conducted seamlessly.

A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.

BACKGROUND

Introduce your business and what you do there.

We’re an independent school, and I’m the school purchasing agent as well as campus store merchandising manager.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What challenge were you trying to address with VDInnovation?

We were a brick and mortar store and wanted to expand our services online.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

They helped us with e-commerce development, also incorporating products from other school departments into the store. The shop was created in Shopify, and they integrated it with our existing POS system. We were somewhat limited in our technology selection because of that, but they worked around that requirement. In our continued collaboration, she adds groups and products to the site, tweaking aspects as needed.

What is the team composition?

We worked with one person throughout the process.

How did you come to work with VDInnovation?

Our engineering department allows students to conceptualize and fabricate products. The son of the owner of the company was in this engineering class, so they reached out to me.

What is the status of this engagement?

We’ve been working with her since mid-2019.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The feedback was phenomenal. Results were particularly impressive because this was our first website, so we were developing our online presence from scratch. We haven’t experienced issues, but it represents the school well and offers a strong UX.

How did VDInnovation perform from a project management standpoint?

We communicated with email, which worked well for this relatively quick project.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They’re highly skilled, talented professionals.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, I don’t have anything negative to say about them.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Think through the complete scope of the project. Our project evolved along the way, which can add to the cost of developments. Once they understand your goals, they’re better able to offer their services and additional functionality strategically.
