I am the owner of a digital marketing agency.

I use V2 Web Solutions for complex, custom, web design and development projects. We have a wide range of clients with different needs, and needed a partner like V2 who could handle whatever we threw at them.

Outstanding communication and availability, plus a high skill level for our requirements.

We have had dozens of website projects V2 helped with, including a custom legal website that had numerous custom post types, each needing to be displayed in different ways on the front-end. We had a start-up e-comm project that required customized Shopify work. We've had medical, dental, home services, and artist sites that V2 helped us customize for our clients. They also help with all of our own internal web projects.

We typically work with 1-2 people from the V2 team per project.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

Lots of happy clients. The legal site mentioned above went from 700 visits per month to over 12,000 after V2 helped build their new website. The e-comm startup went from zero traffic and customers to a valuation of 30M within 9 months of V2 helping us get them launched.

We communicate through Skype and Basecamp primarily. They respond quickly and are always ready to help. It's been amazing.

I was impressed with their fast, professional communication, plus they genuinely cared about the work they do for us and our clients.

I’m the co-founder and president of Wojo Design, a web development and design agency.

What challenge were you trying to address with V2 Web Solutions?

We needed help with the development side of our business.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

V2 Web Solutions supports some of our web development projects. Basically, we bring them in whenever we need to expand our development team to work on some of our projects.

For these projects, we’re in charge of the design work. Once we get into the development stage, I reach out to V2 Web Solutions and provide them with the details. Then, we discuss how long it would take them to develop the site, figure out the budget, and discuss the best platform to develop the site on.

After that, we work closely with V2 Web Solutions throughout the development process. Every now and then, they help us with some web design, but they primarily focus on web development. Once they deliver the site, they support us through the launching stage so that our end clients can review it.

As for the technology stack, most of the sites we develop are based on PHP and MySQL, and we usually use WordPress as CMS. Still, we’ve also done a number of projects using Craft CMS, ExpressionEngine, and Strapi, which is another headless CMS based on Node.js. Additionally, we’ve done various custom development work for other projects. For example, we’ve worked together on a few .NET projects.

What is the team composition?

Hastimal (Founder) is our main point of contact from V2 Web Solutions, but we’ve also worked with three other members of their team.

How did you come to work with V2 Web Solutions?

I read about V2 Web Solutions long ago when I was looking for a freelance developer on Google.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together around January 2010, and our engagement is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

Our main success metric is having happy clients. Thanks to V2 Web Solutions’ support, we’ve launched various projects where our clients have told us they’ve seen more traffic on their sites. We’ve done numerous projects with them, and we keep coming back to them because we’ve had great results and happy clients. Moreover, their team always delivers quality code.

How did V2 Web Solutions perform from a project management standpoint?

V2 Web Solutions delivers on time and are really helpful when it comes to handling time constraints. Oftentimes, we reach out to them when we have urgent timelines, and they always help us meet the deadlines.

In addition to their quick turnaround times, their team is also very responsive and keeps things moving quickly. We keep regular communication with them, and they always respond quickly, whether it is day or night.

Our project management tools have changed over the years. For example, we used to communicate via Skype, but recently, we started using ClickUp for project management and Slack for communication.

What did you find most impressive about them?

As mentioned above, V2 Web Solutions’ quick turnaround times are impressive. One time, they delivered an entire complex website within a week. The way they pull resources into projects to ensure they get done is excellent.

Are there any areas they could improve?

Over the years, we’ve had a very positive relationship with V2 Web Solutions. I can only advise them to continue improving the technologies we use as those evolve and remain on top of new technologies.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Openly communicate your needs and timelines so that they can get up to speed quickly; they have realistic ideas of what is effective to get projects done.
