Open Philo
OpenPhilo project is aiming to create a modern digital environment helping the study of Buddhist sūtra literature, with the goal to overcome the limitations of traditional paper editions.
The interface enables users to import as many documents into one workspace as it is needed. The whole interface looks like an approachable desktop app, but in reality is a working web app. We wanted to keep the safe environment of a desktop text editor, but adding upon all the modern functionalities including sharing and working in real time.
Application created for Leiden University in the Netherlands.

Farm Assist

Wubble is a platform that allows you to organize your time from anywhere in the world. Adding individual tasks allows you to organize your schedule. The platform also enables you to store files and create activity reports.
The design process focused on creating a simple and very convenient interface that would allow users to quickly edit the calendar. Our assumption was to make the platform look as uncomplicated as possible, so that the user's eyesight would focus mainly on the calendar and the duties he/she writes in it.

Please describe your company and your position there.
The company delivers a digital platform for retail stores in Poland mplatform.com.pl I am board member EVP responsible for strategy As part of that role I was responsible for creating a new service for our clients - a consumer mobile app hopshop.pl
For what projects/services did your company hire UX GIRL?
We had no in-house skills for UX/UI design which was required to design our mobile app so we hired UX Girl
How did you select this vendor?
UX Girl provided us with full end to end UX/UI design and process flow advisory, from scratch. 100% of UX/UI that you can see in the app today was designed by UX Girl
Describe the project in detail and walk through the stages of the project.
Project is still going on. It started with a simple app that enabled click & collect service for our clients (over 10.000 small independent grocery stores across all Poland) Subsequently we added many more features to the app (store locator, map, shopping lists, promotions catalogue, avdanced loyalty program with collection of points and coupons, customisable communications module for sending push messages to consumer, shopping history with electronic copies of purchase receipts, new promotion creator, and many more) We work in Agile/scrum methodology. Nearly every month we have a production release with new features delivered for our app users.
How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
Most of the time we worked with 1 senior UX/UI designer and 1 junior UX/UI designer. Occasionally at peak times during very complex releases we had and hoc extra 1-2 junior designers
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
Fantastic app. You can find it on hopshop.pl and download it from Google Play or AppStore. The customers are very satisfied We have close to 10.000 groceries using the app
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
Very effective. Daily scrums, fortnightly sprints. In a mixed te including UX Girl staff, our own team, our core system provider (external company responsible for coding of our mobile app and backend system) and occasionally also other external IT providers (including 2 providers of complex fiscal device hardware that is integrated with our app). The workflow between the teams works perfectly smooth.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
They had solid UX/UI skills, very creative designs, fast reaction time, and high-quality deliverables. (eg. The designs were always clear and well documented so we could pass it directly to our external programmer teams) And on top of the above UX Girl provided a very good process flow advisory, challenging our ideas to make the final process designs always easier from the UX/CX perspective.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
Can't think of anything to improve. All the work is really top notch

I'm a Engineering Leader of Vived (vived.io) content curation and career development application for IT Specialists
For what projects/services did your company hire UX GIRL?
We were looking for a subcontractor who would be able to help us with the design of the Desktop version of a mobile app we are developing to curate content for IT professionals - vived.io
How did you select this vendor?
We had contact with several agencies and based on the portfolio and conversations with representatives we decided to work with UX Girl.
Describe the project in detail and walk through the stages of the project.
We prepared an initial brief, in which we evaluated the business goals and the scope of desktop functionality. Based on these materials, UX Girl prepared a base user flow, which was then tested by our UX Researcher. User feedback was incorporated, and UX Girl prepared high-fidelity designs. We met three times a week in the form of 15-minute standup meetings and additional weekly meetings with demos of specific milestones.
How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
Two people - UX/UI Designer and Lead Designer.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
desktop.vived.io, currently under development by Vived's Dev Team.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
We had fixed, established meetings + a shared Slack channel. Work was done on Figma, where we commented on specific functionality on an ongoing basis. The whole process went very smoothly, UX Girl representatives were very communicative and helpful.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
We were impressed by their proactivity in proposing UX solutions + strong ownership over the project, even after the contract ends.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
We underestimated the number of topics to consult on design and some standups dragged - 15 minutes was too short.

I'm Managing Director of ExplainVisually, which helps companies communicate in a simple, concise way.
For what projects/services did your company hire UX GIRL?
We've worked on a website & explainer video for our client that offered crypto accounting software. We needed some help with planning the UX of the website, so we reached out to UX Girls as they had experience in crypto-related projects. They conducted interviews with the client and prepared the wireframes.
How did you select this vendor?
One of my friends, a very experienced UX Designer, recommended UX Girls. When I learned that they have experience in crypto-related projects, I knew it would be a good choice.
Describe the project in detail and walk through the stages of the project.
They met with the client, us, and our web designers to work out the website's goals and plan. Then they prepared the wireframes in Figma that we discussed in this working group. They implemented the feedback v. fast, so the whole project went smoothly.
How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
We worked with 2 UX Designers.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
The client is v. happy with the website, and thanks to the well-prepared UX plan, we were able to deliver it on time.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
We communicated almost daily, and the whole process was v. smooth. We were immediately informed about any setbacks that we had to cope with on the way.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
They were attentive to all the details and worked hard to align all the stakeholders. As the website projects can get messy, this attitude of UX Girls was constructive.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
No

I am the CEO of Foodwiser.ai and take care of the product and marketing area.
For what projects/services did your company hire UX GIRL?
We needed a design for a brand new application for a marketplace that is allowing users to share recipes based on which we fully automated and personalized processes for our customers.
How did you select this vendor?
Based on a friend's recommendation.
Describe the project in detail and walk through the stages of the project.
We prepared low-fidelity mock-ups for the UX process before our first meeting. It was much easier to explain exactly what is our goal and what we needed to prepare. We quickly found common grounds and understanding what is the purpose of the project
How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
My team worked directly with a UI designer and the CEO of the company.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
We were pleased with their work completely and we could continue to work with them in the future. This is the result that you are looking for for the UI/UX agency.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
It was pretty easy to communicate with the CEO of the company without any issue knowing the process of our work.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
The most impressive was that with this lack of knowledge and materials, they prepared mock-ups that needed only one review. Overall effect fulfilled our needs.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
I would say involve customers slightly deeper into the project for the most important stages.

I am a marketing coordinator in a packaging company.
For what projects/services did your company hire UX GIRL?
We needed to create an UX map for a new website. The task wasn't easy as we've been in a process of rebranding and finding our new voice.
How did you select this vendor?
It was recommended to us by their previous customer.
Describe the project in detail and walk through the stages of the project.
The cooperation was very professional. We started from the workshops during which the most important directions were defined. It was a basis for the next steps. UX Girl did a magnificent job to create a complex, yet very user friendly map, that completely met our expectations.
How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
We had a contact with 2 - the owner and the project manager.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
The map solved our previous problems - how to create a website that is both user friendly and showing our offer. UXGirl created the map that is easy to modify in the future.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
It was very good. They responded really quickly. Sometimes the discussions were so passionate that we exceeded the time of the meeting.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
We had no trouble with communication. They are really customer-oriented. They had great ideas and were very insightful.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
I cannot think of any such thing.
Customers were satisfied with the application by the UX GIRL team. As a result, around 10,000 groceries were already recorded. They demonstrated an effective and smooth workflow. Their designs were clear, and the work was well-documented. Overall, the services were delivered with high quality.
