Cartoonbase is a creative agency. I'm the project and account manager at Cartoonbase and responsible for the wellbeing of our existing clients, and together with the rest of the account team on getting new business.
For what projects/services did your company hire User Growth?
We’re a small agency that always had our clients come to us via word of mouth and we hired User Growth to help us increase our organic traffic from Google and help set up our cold emailing strategy to attract new clients.
What were your goals for this project?
To have more organic traffic, more online visibility, and more leads.
How did you select User Growth?
We found them by doing some online research into businesses that could help companies like us get better organic rankings and more traffic to our website. We like their approach: that they looked further than just some keyword research but also helped set up landing pages, implemented an entire tracking plan, and assisted in making our cold email outreach more efficient.

The moment they arrived, they started to audit our entire process, the tools we used, our website, etc. That resulted in some immediate quick wins as, besides Google Analytics, we were not tracking any of our marketing campaigns on our website. They’ve created and implemented a custom tracking plan so that all the work that they were going to was measurable, and they could be held accountable.
They then came up with a strategy, consisting of implementing a better structure on our website so our website would make more sense not just for our visitors but also for Google. They designed and created specific landing pages that would assist us with our cold emailing campaigns and helped us create the first sets of content for our blog.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
Since we started to work together, we’ve seen a 150% increase in website traffic, and we slowly begin to rank for more than just branded keywords. Our websites had many issues, but they were technical enough to discover them all, brief our developer and follow-up with him to get them fixed.
I think all the changes currently implemented will definitely have a longer-term effect for which we will start to see even more results in the coming months. Next to that, their thinking of building specific landing pages was something we did not think off before but is really paying off as well in creating better-targeted audiences for our ads.
With the help of User Growth, we also managed to set up a regular automated email campaign, which we can continue to use ourselves.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
Every week we would have update calls or meetings to discuss progress and the steps to be taken in the coming week. On top of that, they create a template for monthly reporting so we can track the overall goals and how we’re improving.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
They’re super personal. We can call them anytime we have a question or want to change something. They’re continuously responding to our emails or other forms of communication and were really great in not just delivering the solution but also training our staff internally so we could learn from them and start to implement certain tactics better ourselves in the future.

I'm the GM of an advertising agency, we've been doing successful work for a variety of clients over the last couple of years. Sometimes when we run short on staff or need certain expertise that we don't have in-house we are looking for the best and brightest to help deliver results to our clients.

They set up the AdWords and Facebook campaigns and managed them. Gave tips on how to improve the customer's landing pages, continued testing and refined the processes.

The goal of the client was simple: * Bring in leads at a lower cost of conversion. The client had experience with media buying agencies before but we're never that profitable.
