I'm the head of talent at WeAreBrain. We're a software development company.
What challenge were you trying to address with UPPeople?
We hired them to help us with staff recruitment.
What was the scope of their involvement?
They provided us with HR and recruiting services and we've successfully hired three people with their help.
What is the team composition?
We have hired two Ruby engineers and one DevOps engineer. As of now, we have one vacancy for a frontend engineer, and they are also helping us find the right person.
How did you come to work with UPPeople?
I have known them for six years. We worked together in the past when I needed to hire staff.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working together for this project in August 2019, and we are still collaborating with them.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Our benchmark is only that we successfully hired people. We don’t have other metrics. They've always provided us with qualified candidates that are relevant to our requirements.
How did UPPeople perform from a project management standpoint?
They always provide us with answers in a short amount of time. I never have to wait long, and they're good at collaborating.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They provide me with people that I really need. Their team listens carefully to all the requirements and analyzes those requirements. If something goes wrong, they always track it and try to find the best solution.
Are there any areas they could improve?
I don’t think there is anything they could improve on because their work has been good.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
From the beginning, carefully discuss all the requirements and provide information to UPPeople in order to fully succeed with them. They are always ready to listen and analyze all your requirements.

We provided the requirements for the candidate, the manager created a chat to clarify the details and sent the CV for consideration. If the candidate was suitable, an interview and support of communication with the candidate were organized before the offer was accepted.
What was the team composition?
A chat was created, communication took place directly with recruiters, CVs were sent to e-mail with a detailed description of the candidate. Clarifications and test tasks were also transmitted via chat by recruiters. Convenient and efficient.
Can you share any outcomes from the engagement that demonstrate progress or success?
Interaction with UPPeople has greatly accelerated the search for a worthy candidate with the narrow-profile technical skills we need. Recruiters filtered candidates with the level we needed and, delving into the details of candidate selection, sent constructive strong CVs.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
The process was efficient, there were many candidates, we could choose the most suitable one. Many worthy CVs were provided in a short time.
Recruiters promptly gave feedback, did not allow candidates who had doubts or thoughts to be overlooked, so we could compare and weigh all the points, choose the most suitable person for our team. Communication was comfortable and easy.
