Unlock Commerce was asked to to modify our SCA PDP to display specific information from the NetSuite UI while adhering to specific branding guidelines. It was important to utilize existing custom fields and simplify the customization as our business objectives constantly evolve. 

Additionally, we required modifications during the Web Store checkout process so that customers where aware of additional fees that would be applied to their sales orders after checkout. The Native Filtering on our SCA site was not functioning as expected, Unlock Commerce was tasked with researching the problem and defining a solution.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The SOW provided for all requested cases/tasks gave us a clear, well-defined understanding of what would be accomplished. The UnlockCommerce team is extremely knowledgeable of SCA and the NetSuite UI which allowed them to provide insight into potential issues that would have been overlooked.

All projects were delivered on-time or sooner than the estimated completion date. The communication was constant and adapted to fit our business needs. Our Project Manager, Jessica, was available whenever we needed and was more than accommodating for virtual meetings. Additionally, all email communication was very thorough and well-written reducing the number of virtual meetings required.

Unlock Commerce was started by one of the creators of SCA. This in-turn provided great insight into how the software functions and communicates with the UI. All of the team members, including our Project Manager, had a great understanding of NetSuite and SCA.

If there was a way to call our Unlock Commerce Team rather than email that would have been helpful if any time sensitive issues arose.

We have been working with UnlockCommerce since mid-June and they have helped with adding custom fields to our NetSuite Suite Commerce Advanced Platform to aid in a better user experience, reduce duplicate content, and add simple, but effective styling changes to the site. 

Unlock has also helped Burch Bottle with a major issue in their shopping cart that prevented some buyers from being able to make a purchase, which has been an enormous benefit. Unlock has also consulted on SEO and provided an SEO Health Check with recommendations for improving the website's load speed, crawlability, and more.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The troubleshooting of the shopping cart error and fix immediately slowed down customers complaining that they could not check out. The shopping cart bounce rate dramatically reduced. For some of the custom field changes, when a unique text box was added on the category pages, and added content was added, search rankings for some of the top keywords significantly moved up which provided more website visibility. 

When this field was added, it also removed some of the duplicate content also found on those category products.

Yes, projects have been delivered within a reasonable time frame. Response to our needs has been excellent, especially with the emergency shopping cart issue.

Communication is exceptional with Tamara, our Project Manager. They are very responsive and organized. All requests and responses to requests are thoughtfully quoted before any work has been done and everyone on the team is warm, friendly and they genuinely care. Explanations of what has been done and what will be done in the scope of the project are all laid out clearly as well so there are no surprises.
