StifleR - Know Your Network
StifleR understands and protects all types of networks so that you can deliver any type of software deployment to your end users without compromising on the timings or location of content delivery. Works alongside Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager, Intune, and almost any other EMS solution out there.
StifleR Server
Built on the swift Microsoft SignalR messaging platform. Monitors download requests, ensures download and P2P efficiency no matter what the location. StifleR client configuration is controlled dynamically. Bandwidth usage, download priority and historical usage is then reported back to the server in near real-time.
StifleR Client
The StifleR agent monitors and reports on the content download queue state, and responds to commands from the StifleR Server. It can pause, bandwidth-throttle, stop, cancel, or re-prioritize any content download in real-time in response to the StifleR server. Works even if on VPN, public WiFi, home broadband etc.
StifleR Dashboard
StifleR can give you real-time stats on all your current downloads, enabling you to see at-a-glance just how things are progressing. This allows you to make decisions based on what’s actually going on in your network right now. New historical reporting lets you analyze past results.

A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I am the CEO of PortalFuse.
What challenge were you trying to address with UNECOS SOLUTIONS?
We're building an application to manage Office 365 functionalities for our customers, so we contracted UNECOS SOLUTIONS to put together a product we could go to market with.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Before the project began, we developed a product prototype and generated several mockups for UNECOS SOLUTIONS to use when sketching out development sprints using Jira. Their team helped populate Jira with appropriate work tasks and fixed bugs as we identified them. UNECOS SOLUTIONS also conducted some architecture research to determine our APIs capabilities. They then took the lead on application architecture development.
Since the architecture's finalization, UNECOS SOLUTIONS has been working on app development. The app's backend is in SQL, but because the Microsoft Graph API we use doesn't perform well, UNECOS SOLUTIONS has developed a web frontend that interacts with Office 365.
The current version of the app simplifies many management tasks for administrative staff — we're adding value to customers who are using Microsoft 365 to manage their Windows and non-Windows devices. Now, UNECOS SOLUTIONS' team is conducting maintenance and continuing development to stabilize the product and add new features.
What is the team composition?
I work directly with the app architect from UNECOS SOLUTIONS, but I'm not sure how large their background team is.
How did you come to work with UNECOS SOLUTIONS?
I had a contact in Calgary who'd developed an application with UNECOS SOLUTIONS. However, I'd met several people in the Latvian IT industry before that, which started my connection with UNECOS SOLUTIONS and gave me insight into their work.
How much have you invested with them?
I’ve invested around $70,000 CAD ($55,000 USD) with UNECOS SOLUTIONS.
What is the status of this engagement?
Our engagement with UNECOS SOLUTIONS began in February 2019, and it's ongoing.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
I don't have any specific success metrics about the product, but UNECOS SOLUTIONS has delivered on time, which I haven't experienced on other corporate software development projects. Their team is easy to work with and plan development for — they deliver what we need.
How did UNECOS SOLUTIONS perform from a project management standpoint?
UNECOS SOLUTIONS' project management is excellent — we use Jira to collaborate with the development team, and they address bug fixes quickly. Most of our communication is done through email because we're in different time zones.
What did you find most impressive about them?
UNECOS SOLUTIONS' internal project management and ability to stick to budget and timelines are excellent. They've been great at delivering what we need, even when we present them with challenging problems — if something doesn't work, they'll clearly explain why to us.
Are there any areas they could improve?
I don't have anything specific for UNECOS SOLUTIONS to improve.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
I'd advise customers to have clear mockups and designs before beginning a partnership with UNECOS SOLUTIONS.

Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the CEO of an ISV company that develops bespoke software for large enterprise customers. Specifically, we provide network management and peer-to-peer technologies for large companies to give them visibility of their networking infrastructure.
What challenge were you trying to address with UNECOS SOLUTIONS?
We needed a technology partner to take our defined approach and run with it themselves without a lot of explanation.
What was the scope of their involvement?
They ran a Docker container with a .NET core of a pre-existing codebase. They needed to improve the existing codebase and make sure it could run in a container for ARM64.
What is the team composition?
We worked with 2–4 developers from their team.
How did you come to work with UNECOS SOLUTIONS?
They were recommended by an old colleague of mine who used to work with the CEO.
How much have you invested with them?
We spent around $50,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working together in September 2020, and we wrapped up in December 2020.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
We’re still prototyping, currently. The code is successfully running on their hardware, which is what we set out to do. They were definitely successful from a delivery and code perspective. The same code will be used for other parts of our stack. We were extremely satisfied with the quality.
How did UNECOS SOLUTIONS perform from a project management standpoint?
They did extremely well. It helps that we knew what we wanted and we were able to explain that in a straightforward way.
What did you find most impressive about them?
We were able to explain to them what we wanted in a pretty short amount of time. When they didn’t understand, they were great about asking questions.
Are there any areas they could improve?
No, we were pretty satisfied with the result.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
My advice is to have firm requirements and trust them with the technical execution.

We have worked with them previously and we knew that they will deliver quality.

The final result was fantastic. Throughout the project their Project Manager was coming up with great solutions and ideas that fitted in perfectly.
Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timelines.
We had a daily communication where everyone could see the update of the project as well as ask questions and give suggestions. Once a week we had a call with updates. Project was delivered before deadline which was greatly appreciated.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
The communication. I think that was the key as it was a daily communication which let us resolve issues or answer questions quick so developers can focus on the project. Also the quality of the final work was fantastic.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
Everything was smooth and professional so there is nothing I would change.

Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the director of UonCloud.
What challenge were you trying to address with UNECOS SOLUTIONS?
We needed a development company to build solutions for us. We were looking for services outside of North America.
What was the scope of their involvement?
We were building two solutions. One of them is a cloud-based solution, built on Azure, to provide support to end-user devices. It was a cloud-based system for real-time device management. We didn’t have any technology preferences, just the requirements for the development and what we wanted to accomplish.
The team used .NET, HTML, and .NET Core. They worked on the frontend and backend.
What is the team composition?
We worked with 4–5 people, including the project manager and developers. I also had contact with their director and testing group. The testing group verified all of the functionalities.
How did you come to work with UNECOS SOLUTIONS?
We wanted to look for a European company because of time zones and cost. I received a recommendation that UNECOS SOLUTIONS did development work. We also interviewed different companies in regards to requirements. Their team was the most suitable and affordable, and it also seemed that they would deliver the best quality.
How much have you invested with them?
We’ve spent around $15,000–$20,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
We worked together from December 2019–April 2020.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
The solutions are built and delivered. Whatever we asked for, their team delivered through cost, time, and support. We’re optimistic about future phases, depending on if we can get more clients onboarded.
I’ve worked with other companies, and have had unsuccessful projects. That’s why we were looking for a company like UNECOS SOLUTIONS. I’ve also recommended them to other friends of mine.
My expectations were achieved, and we’re happy with what they delivered. We’re excited to work with them in the future. We’re now talking with them about the next steps and phases.
How did UNECOS SOLUTIONS perform from a project management standpoint?
From a project management standpoint, they were great. Their team managed everything, and we never had to worry about escalations or timelines. They were very flexible to our needs. If we had change requests or ideas for adjustments, their team accommodated us perfectly.
We had a system that was our main point of communication. We could track all of the work through that. Besides that, we used Microsoft Teams. If we needed to reach out to them, they were available.
What did you find most impressive about them?
I would say their flexibility and quality. We had previous experiences with companies that couldn’t make changes, but UNECOS SOLUTIONS was very flexible in that regard.
As for quality, we always received what we needed and asked for. They sometimes went above and beyond in different areas, coming up with ideas that we didn’t think of. Their team was also very professional.
Are there any areas they could improve?
I don’t think there is anything. We want to work with them on the next steps, so we will see how it goes in the future.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
If you start building something, you should know what you’re doing or your end goal. We knew what we wanted because of previous experiences. We specified all of our requirements to UNECOS SOLUTIONS, and they even helped us with structuring all of them.
UNECOS SOLUTIONS stick to deadlines and budgets, making it easy for the client to work and schedule sprints with them. The project is managed well, and UNECOS SOLUTIONS quickly addresses bugs. They can deliver on the challenging issues the client faces and communicate their limitations clearly.
