I’m the founder of ZRK. We have a platform that connects customers with artisans from Ukraine.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What challenge were you trying to address with Ukiepro?

We had an idea but we had an old website. We were looking for someone that could help us with developing a new platform. 

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

They helped us with the design and functionality of our website. We had previously been working for free to create a database of clients. Ukiepro rewrote the entire website, connecting it to a payment processor through a regular bank program.  Sellers pay for their space to showcase their products in our marketplace, and our clients can pay with their credit cards to purchase products.

What is the team composition?

We worked with four people from their team including a web designer and a lead programmer.

How did you come to work with Ukiepro?

We were looking for a team to help us and Ukiepro was recommended by a friend. We got in touch through email and began with a small task. We fell in love with the idea of what our website would look like if we worked with them.

What is the status of this engagement?

They worked on the project from 2015–2016. Ukiepro has also done some additional changes since then.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The amount of money we’ve made since being able to accept credit cards on the platform doubled thanks to Ukiepro’s work.

How did Ukiepro perform from a project management standpoint?

They performed well. Ukiepro delivered what they said they would do regardless of the fact that we asked them to change things and some timelines were moved.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Ukiepro is very professional. I like to work with people that know what they’re doing.

Are there any areas they could improve?

As founders, we know what is best for us but it’s complicated and difficult to get across exactly what we want. Ukiepro made suggestions based on what we told them.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Before starting a project, clients need to be clear about what they want from the company they’re working with when it comes to technical tasks. Otherwise, it can be a longer process than anticipated.
