What specific goals or objectives did you hire U1CORE to accomplish? Our project kickstarted with a decent team of web developers and project managers, but what we lacked were design skills. That’s where U1CORE came in. We wanted them to take the lead on our site's shiny and responsive design — then, eventually, a mobile app. And here is details of how that partnership worked out. We had the technical know-how to execute a project but lacked the creative vision to differentiate our platform. We needed an expert or a group of experts that could create an esthetic and easy-to-use user interface, keeping the UX responsive across all devices.

U1CORE came on board for the UI/UX design of our responsive website (in Figma). We provided a couple of references to get them going and user personas with their back stories. The team then jumped in to put together brand guidelines around a simple colour palette we gave them. They did all the tweaking — right from typefaces and final colors to arrangements of elements and logos.
U1CORE took it step further by taking not just the baseline requirements for a design package tailored to our development capabilities, but our lofty goals and delivered. They designed a mock-up for one page of the site while also making sure that this design could expand to other pages and platforms. An MVP iteration of the site was created, and it functioned beautifully on mobile as well, with new forays into mobile app design also in the planning stages.
It wasn't just about the visuals, however. User personas created by U1CORE provided great insights into the ways we expected different users to engage with our platform.
RESULTS & FEEDBACK
What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
From the start, U1CORE overwhlemed us with delivery. The designs were not simply nice to look at, the layouts made so much sense to our team. We had to change very little in their mock-ups due to a great instinct of what we wanted.

We were really impressed with how seamless it all was. U1CORE provided us with choices at the front end, and they were quick to adapt to new modifications when we seamlessly merged aspects from different concepts. This speaks volumes about how they understood our vision because the entire team was on board with the end result. U1CORE really shone on the project management side of things. They not only hit every deadline, but they also hit or exceeded expectations. Meetings started and ended on time — no senseless trotting up of minutes to fill in the agenda. For example, a four-hour meeting took only two because they didn't require more information to proceed.

The most prominent aspects of U1CORE were its honesty and efficiency. They held the process and deadlines to a minimum, padded nothing. They adjust the budget and save us money faster than expected. Nobody in today’s market is that transparent.
Their ability to meet our individual requirements was a key factor in choosing them. Some companies follow their process strictly, while others can adjust according to our expertise — this was the case with U1CORE as well; they were diligent in their delivery, ensuring that no fluff is added, and we only received what we needed.
Are there any areas for improvement or something U1CORE could have done differently?
U1CORE was literally what we asked for and more. They were right regarding the designs, they had an on-it team, and their transparency brought trust with us. We also look forward to continuing to work with them on mobile apps. For a design team that is not only skilled but preferably dependable and that you can pivot quickly with, look no further than U1CORE.
