Small design firm. Big heart.

TWO Design is a multi-disciplinary boutique design firm based in Pune, India.

While our core services are brand identity design and UI & UX design, we welcome design challenges spanning disciplines. This has allowed us to work on a whole range of projects, from graphic design to editorial design to even animated films. We love clean, honest, and purposeful design. We try very hard to make our work seem effortless. And we slap five when we make something we're proud of. Here at TWO Design, our palms hurt a lot.

Parmeshwar Sharan Advertising Campaign Image

Parmeshwar Sharan Advertising Campaign

TWO Design was commissioned by Sharan Estates, one of the city's most established real estate developers, to reposition one of their oldest, most sought-after properties -- Parmeshwar Sharan.

Nestled in the heart of the city, Parmeshwar Sharan is an apartment complex which boasts a unique floor plan and layout in almost every home. This is the insight we began with, and created a 3-creative advertising campaign around

the idea of "Homes as unique as you are". From social media to posters and billboards, this campaign did wonders for the brand.
The Doctor Foundation Brand Identity Design Image

The Doctor Foundation Brand Identity Design

Things got incredibly personal for us with the brand design of The Doctor Foundation.

The primary objective of the Foundation is to bring a sense of warmth, cheer and purpose back into the lives of the elderly in underprivileged sections of society.

For the first time, we approached an identity design from a colloquial standpoint.

This meant considering the fact that the majority of the people the

Foundation was targeting couldn't read English. So we began the search for our logotype in the Devanagari script. And boy, was that a gloriously fulfilling exercise.
Kausheya Brand Identity Design Image

Kausheya Brand Identity Design

We were commissioned by Kausheya Silks, London — a sustainable, conscientious brand which still uses traditional silk weaving practices from India, offering massive support to local craftsmen — to design a brand identity that reflected their love of silk weaving.

Employing local Indian silk weavers and craftsmen who use sustainable practices that have been passed on from generation to generation, Kausheya promises an

incredible attention to detail in their products, which include scarves, shawls and other accessories.

Our scope of work involved designing the brand identity and print collateral for the brand. The results were as handcrafted and silky smooth as the products themselves.

Teapoy Brand Identity Design Image

Teapoy Brand Identity Design

One of the most beautiful and exhaustive endeavours we’ve ever had the privilege of taking up, Teapoy is the fruit of a truly collaborative effort.
Aimed at tea connoisseurs and tea novices alike, this is an unapologetic, authentic effort at not just providing pure, unadulterated tea to the public, but also to educate them on the nuances of tea and its preparation.
One of our favourite clients, we were given free rein

to develop the brand from its inception, and we’re still deeply involved with the development of the space itself.
Keep your eyes and ears tuned, Teapoy will be opening soon!
Spazio Brand Identity Design Image

Spazio Brand Identity Design

We were commissioned by Panchshil Realty & Developers,

the city’s leading real estate company, to design a brand identity for their new flagship high-end luxury furniture store — Spazio.

The store showcases some of the most coveted and exclusive luxury furniture design brands from Italy, in a massive 25,000 sq. ft. space.

As a matter of fact, Spazio is the largest such store in India, and quite possibly

one of the largest in Asia. Add to that, the fact that the brand would go on to have an incredible amount of international exposure and face the scrutiny of the kind of clientele that is accustomed to insane levels of perfection in their products.

No pressure or anything, of course.

The client loved our work, as did the Italians at the launch party, so we were properly chuffed.

The Story Goes On Image

The Story Goes On

Traditional art galleries are often perceived as intimidating or pretentious. From day one on this project, we knew 'The Story Goes On' had to radically change people's preconceived notions about art, design and antique collection.
The gallery features a staggering number of items and artefacts from across multiple categories. Browsing through their catalogue, you’re bound to fall in love over and over again. All the items

on offer aren’t valuable just because they’re old. The real value lies in their stories, the stories of the people who created them, and the generations afterward that owned and used them.
So when you buy one of these pieces, the story goes on, with you.
SAGlass Brand Identity Redesign Image

SAGlass Brand Identity Redesign

With an uncompromising attitude to their work and a strong emphasis on innovation, SAGlass is one of the most respected brands in the Indian glass manufacturing industry. Their stellar reputation was also why they’ve always been a bit wary of changing their 10 year-old brand identity. When the opportunity to design them a refreshed brand fit for the 21st century finally arose, we jumped at the chance.
We built them an

identity that was inspired by glass in its purest, molten state, after studying the way heat dissipates through it. The result was an amorphous, shape-shifting design language that required us to create rules for just how those shapes would shift, across media and collateral.
Lakme Fashion Week Image

Lakme Fashion Week

For three seasons of Lakme Fashion Week, we were commissioned to create a brand identity for the events and design the event collateral, including installations within the event space as well. Two of those seasons were during the 15th year anniversary of the Fashion Week, for which we designed a special, custom-designed '15 Year' logomark. This '15' was then adapted to large, 10-feet tall physical installations across the event

space.

Feedback summary:

The aesthetic sense demonstrated by TWO Design throughout the project satisfied all project stakeholders and led to a demonstrable increase in traffic and click-through rates. Their team was communicative and attentive to their client’s core business challenges throughout the project.

A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.

BACKGROUND

Introduce your business and what you do there.

I’m the co-founder and co-chair of an ethical silk company primarily focused on creating silk products. Currently, we are focusing on accessories such as children’s bedding and clothing.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What challenge were you trying to address with TWO Design?

We wanted to go through brand identity and collateral creation, which was why we were looking for a design partner to help us put all of that together.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Their primary role with us was in content creation, such as blogs and other materials. They provided the design and aesthetic choices for all of the written content as well and helped us implement a more cohesive image. That included all of our graphics, iconography, branding, logos, and fonts, which were implemented mostly on the web but also in print for our packaging and business merchandise.

What is the team composition?

We worked with a variety of design and project management personnel from their team.

How did you come to work with TWO Design?

We looked at quite a few companies in our evaluation, and their polished, sophisticated, yet subtle style stood out to us the most. They were able to strike a balance between being minimalistic and elegant, but still distinctively Indian that we really liked.

How much have you invested with them?

We spent less than $5,000 in total.

What is the status of this engagement?

The project lasted approximately from March–September 2016.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We had a definite increase in traffic and click-throughs on our website as a result of the work that they did. A lot of our customer feedback on the branding has been very positive, and we couldn’t be more pleased.

One aspect that I think particularly speaks to the quality of the engagement is that we are looking to pursue more work with their team. One of their copywriters has helped us with a lot of the specific designs for their content, and we are definitely going to continue to work with him to accomplish that with other content projects.

How did TWO Design perform from a project management standpoint?

I think they did a very good job with project management. They used a variety of Google Suite tools, as well as Trello, to keep in consistent contact with us throughout the engagement.

What did you find most impressive about them?

As a team, they really understood where we were coming from. Their aesthetic sense and professional approach really helped us bring our ideas and materials to life.

Are there any areas they could improve?

There’s always room for improvement, but I don’t think I could pinpoint anything specific that they need to change.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

My advice for any client engagement would be to stay as actively engaged and communicative with their team as possible.
