Branding & Mktg Services for Environmental Consulting Co
"They have a way of making us feel like an important customer."
the reviewer
the review
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the president of an environmental testing and consulting firm. We test for asbestos, lead-based paint, mold, and other hazardous materials for various clients and their indoor environments, as well as for regulatory compliance.
We do the technical side to sample and investigate what kind of materials are present. Then, if there’s a need to clean the hazard, we design a legal and safe way to solve the problem.
What challenge were you trying to address with Twelve12?
Before we met Twelve12, we were following a more traditional marketing style. We focused on in-person lunches, events, conferences, and so on. That in-person marketing worked well for 22 years, but with the emergence of COVID-19 in 2020, it was difficult to follow that method.
We had to find a new way to reach out to existing clients and new markets. We came across Twelve12, and they had innovative methods and a professional and knowledgeable style to put us in touch with our customers.
What was the scope of their involvement?
When we met with Twelve12, we wanted to come out of the pandemic with some excitement, so we completely rebranded our entire operation. We took our old logo and brand and reimagined it with their help. Twelve12 put together different choices, and we picked the one we thought was the coolest for our brand.
From there, we went ahead and did our entire website. They provided the copy, which was tuned toward the marketing style – that’s what they brought to the table.
What is the team composition?
We work with four people from their team. Ike (Director) handles the design and art side of the project, Sara (Editor) is in charge of the routine maintenance and management, and Mohammed (Student Intern) works on SEM and the elements managing our presence. Also, there’s another person on the design team, and they’ve all been top-notch, professional, and helpful.
How did you come to work with Twelve12?
I found them online, and then I sat down with them in person. After they heard what we wanted to do and we saw what they could do, it felt like we chose each other. I had to trust I could hand my brand over to them, and they had to be able to help me, so it had to be a mutual fit. With Twelve12, I could immediately tell that their team was dedicated and capable of pulling off the work.
How much have you invested with them?
We’ve spent about $100,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
We began working together in September 2020, and our relationship is ongoing.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Our online searches have improved significantly, and sales are going up. Moreover, we’re getting direct leads from the new website, so we can track and identify where they’re coming from. With phone tracking, we can also see how long people are talking to us and their phone numbers. In summary, there are quantitative metrics that determine the ROI of this project, and it’s all positive figures.
On the other hand, they have a way of making us feel like an important customer, and they still believe that the customer is always right.
How did Twelve12 perform from a project management standpoint?
They have a unique, cool management style — it’s different from other companies, and it’s very personal. We usually talk back and forth through email, and they use applications where they can do video recordings and step us through the process, so it feels like a live conversation. Overall, their communication is excellent, and I’m blown away by it. We’d like to use some of their tools to communicate with our customers the same way.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They have a bright, outstanding style. It’s not easy to pull it off, and everybody else is trying to do the same thing.
Are there any areas they could improve?
I’m struggling to find something; they’ve knocked it out of the park.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
You have to find a company that fits you. Twelve12 has worked out for us, so I’d imagine it’d work out for others. They’re a professional, outstanding team committed to seeing a project all the way through to its successful completion.

Website Dev & Design for Weight Healthcare Clinic
“Without this company helping me, I would not be able to do what I am doing right now.”
the reviewer
the review
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I have a medical and weight management clinic. We do metabolic management and obesity management for patients that are interested in losing weight through both non-surgical means, such as diet and exercise, as well as through surgical weight programs.
What challenge were you trying to address with Twelve12?
I needed to have someone that would provide a variety of marketing services. I have written three books and I needed help in laying out those books and presenting them in an effective way to the public — in other words, I needed support with the artwork, graphics, and layouts.
I do both experimental surgery and some standardized procedures, and I needed someone that would be able to understand how to properly explain my procedures through graphics. We do metabolic management, which is much different than just weight. We approach our patients differently, so I needed someone that would do the digital marketing and also take the time to understand the difference between my clinic and approach and other weight management clinics.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Twelve12 did the graphics and the layout for my books, and they also wrote material for a lot of collateral that we needed like handouts, brochures, and booklets for patients. We didn’t have any of these items, and they did the layouts, the graphics, and the editing for each one.
They then created three websites for me from scratch — each one was slightly different. I am very specific on what I need and my approach, and so they had to be willing to listen to my approach and learn how I thought and put that into the website design.
After that, they oversaw SEO, preparation for target marketing with PPC, and banner ads. They also advised me on social media and Facebook — I didn’t really want them to work on my Facebook and LinkedIn at first, but they gave me free advice to start and I involved them with those platforms later on.
They also helped me make videos about my approach for YouTube. They helped figure out how to stage and plan the videos, and they did the video shooting and editing. They created a YouTube channel for me, and they started to post these videos on my social media. That was the most recent project we did together.
For the video process, I would give them the raw material, and then they wrote it for me. I reviewed it, made my comments, and edited it, and then they rewrote it, and I approved it. They have a couple of writers in-house, as well as an in-house computer graphics team and a separate team that does videos and video editing — they even have someone who does the interviews as well. They interviewed me about my company, and I got to set up the format of the videos. The principal of the company was involved in the video project discussions, and we worked together to come to an agreement on how best to stage that video. Really, they did everything from soup to nuts.
They also did some really slick branding for me. They created four separate logos for me — one for my medical practice, one for my surgical practice, a logo and name for a new nutritional product company, and a logo for the procedure that we currently have in clinical trials.
When they created my logos, they didn’t just sit there, talk to me and draw up some generic logo. They interviewed me on what I want for the logo, then they went away and created three logos, did a Zoom presentation, and presented the logos to me. If there were any that I didn’t like, they redid them and came up with another three. If I liked them — and generally, I liked all of the logos they showed me — we ranked them and I decided which one I wanted to go with. The whole process was very methodical.
I also have a project that I am doing directly with a hospital — the hospital had their own web design team and their web marketing team, and it turned out that Twelve12 was better, so they decided to go with Twelve12. It is very difficult working with a big hospital, and they helped sift through all of the headaches the hospital gives me and come to a reasonable go-forward plan.
What is the team composition?
Across all of my different projects, I worked with probably 20 of their teammates. The main point of contact is Ike (Director). If I ever had problems, Ike was the person who straightened out any issues and intervened to get a project done faster. There are also department leaders.
How did you come to work with Twelve12?
I found Twelve12 online. I had meetings with four different companies because I was looking for someone that could do some very specific things. Ike went through a number of questions around how I wanted to approach my marketing, my progress with my business development, and some other related topics. It was almost like a mutual interview — I was looking for a team that could do the job, and he was wondering if he was a good fit for working with our company. Most other companies that I talked to were people with a team of just 2–3 people, so Twelve12 was quite a bit larger.
How much have you invested in them?
I have spent about $140,000 with them so far.
What is the status of this engagement?
I started working with them in March 2019, and it is ongoing.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Without this company helping me, I would not be able to do what I am doing right now. I come up with a lot of business ideas, and a lot of them are pretty aggressive — Twelve12 has made it possible for me to execute on these ideas. The impact has been huge, quite frankly, and I have been able to up my game on my presentation of my clinic and my services to the public because of the work they have done.
The quality has been higher than what I was looking for. They have exceeded my expectations — I think that they will continue to exceed my expectations in the future. They have had an absolutely monstrous impact on my business.
How did Twelve12 perform from a project management standpoint?
They are quite timely. Due to the type of projects that I do, there are some changes that come up sometimes — they have been pretty timely in discussing those with me and how that might impact the outcome. If I made a change in what I want, or if there was a change in the project for some reason, then they would re-discuss it with me so we ended up consistently hitting the time points.
They give me a cost for each project, and so far, there has never been a cost overrun. Even though the projects have changed, they have never said they were going to charge me more for something. When they gave me a cost, that ended up being the cost. If I eliminated part of the project, they just deleted that portion of the cost from the project sum total. So, for cost and timeliness, they are very accurate.
As far as project management, Twelve12’s system seems to be very well organized. There is always somebody to talk to — I don’t like being passed around and they haven’t really done that. We usually communicate through Zoom when it is appropriate or when they want to do a presentation of the banners or the logos. They set up a Zoom meeting and they walk me through it. If they want to do a presentation of how our SEO is performing or how our banner ads campaign is going, they will actually create an Excel spreadsheet and put it up on a Zoom presentation.
We also communicate via phone for spur-of-the-moment discussions, but we haven’t really organized meetings over the phone. I prefer to communicate by email because I know I am going to get a response, and unless it is urgent, I really don’t want to be tied up on the phone.
For each project, Twelve12 gave me a point of contact, as well as their number and email so I can text, call, or email them. If I would go to that person, they would know that I was working with them on that project.
What did you find most impressive about them?
I am really impressed by their methodical approach to working on our materials. I was an engineer in college and I am a surgeon now, so I am comfortable working in a scientific and mathematical environment. I appreciated the methodical, stepwise progression that Twelve12 brought to the concepts I was trying to relate or develop, from the development of the materials all the way through the marketing.
I really tasked this team — I’ve asked them for a lot, and so far, they have delivered. I’ve worked with some good website developers in the past, but I’ve never worked with one that can do everything that Twelve12 has done for me.
Are there any areas they could improve?
I haven’t ever seen a service that’s this good, so I can’t really say that they could improve something. I think that there are services that they don’t weigh in on, but I am not really interested in those. Obviously, after what I have said, I don’t really have improvements to share — they exceed my expectations.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
I wouldn’t recommend them to my competitors!

Branding & Lead Generation for Ballroom Dance Studio
“They care about us and we feel that they’re our partner in our business.”

the review
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the owner of Bella Ballroom Dance Studio.
What challenge were you trying to address with Twelve12?
We wanted to increase leads. Our company had done a decent job, but we kept bumping against a ceiling that we couldn’t break through. As a result, we enlisted Twelve12’s help to increase leads. To do that, we wanted a more professional presence through our logo, marketing, and branding. We also needed a better system in place to get regular leads to achieve the next level of income we wanted to get for the business.
What was the scope of their involvement?
We started out with an all-day strategy session, where we went through the business’ history, where it had been, and where it was. This helped Twelve12 see our business journey and know the factors that led to where we were. In this session, they also nailed down our core values. They asked deep questions that I had never even asked myself about the business. Moreover, they wanted to know who I was as a leader and who we were truly serving as a business.
We had milestones for their work. The first one was the logo, which they designed for our business branding. For other deliverables, we had plenty of calls and meetings as they told us what directions we could take. They’d present things and tell us what they thought through a collaborative effort.
Right now, we’re not doing so much active marketing, but they continue to help me. Ike (Director) and his team are experienced entrepreneurs, so they help me with general business advising.
What is the team composition?
We’ve worked with 5–6 people from their team. The team composition depends on which phase we’re at; Ike is our main point of contact, but when we need copywriting services, we contact the copywriter. If we do social media marketing, we have another point of contact for that. In other words, we’re in touch with different team members depending on where we are in the process.
How did you come to work with Twelve12?
I did a Google search and found Twelve12 there. It was apparent that they had expertise in such searches because they were found in the results. Then, I interviewed 4–5 companies. In the end, I simply liked Twelve12. I could tell that they truly cared; it wasn’t just a job for a paycheck. Since it was quite rare to find a company and people that truly cared about us and took pride in their work, I chose them.
How much have you invested with them?
We’ve invested about $40,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working together in June 2018, and the engagement is ongoing.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Within six months of our engagement, our leads have gone up to 40%. Now, they’ve gone up to 60%.
Qualitatively, the great thing about working with Twelve12 is that the partnership is personal. It’s like having a partner and a best friend in my business. They have a personal investment in my business. As someone who’s always been the sole leader of a company, it’s such a great feeling to have a partner who’s invested in my success.
How did Twelve12 perform from a project management standpoint?
They’re present with us for emergencies day or night. For instance, we had an emergency where leads weren’t coming in on the website for two weeks, and I was on maternity leave. Ike immediately took care of it and had his IT person and four other people working on the issue within 20 minutes. It turned out that it had nothing to do with Twelve12 but with something on our server.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Their heart and work ethics are the best parts of working with them. They care about us and we feel that they’re our partner in our business.
Are there any areas they could improve?
No, there aren’t any. I recommend them wholeheartedly.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Be open-minded. As a business owner, it’s easy to get locked into the specific ways you see things. Working with Twelve12 has opened my perspective on other ways people view my business. As a result, it’s crucial to stay open-minded to different ideas and collaborations you might not always think about on your own.

Branding, Web Dev & Digital Marketing for IT Services Firm
"The comfort and the peace of mind they give us are the best parts of working with them."

A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the CEO of CloudStep, a managed service provider of cybersecurity and IT for small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs), nonprofits, and other organizations.
What challenge were you trying to address with Twelve12?
Twelve12 was introduced to us in 2016. At that time, our marketing campaign was spotty and non-existent for the most part. We focused on word-of-mouth referrals, which was good in the beginning. After a while, it became difficult to keep a steady pace of growth. Meanwhile, I never liked cold calling, where everyone could hang up on us. I preferred to get our name out there in a way that people would be drawn to us. As a result, we decided to embark on this journey with Twelve12.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Twelve12 provided us with a comprehensive business solution. At first, I was hesitant because we only needed marketing services. However, they went on and provided us with a strategic plan and branding for the website. They handled our marketing efforts, created a new logo for us, designed and developed our website, and made more marketing collateral.
Their team did all the research and discovery for us. On day one of our engagement, they asked us about our mission, vision, and goals. When our teams knew clearly what we wanted, they worked to reflect all of our goals, strengths, and weaknesses on our branding and marketing. Everything from the logo design to the marketing designs was also integrated into the plan.
They didn’t make all the decisions, however. For instance, they gave us five choices for our logo design and let us choose what we wanted. The same went for the website. They gave us choices and developed a custom WordPress website that contained videos. That being said, we didn’t have to spend much time in decision-making because they already knew our business inside and out. In other words, we also let them decide what was best for us.
Moreover, they helped us with our social media campaigns on channels like Facebook, LinkedIn, and Instagram. Overall, they provided a comprehensive package that included web development, design, and marketing.
What is the team composition?
In the beginning, we worked with multiple teams, including their video, design, and strategic teams. At least 6–7 people worked together because a lot was happening at once. After everything has been done, we’ve interfaced with 2–3 people for the ongoing work.
How did you come to work with Twelve12?
Twelve12 was a referral from one of our clients. I met Ike (Director), who was highly personable, genuine, and sincere. We started talking. Then, they gave us a proposal, and we got started.
How much have you invested with them?
We’ve spent between $100,000–$150,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working together in February 2017, and the engagement is ongoing.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
We’ve gained numerous clients who have joined us after finding us online. That has never happened before. In the last four years, around 80% of our clients have come from Twelve12’s efforts. More importantly, these are long-term relationships and not one-time sales. For instance, we have an international automotive manufacturing company as our client, and they found us online through the website. We’ve also gained a large real estate client. Overall, we thank our web presence, marketing, and branding for all of this.
Meanwhile, our website and its video loops have received positive feedback for being smoothly done. Our clients’ testimonials are also there, and they’re powerful. I’m highly impressed with the quality of the videos. If they’d done only the videos for our website, even that would have been amazing. The blogs they’ve created also work well; the content is searchable. Likewise, users looking for cybersecurity services find us easily.
Further, I’ve been involved with other marketing organizations. Companies think that marketing is a magic bullet. However, a marketing person can usually only do as much as we give them. That has always been the complaint of marketing people, and I’ve seen so many failures. By contrast, Twelve12’s strategic planning meeting has helped us make sense of our marketing campaign.
How did Twelve12 perform from a project management standpoint?
Twelve12’s project management has been good. We have regular meetings so we know clearly what’s happening; we don’t feel like we’re in the dark. Apart from that, they take the lead and take that burden off of our shoulders. They know what they’re doing, and they keep us informed along the way. In fact, they’ve gone out their way to collect client testimonials for our website videos. They’ve been respectful of the parties’ time, and we don’t have to do anything. We just see the end results.
To communicate, we use email updates and Skype calls with some of their developers. We also meet in person for big meetings. They come over to our location, and we go over everything together.
What did you find most impressive about them?
The best thing about Twelve12 is their holistic approach to understanding our business and then building from that. They make us feel at ease, and we don’t have to supervise their work. We do work with their team, but it’s fun. We’re relaxed because they do all the heavy lifting, and our team only has to give input. In fact, our team looks forward to our meetings with Twelve12.
Overall, the comfort and the peace of mind they give us are the best parts of working with them. They know what they’re doing and take on the leadership role for it.
Are there any areas they could improve?
No, there aren’t any.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Meet with Twelve12 and tell them your goals and the big picture. Don’t be so specific; take a step back — that’s how they work best. They work their magic when you simply sit back and tell them about your business and goals. On top of that, don’t be shy to share information because all of that will be taken into account when they work on the designs. Something as simple as your logo will take your entire business into account, along with what you’re trying to achieve. Give them the big picture, and let them run with it.

Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the sales director of a catering company. We specialize in upscale taco catering.
What challenge were you trying to address with Twelve12?
We wanted to present a higher quality online presence to match our vision, which was to create a luxury experience for our clients.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Twelve12 first designed and developed our website from scratch. We gave them the content, including our menu and specialty items. They’ve also started helping us with social media and digital marketing as a whole.
What is the team composition?
We’ve worked with 6–7 teammates, including a director and a copywriter.
How did you come to work with Twelve12?
I found Twelve12 through online research back in 2017. They then helped me rebrand my previous business. I decided to hire them again for my new business because they were thorough.

The client submitted this review online.
Please describe your company and your position there.
I am the president of Cilek USA Inc, the US division of Cilek. We manufacture and sell children’s furniture, and our flagship store is in California.
For what projects/services did your company hire Twelve12?
We wanted a video advertisement to air on TV. We engaged Twelve12 to create a script and then shoot and edit the video.
What were your goals for this project?
We wanted to build brand awareness in the US and our company’s home country of Turkey. The video would air on TV, YouTube, social media channels, our website, and in our stores.
How did you select this vendor?
We’d worked with Twelve12 on developing our marketing strategy and mission, so we were familiar with their skills and level of quality. We’d also seen their video productions for other clients; their style matched our vision for this project.
Describe the video(s) and the process in detail.
We first provided a short brief and chose the product we wanted to showcase—a children’s racecar bed. We also discussed our target market, casting needs, and our desired feel for the video. Twelve12 then developed several different scripts and storyboards for our consideration. Once we made our revisions and settled on a storyboard, the team created a detailed budget and timeline. We accepted it, and the project began. Twelve12 completed end-to-end video production for us, including casting, set design, shooting, post-production, and music editing.
What was your vendors' project management or feedback process?
We trusted them with a turn-key solution and didn’t interfere until we saw the first edit. We provided minor revisions to each edit until we were happy with the final product.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
After launching the video in the US and Turkey, we saw an excellent return on positive reviews and feedback. Our brand awareness and value grew, and our online sales channel in Turkey saw a 20% increase in racecar bed sales.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
We worked closely with the owner and creative director. The team communicated all details before production started. They then, at our request, ran the process independently, informing us of meeting timeline milestone and looping us in once they had finished the first edit. We were happy with the collaboration from start to finish.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
We valued Twelve12’s personalized service, technical expertise, and speedy delivery. They delivered a high-quality video on time and within a tight budget.
Are there any areas for improvement?
Twelve12 lacked in-house music production capabilities, and their vendor’s work did fully not match the style and feel that we wanted in our video. We also wanted the video to focus more on the product itself. However, we missed the opportunity to address this in the script and only realized it when we saw the first edit.

Full Branding Support for Skateboard Company
“Perhaps we are successful because I listened to them.”
the reviewer
the review
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the founder and investor at Nuff Boards. We’re a unique skateboard company because we offer high-quality products at a price point that is affordable.
What challenge were you trying to address with Twelve12?
Our business is difficult because a lot of companies started to sell electric skateboards suddenly. When we had the idea, fewer companies were in the market. By the time we launched, there were more companies in the market. Delivering a quality skateboard at a good price is a big challenge because it’s expensive to manufacture one that is high-powered and high-quality. We needed someone to help us create a brand that would resonate with the 18 to 35-year-old male demographic that was different than other skateboard companies in the industry.
What was the scope of their involvement?
They did a great job with market research. They gave us complete branding support including the name, the logo, the brand, the videos, and they ran the Kickstarter campaign, which was fully funded. They designed and developed our website. They even designed the skateboard. They did everything and still do. We created another skateboard company and they did all of those tasks for that company too.
What is the team composition?
We work with the project manager. Their director is always involved. I connected with the writer/communications coordinator about the essence of the brand and how to connect with the consumer. I also met the development team and design team in meetings.
How did you come to work with Twelve12?
I interviewed several companies, and I’ve worked with many marketing companies. I found them online and they were also recommended.
How much have you invested with them?
We’ve spent $200,000–$300,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working together in May 2016 and the work is ongoing.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
They’re like part of the company. I don’t have an internal marketing team because they do such a good job. Whatever goals we set together, we beat them. Perhaps we are successful because I listened to them.
They’re good people, which is why we recommend them to many companies. They’re eccentric geniuses. I’m happy.
How did Twelve12 perform from a project management standpoint?
They asked me years ago how I wanted to communicate. I told them I prefer to meet face-to-face so we schedule monthly face-to-face meetings. If a deadline is ever missed, it’s because of issues on my end, not because of them. If they say it’s going to be finished in one month, they finish in three weeks.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They’re honest. You can see that they care about your business. They have passion and love what they do. I told them many ideas and many times they told me it wasn’t a good idea to spend money on them. At the time, I didn’t understand. Now I look back and I understand, they weren’t good ideas. Not many companies would do this; they would just take your money.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Listen to them. They’re honest people doing good work. It’s like when the doctor tells you to take medicine, you don’t say no. Branding is like that. Trust them.

Please describe your company and your position there.
I’m the VP of Marble Bros Inc, a wholesaler and retailer of tile and stone products. I manage marketing and sales.
For what projects/services did your company hire Twelve12?
We changed our company name from Federal Marble Inc to Marble Bros Inc, and we needed help with branding.
What were your goals for this project?
We’ve been in the industry since 1999, so we wanted to debut a fresh catalog and website under the new company name.
How did you select this vendor?
They were a recommendation from one of our vendors. I contacted them and they were responsive. They easily understood what we wanted to do from our first meeting, so I felt comfortable working with them.
Describe the scope of their work in detail.
We had two meetings before deciding the scope of work. Twelve12 started by creating a new logo. Next they produced new stationery and envelope designs. We then sent them all our stone and tile products. They took professional pictures and created a new catalog. They also developed a new website.
What was the team composition?
I worked mostly with Ike (director, Twelve12). I also spoke with the web developer, photographer, and catalog designer whenever needed.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
Our website and catalogue turned out even better than I expected. The new branding created trust. Our dealers gave us compliments without us asking for their opinion.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
I’m busy and tend to be a slow responder. They were extremely patient when they needed my approval for things to move forward. They kept pushing the project forward without putting pressure on me. I really appreciated their professionalism. They got the new website up and running in a few weeks.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
Ike was extremely knowledgeable about business and marketing in general. He knew about all the latest developments in marketing strategies and web development.
Are there any areas for improvement?
No. We were one of their first customers, and Twelve12 continues to support us with updating our website. They grew fast in the last 5 years and I’ve noticed an improvement each year. The entire team is very capable.

Please describe your company and your position there.
I’m the co-founder of a software development company. We’ve developed multiple well-received apps.
For what projects/services did your company hire Twelve12?
We needed someone to build our brand, website, and copy. We also needed them to handle PR, SEO, and SEM for us.
What were your goals for this project?
We wanted to be successfully funded on Indiegogo and then be able to sell our products online. We ultimately wanted to create a brand that was recognized.
How did you select this vendor?
We interviewed many providers but weren’t entirely comfortable with them. From our first meeting with Twelve12, we hit it off and knew why they came recommended to us. Now, I cant picture us working with a different vendor, they've become an extension of us.
Describe the scope of their work in detail.
We held a three day strategic planning retreat. They helped with a number of aspects, including: choosing name, brand design, site development, copy, video production, Indiegogo management, social media management, SEO,SEM, and Amazon and e-commerce integration.
What was the team composition?
We work directly with the director, Ike, on each project. Throughout the years, we’ve interacted with around 15 team members from Twelve12, depending on the project.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
After starting, we hit our funding goals for Indiegogo. Now, we are on the first page of search results and we are actively selling our products on multiple platforms. We couldn't be happier with the results; I'm sure that our brand and product wouldn't be as successful without their help.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
I was impressed, it was a very organic and natural workflow. They always communicated very clearly and quickly. Our director responds to our questions or feedback within a few hours, at most.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
The character and honesty that they brought to the table were impressive.
Are there any areas for improvement?
There aren’t any areas for improvement, they charged a lot but we got what we paid for.
Twelve12’s efforts have had a positive impact — online searches have improved, sales have gone up, and the new website is generating leads. The team stands out for their unique approach, and they’re personable and committed in their project management. Their communication is excellent.
