What was the scope of their involvement?

We gave them the necessary information to do a system scan. Our system is used to provide cloud and hosting services. They used a vulnerability scanner to check our infrastructure and provided a report of the vulnerabilities they found, along with suggested action points. They helped us implement most of their suggestions.

The owner and I negotiated the contract. There were 3-4 people from their team who worked on the project.

We had an issue connecting our infrastructure to their platform, but the problem was on our side. They met expectations, and the project was successful. We are quite satisfied.

Our team manager interacted directly with their team. We communicated via email, and there were no complaints.

The presentation of the company was most impressive to me. Even though they are a young company, their team members are highly experienced.

We approached Trilight Security for the penetration testing of our web applications and thesecurity assessment of our cloud infrastructure. They’ve conducted the pentest and evaluation asper the agreed scope and methodologies, providing us with a detailed report on the findings andremediation advice. Their recommendations were clear and actionable, facilitating quick andefficient remediation of the findings. The report is well-structured, well-detailed, and features a nice visual design.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Trilight Security has completed the penetration testing of the web applications and security
assessment of the cloud environment, providing us with valuable insights as to the security posture
of our digital infrastructure. We were able to implement their recommendation to harden our

assets and get prepared for the ISO 27001 external audit

Our company pays a lot of attention to the protection of our IT assets against malware and other cybersecurity threats. Having experienced the need to replace existing endpoint protection solution which we used for the part of our server infrastructure, we hired Trilight Security to offer us an adequate alternative and implement it. 

After several rounds of negotiations and demonstrations we chose the SentinelOne XDR platform, which Trilight Security helped us to implement. During the project implementation their cybersecurity engineers closely cooperated with our IT team and helped complete different tasks

We have had a very positive experience with them which really helped improve the overall level of security of our web application. They successfully identified several vulnerabilities of different criticality level and helped us eliminate them. Also, they provided a follow-up check to confirm successful elimination of the vulnerabilities by our developers

Due to a sensitive nature of the services we provide and data we work with, we have always been very scrupulous about the quality and backgrounds of cybersecurity personnel providing services to our clients. At some stage of one of our managed security projects we faced the need to urgently augment our Tier 1/2 security analysts team. 

To make in quick we decided to search for a partner ready to provide personnel with exact skills set and particular experiences, that is working in large IT environments, familiar with specific cybersecurity solutions, our SIEM system in particular. Last, but not least, we searched for a partner able to help us scale the team up and down in a very fast and smooth manner.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Up to now we have had a very positive experience with the managed security outsourcing from Trilight Security, as there were timely prevented potentially critical incidents. The managed security personnel we outstaffed from Trilight Security provided high quality Tier 1 support, and also produced several valuable inputs as to improvement of our SOC operations, in particular, contributed to creation of new reports. 

And not only we’ve improved our cybersecurity situation, but also gained an additional competitive edge as seen by our clients. Eventually, the personnel we outsourced from Trilight Security OÜ contributed to increasing efficiency of our SOC.

The workflow between Trilight Security personnel and our internal team is very efficient. They are smoothly interacting with us and cybersecurity/IT personnel of our end customers, when required.i In addition the project manager is very hands-on and proactive. They are always on time and consistency bring new ideas to solutions.

I'm the owner of architecture and construction bureau working with private and public customers.

For what projects/services did your company hire Trilight Security?

We were looking for a cybersecurity company able to develop and implement a cybersecurity management program covering all needs for protection of our clients' data and our productive IT systems. Also we asked to implement a back up and archiving solution.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We searched for cybersecurity companies on different resources in relative vicinity, with focus on those working with SMB. Trilight Security was shortlisted, and we sent them and other contenders requests for proposals and entered into communications. Interaction with them was most convincing in terms of offered solutions and price.

Describe the project in detail and walk through the stages of the project.

As agreed they implemented an anti-virus solution, VPNs for remote workers and secured our resources from DDoS-attacks and implemented identity management solution to increase overall security and manage access to our proprietary information. They also implemented a basic backup solution which totally suits our needs.

How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

On Trilight Security side there were one PM and cybersecurity consultant who did all implementation and training.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Everything works fine and to the moment the project proved to be a success. In particular, backup solution helped restore one of failed workstations in a very short time, and also we were able to prevent a potential ransomware attack due to new policies implemented during the project.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Absolutely effective. They implemented everything as agreed and provided quality training for our IT manager.

We are pleased with their ability to meet all our needs even going beyond what was expected at the same time keeping within the budget.
