We needed a go to market sales strategy as well as a longterm sales program.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

Their pitch was very well articulated and they showed a clear path to reaching our revenue goals. The quote fit in our budget and did not seem over inflated like others we had seen.

We initially started with a GTM strategy to introduce our product to the market and generate some buzz. We launched at a tradeshow in San Diego with the help of Treetop Marketing creating material and talk tracks for the show.

They also worked with us to put a sales pipeline in strategy in place that could be best described as a "bowtie" model. Treetop also helped us define the roles of our employees and how to create an efficient sales pipeline.

This helped in streamlining inbound leads and moving prospects through the pipeline with no confusion and focus on client satisfaction and education. The project resulted in a significant number of demos on a daily basis and low customer acquisition costs.

We mainly worked with Bill, owner of Treetop.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Treetop was able to generate a high number of leads and earn us meaningful MRR in the first year we launched. Compared to other companies I have worked with, the cost of acquisition was much lower than I have seen in similar marketing landscapes.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Very effective. Bill is very clear in defining objectives, tracking results over time and explaining them in weekly meetings.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

For the cost, Treetop is able to present you with a high volume of high ICP leads that will result in a high conversion rate if you have the right AE's for the job. You couldn't ask for more.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Not really, I learned a lot from Bill and what he is capable of doing.

I’m the growth director at a digital strategy and transformation agency. We design and build websites, mobile apps, and platforms for enterprises. I bring new clients to the company; I strategize and set up engagements to deliver results for our clients.

What challenge were you trying to address with Treetop Growth Strategy?

We hired Treetop to do a technical build of a website in the HubSpot CMS platform for a client. 

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

We did the strategy and design work for the website, and Treetop did the technical build. Our team gave them the design and strategy handoff notes, along with the technical scope, to let them know what exactly we needed to build. Their members participated in our design strategy meetings to stay up to date on what we were working on; this way, they were ready to implement the design. 

In terms of features and functionality, the website had a deep integration with HubSpot CMS. This was where we needed Treetop to work — they had a lot of experience in HubSpot, whereas we were unfamiliar with building on it. The team also did plenty of complex animations and visual flourishes throughout the site.

Treetop and our company worked together several years ago, though I wasn’t a part of that engagement.

We spent $30,200 on Treetop’s services.

This project lasted from February–November 2022.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

Treetop’s work quality was great. The look and feel of the website matched our designs well, and our end client was happy with the CMS and how the templates were laid out. The CMS functioned well for them, and the overall feedback was positive.

How did Treetop Growth Strategy perform from a project management standpoint?

They delivered everything on time and were flexible. The project ended up taking a bit longer than anticipated mostly because of the end client. Treetop intended to work on the project for only around four months, but they worked on it for around 7–8 months. Throughout that time, they were an extraordinarily flexible partner to us when we needed them to change the game plan for the client’s needs. 

To manage the project, we used Wrike, and we typically communicated using a combination of Zoom, Google Meet, and email. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

Treetop was truly helpful to us when working on the frontend strategy. They ensured that the templates we designed were achievable within HubSpot and kept us from making them too difficult to implement. 

Moreover, the team was open to our ideas and great at translating our design into the final platform’s code. Overall, they were flexible and an incredibly great partner even when things didn’t go exactly as expected. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, there weren’t any. They rolled with the punches on this project. 

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Be completely honest and transparent about your needs. Treetop can take that information in and translate it into a great end product. Specifically, their project manager is great at turning requirements into a build strategy while figuring out how and in what order you’re going to do things to achieve your goals.

We needed a company that could provide us with various digital marketing services.

What was the scope of their involvement?

We hired Treetop Growth Strategy to handle our B2C and B2B marketing, ad management, SEO, and financial modeling and planning efforts. Their responsibilities include onboarding affiliate partners, creating ads, conducting keyword research, creating optimized content for our site, backlinking, and managing the SaaS platforms we use for managing our tech stack, among other things. They’ve recently helped us develop a recurring revenue model for a direct-to-consumer service.

We’ve worked with 6–10 people from Treetop Growth Strategy, including ad managers, campaign managers, copywriters, and content producers.

We saw an increase in leads. Overall, Treetop met our expectations.

Treetop performed well in terms of project management. Since they were an external marketing agency for us, we communicated with them using Slack; they weren’t integrated into our HubSpot system.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They operated well in the marketing space, and the team was good at lead generation. If our goal was to increase sales substantially, they were great at targeting various markets to achieve that goal. Overall, they met deadlines and stayed on top of everything. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, there weren’t any. They did a great job.

Facilitate checkpoints to set clear expectations. If you want to grow your business in the health and wellness space, Treetop has a great network and can help you grow substantially. They know what they’re talking about, so take their guidance when it comes to lead generation and marketing — they’ve been in the business and done a great job.

We were introduced through a mutual friend who was an investor in swish house. Bill loves basketball and was drawn to helping us navigate the world of social media advertising

After getting to know our business and our brand identity, Treetop developed a plan to create compelling content about our startup basketball fitness company for paid social media advertising to generate revenue via new membership subscriptions

We established our brand presence on Facebook and Instagram, which led to a high volume of new trial members and monthly subscribers.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

It was very effective. So much so that we offered bill an equity stake in swish house’s business and how he is now the 8th largest shareholder in the company.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Bill genuinely loves basketball. They work well with our founders and care immensely about the business’s success. And he brought a great perspective as he is literally the ideal demographic of Swish House’s membership base - late thirties former high school hooper who loves basketball living in Chicago.

We grew our domain authority from insignificant to a domain authority of 50 in little over a year. We started getting a clients from the digital marketing and now we rely on it 100%. Fantastic result.

Fast and effective, weekly calls and used Trello.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They were experts who were practical and delivered results quickly.

Not really - they did everything we asked - and went beyond the normal boundaries to help us with technology to drive conversions.
