Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the founder and CEO of a real estate development company. We focus on developing multifamily and hospitality complexes.
What challenge were you trying to address with Transcenda?
There’s no automated processing platform to manage deal flow in the real estate industry. I engaged Transcenda to help me build a solution to manage workflow for real estate transactions from both the brokerage and development sides.
What was the scope of their involvement?
They developed a transnational deal manager that tracks leads and prospects through the entire real estate pipeline. It communicates with the different stakeholders in the real estate process, from landlords to brokers and tenants. There are widgets to manage communication and ensure proper documentation. It allows the whole process to be tracked through one system instead of through multiple different platforms for each phase of the process.
What is the team composition?
I worked with a team of about six people, including Megan (CEO & Co-Founder), Alexey (CTO & Co-Founder), designers, project managers, and developers.
How did you come to work with Transcenda?
I met Megan through some mutual friends who had worked with her company in the past. I spoke to Transcenda, and found that they were by far the best candidate for the job.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working together in August 2019, and our relationship is ongoing.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
It will be, and already has been, an unbelievable tool to help expedite all real estate transactions. I’ve already saved so much time and money because of the speed of using the platform.
How did Transcenda perform from a project management standpoint?
We had multiple lines of communication including Slack, phone, email, and text. The communication has been seamless. I’ve even been to their offices in Detroit and Kyiv.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Their creativity and passion for finding solutions are impressive. They’re also very hardworking and straightforward.
Are there any areas they could improve?
There’s always room for improvement, but nothing sticks out. If they don’t understand something, they let you know, and they’ll work to find a solution. They learned about the real estate industry so they could add more value to the project.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Throw anything at them, and they’ll help figure it out. Don’t be shy, put everything on the table. They thrive in an innovative environment.
