Touchlane was selected for mobile application development before I started as a project manager.

Continuous development with Scrum model. We have backend development, project managements and specifications from Finnish team and mobile application development and testing from Touchlane. Acceptance testing has been done in co-operation with customer.

Touchlane team composition has varied from two to four mobile developers and from zero to one tester.

Approximately 2-4 major releases per year depending on the release size. In addition, several smaller releases based on customer needs.

Project management with Scrum model. Communication and information sharing has been done with Jira, Confluence, Slack and Teams. There have not been any challenges from working from different countries.

We have been happy about Touchlane’s ability to react fast on changing customer needs about skill or team composition and efficient development of new features. We have been continuously developing the way of working and team efficiency together.

Since Video Protector had some bugs and didn’t function properly we requested the complete app diagnostics to detect the code crashes and fix all issues of the Android version of the app.

The first phase of development was devoted to the iOS app, which took nine months. The next phase involved Android development, which went on for six months. Touchlane implemented several features, including daily job progress tracking to make the process more transparent.
