Introduce your business and what you do there.

I work for Xerox, as the lead of the digital automation and analytics team.


What challenge were you trying to address with Toffyjar Digital?

We were working to develop an automation solution inside our company, and we hired Toffyjar Digital to create an easy to understand animation about it. We wanted the demo video so we could circulate it inside our company and post on our internal website.


What was the scope of their involvement?

We gave Toffyjar Digital a script and a storyboard to start. From there, they produced the video from scratch. The final animation was around two minutes in length. 

How did you come to work with Toffyjar Digital?

We got in contact a few years ago through the communications team at my previous company. I chose to use them again because of our past experience working together. 

How much have you invested with them?

It cost under $5,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

This project took about 3–4 weeks and our engagement ran from March–April 2019.


What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The video helped communicate our new concept to our leadership—all the feedback was very positive. It helped show how automation can make processes more manageable and doable to accomplish our business outcomes. It served as a great way to communicate this with our senior leadership. The length was also helpful, since there wouldn’t be time for a longer video and we didn’t have to do many presentations or meetings to raise awareness.  

How did Toffyjar Digital perform from a project management standpoint?

We used them primarily for their creative services, so the project management was mostly on us. We held meetings twice a week to check on progress, review the content, and give our feedback. We also communicated through email.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They were always enthusiastic and willing to take on the work. Bigger companies have a lot of processes, but it was quick to make a statement of work and organize resources with Toffyjar Digital. Their agility was the best, and they moved at the pace we wanted.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No—when we need to launch something new, we’ll certainly get back to using them.  

Overall Score We had a few hiccups, but our expectations were met most of the time.
