I'm a business development manager at a company based in Rome that provides multi-supplier comparisons and contractualization services to both domestic and business clients in the energy and telecommunication sectors.

In order to develop our business and improve our internal processes, we wanted to:

  2. Create from 0 new online internal tools, more user-friendly but also more efficient

How did you select Tinsa Soft and what were the deciding factors?

We've worked with Tinsa Soft before for similar projects in the past years. We also had the opportunity to meet their representative in order to present them with our new projects. We, therefore, choose them for their reliability and the mutual trust we built in the past years working together on various projects.

We had a clear idea of what and how we wanted. However, Tinsa Soft has been key in choosing adequately the technology to use and how to create what we imagined. Tinsa Soft also proved to be proficient in various technologies (PHP, React, JavaScript) which has been key in both improving our current tools and developing new ones.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

Past projects have proven to increase our sells and also drastically reduce errors sellers could make. Current projects (ongoing development) are expected to meet the same results but the design and developed functionalities already highly satisfy selling teams.

One of the best aspects of working with Tinsa Soft is the facility and rapidity in communicating with each other. We can use various channels of communication (emails, Slack, Trello) and we always get the fastest reply.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Definitely their to-do attitude and their adaptation to our needs impressed us. Their adaptability and reactivity are the greatest.

Tinsa Soft built a mobile app for iOS and Android from scratch. They created designs for the app and reached out to us for feedback before initiating the build phase. The team is providing ongoing maintenance and updates.

We have a designer, a project manager, and a developer assigned to us.

How did you come to work with Tinsa Soft?

Tinsa Soft made a website for one of our colleagues, and they referred us. We chose them because of their competitive prices and the professionalism of their team.           

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve spent $15,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with them in February 2019, and they’re still working on perfecting the app.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We haven’t been tracking any metrics to determine the success of the app, and they’re still making some finishing touches.

How did Tinsa Soft perform from a project management standpoint?

During the build phase, we were in touch with them every week, sometimes two or three times a week, and they were always available to answer our questions. They completed each task on time and stuck to our initial contract.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They completed a prototype version of the app in three months, and the product has every feature that we required. Their team is very collaborative in their approach, and they’ve done a great job of balancing their recommendations with our opinions. Thanks to our frequent discussions, we were able to choose the best way forward together.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I don’t think so, they’ve been great.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Make sure to provide a detailed contract at the beginning. Tinsa Soft will follow it closely.

Some of the members of their team did excellent work for us in the past.

Describe the project and the services they provided in detail.

We provided the developer with web design and product requirements for the dashboard app including all the use cases. They implemented the design using a React framework and constructed a solid, responsive, modular, event-driven frontend. For the backend, they helped build a REST API and some Node.js modules. They also helped create the object-relational mapping (ORM) middleware to connect to the relational database management system (RDBMS).

What was the team composition?

One team member mostly worked on the project.

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

Tinsa Soft’s work has helped us achieve an important milestone on time and on budget. The project is part of a larger development effort that is still ongoing.
