Introduce your business and what you do there.

I’m the owner of Speak!, a branding and marketing agency.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What challenge were you trying to address with On-Time Accounting?

We hired On-Time Accounting for day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting support. We’re a small business and I wear many hats, so I wanted their team to help with the daily responsibilities associated with accounting.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Initially, all of our accounting was in QuickBooks and Andrea (Owner) would come by once every two weeks to ensure everything was entered correctly and being taken care of. Eventually, we changed our business processes to QuickBooks online, so now she handles all of the functions as a controller so we no longer have to manage it internally. We’re going to be using her services for our taxes, as well.

I was referred to On-Time Accounting by a friend. I interviewed Andrea and she offered to help me with all of the support I needed.

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve invested around $50,000 in her services.

What is the status of this engagement?

We began working together around June 2020 and our engagement is ongoing.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

All of the CPA firms we’ve worked with over the years have said our books are immaculate and make their jobs much easier. Andrea was able to take a lot off my plate. Bringing her on for our tax needs will also save us a lot of time and money. She’s definitely earned our continued business.

How did On-Time Accounting perform from a project management standpoint?

Now, we meet monthly. We’re in communication every two weeks since she runs our payroll. Andrea is impeccable and fastidious. She’s on top of everything.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Having someone who is knowledgeable and understands how to set up and manage the books according to all regulations is great. She brings things to my attention about changing laws and requirements, so I’m confident in her skills to handle our needs as a business. Her attention to detail is highly appreciated. Maybe that’s true of all accountants, but I know things will get done correctly with her.

No, I can’t think of anything.
