I'm the owner and director of Green Cab App Ltd, a ride-hailing app for taxi transfers to and from UK airports.
What challenge were you trying to address with Tiger Systems Ltd?

Tiger Systems Ltd has initially conducted market research to identify industry trends and market solutions that we can bank on as we near our app's go-live. Our platform is unique in itself, but we've recognized our need for stronger marketing efforts. Based on their team's findings, we've tasked them with targeting certain areas to elevate our position in the market.
We've launched a public taxi event and asked their team to promote it through an animated video and other promotional deliverables such as pamphlets and graphic ads. We're planning to post the same video across our different online channels to boost our promotion efforts, and we're in the process of discussing new ad strategies to improve our existing landing page.

Their marketing and design efforts have rewarded us with eye-catching promotional materials, which have easily secured public affirmation during our initial event. We haven't received any negative feedback on their work, and that speaks volumes about their capacity to bring in buzz-worthy results to the table.

Responsive Email Templates
We design and develop a custom email template for email platforms, such as Campaign Monitor, Mail Chimp, GetResponse, Klaviyo, Salesforce and HubSpot. All our email templates are responsive by design so that they work great on any device.
We target minimum open rates of 20-30% to ensure we develop domain authority and the best email deliverability.

Bespoke Customer Onboarding Communication
We developed a number of email designs and templates for Amadeus to support the launch of their new SME platform. This included welcome messaging and a quick start guide and tips to onboard new customers and get them up running as quickly as possible.

Ecommerce marketing automation
After developing user personas and buyer journeys, we developed and implemented automation for Forbes & Lewis to support and enhance the shopping experience throughout the buyer journey. We designed email marketing triggers, funnels and flows and produced fully custom email template in Klaviyo.

I am a sole trader and my business provides a professional organising service. I assist people by helping them to organise, tidy and declutter their homes. I also assist with moving house and also house clearance.
For what projects/services did your company hire Tiger Systems Ltd?
As a newly developed business I needed a logo and branding for use on website, social media platforms, business cards etc. I had no real ideas of where to start or exactly what I wanted so asked Tiger to help me.
What were your goals for this project?
I wanted to ensure I created a brand that demonstrated who I am as an individual and as a company. I wanted to be able to bring consistency to my business and attract a certain customer.
How did you select Tiger Systems Ltd?
Tiger had done some work for a family member and I really liked the results. They are a small company with a lovely ethos and I really liked Jess the designer.
Describe the scope of their work in detail.
I had a conversation with Jess the designer who asked a lot of questions about my business. I was then given a client questionnaire to fill out in order to gather more information on my ethos, my business, me and my ideal client. I met with Jess who had then come up with some ideas and rough sketches with colours, logo ideas and so on. We discussed these in detail with me deciding what I liked and didn't like etc. Next Jess worked on the ideas further and then we had a meeting to look at three concepts she had then come up with. We discussed these in further detail before she went away to fine tune one concept. I was really pleased with the final design which only needed a tiny bit of tweaking.
What was the team composition?
I worked with the designer throughout the whole project.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
I have had positive feedback on my logo and branding from all of my clients, friends and family. I believe my business now looks more professional and attracts the right client.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
Communication was easy and as frequent as it needed to be. They were very responsive to any messages or feedback I had, and any queries or issues were quickly sorted.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
The professionalism and that the designer managed to capture exactly what my business is about. They seemed to understand what I needed and delivered it. I didn't know exactly what I wanted when I started but the designs couldn't be better.
Are there any areas for improvement?
The only improvement to be made to the process I think could be at the first meeting when I was was shown all the rough sketches and ideas, I think I needed a bit more 'hand-holding' at that stage as I really didn't know what I wanted or what was best for my company. It would have been nice to understand the design process a bit more then to see where ideas had come from. This however didn't affect the final outcome.

Tiger Systems helped me with my brand and logo design, social media marketing and campaigns, web design and development and the integration of software to aid my work. I have had invaluable advice regarding market research, business strategy and marketing which have helped me to get started quickly but also ensure I am efficient with my time and resources.
What were your goals for this project?
Set up a website which was able to take bookings and payments online, as this was something that was not available elsewhere within Cheltenham. I wanted help with branding and logo as I have no experience in this field. I was also looking for advice on business strategy and marketing and how to make the most of my social media channels.
How did you select this vendor?
They were recommended to me. I wanted to use someone local to me, someone friendly and that I could trust. I know of some of the work they have been doing with my local rugby club and have been really impressed with the website and business guidance they have provided to the club.
Describe the project and the services they provided in detail.
They designed and developed my website and have guided me in navigating it myself, so that going forward I am able to create and edit content independently. They implemented a booking widget on my website to allow customers to book and pay online whilst staying on my website. They provided marketing, business development and IT consultancy services to help me to move forwards and be more confident in the running of the business. They discussed my vision for the company with me and I felt that they really took the time to get to know my business and my objectives. This enabled them to create a brand and logo which fitted with the company values. They customised all aspects of the website to my brand.
What was the team composition?
The team is made up of 3 members of staff. There is a business and marketing consultant, a web developer and a graphic designer and I was able to discuss my business objectives with each of the team at the relevant points during the project. All were very approachable and knowledgeable, and the team as a whole work really well together. Nothing was ever too much and all of them were always happy to help and support me. The work they have done has been invaluable to my business.
Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?
The booking system that they have implemented on my website has meant that I have been able to take bookings and payments online, which has resulted in more customers for appointments. I was able to provide video consultations online during the COVID-19 pandemic due to the systems that they put in place for me, which I would not have been able to do otherwise. I have been able to make effective use of SEO and created a long term marketing strategy, including effective use of my social media pages.
How was project management arranged and how effective was it?
Project management was very impressive. The team communicated with me at all times on the stage they were at in the project via email and Slack, and informed me of the expected finish date. Work was completed in a timely manner and I felt the management of the project was very effective and efficient.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
This company had a genuine passion for the success of my business and this was obvious from day one. Between them, they have such a vast amount of knowledge and experience and they were always very forthcoming with information and advice for me. Communication was always brilliant and I was always kept informed about the progress of the project.
Are there any areas for improvement?
There is very little they can do to improve. Overall I have been extremely impressed with every aspect of the project we have been working on.

We met in person and spend 3-4hrs talking and developing a plan for the next 3 months. James got a good understanding of the brands past and present history and then came up with ideas to implement over the coming months. We decided on a plan, agreed and Tiger systems implemented it.

Since beginning our work with Tiger we have gone from 5% return from email marketing to 17% and hope to push through to above 20%.

We used Tiger to host, design and implement a web based solution for a Wedding event in January.
What were your goals for this project?
The primary goal was for a site to be designed and built in a very short time frame and then communicated to all relevant parties prior to the event.
How did you select this vendor?
We were recommended their services by numerous mutual contacts.
Describe the project and the services they provided in detail.
The project had a very short time frame due to factors outside of our control. We presented the brief to them in early December with a clear timeline and general design rationale. From this they determined a schedule for us with key milestiones of when we had to make certain decisions by.
Their focus on planning was very helpful later on. Work on design elements commenced from there with numerous design options being presented to us before arriving on our final layout before the new year.
Tiger provided all graphic and backend technical support throughout the project and were very flexible in dealing with our last minute changes and advising where certain changes would push us over our deadline. The final site was live on schedule and the event was a great success with much postive feedback from our attendees.
What was the team composition?
Our primary contact was James who lead the planning and helped us focus our decision making. He was instrumental in allowing us to complete the project on time with his technical guidance throughout proving invaluable.
Working closely with him were an in-house graphic designer (Jess) and technical lead (Mike) who ensured any changes we requested were handled quickly.
Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?
As this was a one-off project for us we won't see any direct impacts from this particular venture but we certainly now have a valuable supplier in our contacts that we can use on future work. By using Tiger Systems, we will be able to offer similar services with confidence in the future to any of our other clients.
How was project management arranged and how effective was it?
James was our primary contact from the start and as such, fulfilled the role of the project manager. Having a single point of contact who was also able to guide us from a technical and logistical viewpoint was invaluable.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
The area that struck us most was the organisation and positive energy with which the company undertook our project. All changes, no matter how last minute, were dealt with with a smile and at no point did we feel we were a burden. Given the short time scale and lack of concise brief this quality can not be rated highly enough.
Are there any areas for improvement?
Based on this project I cannot rate them highly enough. No aspect of the journey felt lacking so it is hard to add any constructive criticism from our experience.

We’re a property company located in the United Kingdom. I own and operate the company, working mostly on the marketing end of the spectrum.

We had an existing customer database supplier that allowed our email systems to function securely. But, we wanted to streamline the process and reduce the cost. Additionally, it was important for us to boost the quality of service that we could provide to our customers.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Over the course of the project, they transferred our existing customer data over to a new system and conducted the setup process. They also manage the email program and system for us, enabling us to send about 1.5 million emails each year.
The team advises on and handles the database. In addition, they also focus on email strategy and planning to create templates that people will open and interact with. All in all, they put together and actively monitor our email marketing system.

What is the status of this engagement?
We first started working together in 2017. The collaboration is ongoing currently.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Our open rates on emails have increased along with the robustness of our database. Costs have also gone down, making our work with them about 15%–20% cheaper than it was working with previous agencies. It’s been much more cost-effective this way. Of course, they’re able to send more well-tested emails than we could before.
How did Tiger Systems Ltd perform from a project management standpoint?
James speaks with us fairly regularly over email. I speak with them every few weeks. When we have active projects, we meet more often and more in-depth. We also have reviews quarterly.
There, they present us with stats on how the email marketing system is performing, indicating areas for improvement. That’s been very helpful. They’re quite responsive to messages, quickly coming back with detailed answers.
What did you find most impressive about them?
The level of customer service they provide distinguishes them. They’re easy to speak to and can clearly explain complex concepts within the database. No problem is too small or large with their team.
Are there any areas they could improve?
I can’t think of anything because we’re very happy with them.

Don’t be afraid to ask questions because they’re happy to explain technical concepts. That kind of authentic communication will help you get the details you need to be most successful.

I send the team data capture forms from customers in the centre and all of this is then input to my database system as well as users of our wifi system. I then write a newsletter, in an easy-to-use system, and the team send it out to our database. I recieve plenty of details back including how many people opened the newsletter and clicked on links which all goes towards my reports.

I work with James Wilson who is an amazing part of the team. He is always there when I need him and nothing is ever too much for him.

Customers are well aware of Castlegate and look forward to receving a monthly e-shot with all the latest news and events. We always hit our opening and click-through targets.
