I wanted something custom at first, something that no longer exists on the market to stand out. Thanks to them, we found the best solution and the best delivery time. With a team of designers we were able to view the website before the code behind it was implemented and we were able to make any changes we wanted.

We wanted to look for a company that has some experience, they have been on the market since 2006 and after viewing the portfolio of websites created, we knew that we had chosen the right company. We also met the employees through various meetings and discussions with them to be on the topic of the project stage.

We had a kick-off meeting to discuss our goals and objectives. From there, the team delivered mock-ups and wireframes for our site. After a few iterations, their team designed and developed an informational WordPress site. They updated the content to reflect our company's services and created a landing page with a contact form.

Our traffic increased with 35% and income increase with 10% every mounth.

Margeledelicioase.ro is a Romanian online store with 10 years of experience on the beads and beads accessories market. The store is owned/ managed by me thru a “intreprindere individuala”.

THECON has been contracted to update our old site (built on an old customized platform – FSHOP5) and to move to Prestashop (including SEO and mobile user friendly interface).

I have made a short list of 5 companies (based on their previous portfolio – including the initial web designer company) and ask for bids. 4 responded and based on price and technical expertise THECON was selected.

A project manager has been nominated from the contractor and a first meeting has been done to recap the requirements from the bid scope. Invison has been used to develop the visual concept of the site and after freezing customization, module selection and migration to prestashop has been done.

Virtual meetings were held for the main milestones (and severai iteration up to the final form) and by the end a completion report has been issued. Training workshops and web tutorials were also held/ made by the contractor.

They allocate one project manager, one contract manager, one web designer and at about 3 developers (one dedicated for the new/ customized modules not available in prestashop).

Number of visitors has been increased (after one year) in average of 40%, new visitors also and the sales grow by aprox 20%.

Regular meetings has been held with all the team and the regular daily discussion has been done thru their PM. For debates regarding the scope their contract manager was also involved. Invision was used for developing the visual part of the site.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The team was friendly and involved in the project to find the best option. They were able to develop customized modules to be included into our Prestashop site and they are responsive to our questions. Very open to all our ideas.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

They were too optimistic in terms of project duration but this was not an issues for me. I estimate from the beginning that will take longer than initially estimated (since the quality was important not the speed).

I needed someone to design and design a website.

THECON took over the project for a different vendor. First, I showed the team how I was using an existing site to organize our advertising efforts. Then, I explained that I wanted something simpler. The website was exactly what I wanted, and it never crashed. It was extremely helpful during COVID-19 when I began targeting international students. The THECON team worked quickly and did a good job.

THECON did very well. We communicated via phone and video calls, and they were highly responsive.

They gave me exactly what I asked for at a reasonable price. Comparatively, I’ve not had such a great experience with other providers.

We are a B2B company, that sells professional equipments for restaurants, food retail, meat and dairy factory, etc. and we also have an online shop.

We actually worked with THECON for several projects, but the main one so far was our online shop for HORECA equipment, which we changed it twice, and each time we chose them because we knew that we can have a modern and clean e-shop, without any errors, and with fast service for whatever problems may occur.

Our online shop uses Prestashop (backend - php, frontend - html&CSS) and we use many kind of modules for different needs (that uses our clients and also our staff). The steps were Design, Development and Testing based on our huge brief.

Pages are easier to navigate, design is more appreciated by our visitors, and we can use more modules than before, that help automate our daily work.

Their project manager talked to us as many times I needed, and because we were in a very big hurry, I disscused some things one to one with one of the developement member which helped fasten everything. Anyway, this was an exception which we needed and wese very welcomed.

They are very patient with every crazy thing I needed, they respond quickly and also solve things quickly.

The website was done fast, with a new design and an easy access theme. This made it very easy for our buyers to check our products and for us to manage the stocks, etc.

The Account Manager was available each time we needed an information or wanted to insert some new features or change some old ones. She was helping us with everything and kept the connection between us and the developers team.

The transparency and they're fast pace of working, for this project and the old ones and they always respect they're deadlines.

On every project we complete with they're help, even if we encounter some minor problems after the launch the dev-team was just a call away and ready to fix it.

The whole online shop they built for me is custom-made. We've started by deciding the structure and style of the online shop. I wanted a minimalist, clean and simple design with a modern layout. I didn't go for a standard theme as I wanted specific details to be implemented. After deciding on the layout and the design of the shop, the implementing stage started. We communicated almost daily in order to complete the project as I wanted to.

They were really patient, helpful, and ready to make the right adjustments to make the shop as I wanted to. After the implementing stage ended, the final stage was about finding and fixing bugs in order that the shop function at full potential. The online shop ended up in being perfect - minimalist with a twist, clean and simple - highly compatible to the brand's identity.

The Thecon team succeeded in implementing a design which looks good but most importantly is very user-friendly. Clients are pleased with the layout, it is very easy for them to view our products. The shop looks very professional.

I was communicating easily with the customer account manager and also the developers. We communicated by WhatsApp and by e-mail. I was usually doing lists with things that I wanted to be changed or fixed, and they helped me do it in no time.
