They were asked to design and development a data annotation app end to end for computer vision training data labeling use cases. The UI must be friendly and simple on mobile phones and must have a leader board gamification aspect. Payment must be integrated on the app itself and all this should be launched and tested. The project also had a admin backend for vendors that was integrated to the mobile app processes.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They were eager to learn, correct their mistakes and were always trying to impress and deliver a quality version. They went above and beyond in desiging a new logo for our MVP even when that was not in the original agreement. They valued the quality of the work they were trying to deliver. Everyone communicated on time and with great respect.

If looking for a budget app development and deployment provider, while being hands off to focus on other things, they are the best. They do quality service on a budget and are very professional about it. I have recommended them to few other startup founders

Are there any areas for improvement or something Tezeract could have done differently?

Frequent switching of team members should be reduced. I think thats because they were a small team and had to keep switching senior members to critical areas of new projects, but still I think that should be reduced. Client should be able to work with same team members.

The work involved taking data from site A, transforming it and updating data elements that had changed, providing event driven emails to keep various parties informed of progress, in particular what data elements have been deleted, added, and/or updated. The deliverables were a codebase on github, with an event driven system for notifying participants by email of any changes in the system.

I’m the CEO and founder of Konnect, a mobile app for making local friends.

What challenge were you trying to address with Tezeract?

We needed help with building our AI recommendation engine.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

We told Tezeract what we were looking for, and they confirmed that they could build it. After that, we created a plan together, defining the requirements and how long it was going to take. From there, they started with the development process, building the AI recommendation engine for our mobile app from scratch.

Tezeract built an admin panel on the backend, which served as a dashboard, and did some UI/UX design work on the backend admin panel and the frontend of the AI recommendation engine. They built everything using Flask.

We have certain criteria that we use for recommending friends. We have a huge database and the AI engine looks through the entire database and determines who is the most relevant person, the second most relevant person, and so on. It shows people in order of relevance, from most to least relevant.

Moreover, Tezeract is going to be helping us build a picture verification feature so that when users sign up, we can verify their picture to make sure it's really them. They’re also going to build an AI ID verification capability, which is going to check the user’s ID and match the name on their profile to make sure it’s truly them.

Tezeract is providing us with maintenance support as well.

Our main point of contact is Iqra (Technical Project Manager), who oversees our entire project. We work with Fizahat (AI Software Engineer) as well, who was one of the main people in charge of building the AI engine. I also worked with Abdul (CEO); he always checks in to see how things are going.

I’m the founder and CEO of VOLTOX, one of the first global providers of smile and face ID for e-commerce. Tezeract has built everything from scratch. They’ve done AI, OCR, and antispoofing; the team has worked on login management with face, payments, and SaaS solutions. We have nine platforms, and Tezeract has done the product design and the user admin, the client admin, and the super admin.

We work with five teammates, including the CTO, project manager, AI experts, and developers.

I found them on LinkedIn and Upwork. They specialized in AI technology and were experts in the field. Additionally, I got references from their clients and proofs of concept.

We pay around $5,000 per month, so we’ve spent approximately $40,000 so far.

We started working with them in September 2022, and it’s an ongoing partnership.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We now face proof of concept with global partners, banks, retailers, and large private companies. Moreover, we’re very satisfied with the quality of the work. We used another team before Tezeract, but they didn’t do a good job. Tezeract took over the project, and they’ve done an excellent job.

How did Tezeract perform from a project management standpoint?

Project management has been fantastic. The project manager is very professional and responsive. She takes our instructions and implements them quickly; all tasks are completed within a week.

We work using Slack and Trello to follow the progress there.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I love their teamwork and communication. Tezeract is always friendly and motivated, which has given us a great journey and motivation. Overall, we love that they’re experts in what we need.

After doing detailed research we shortlisted 3 vendors who were providing the service we wanted among which we picked Tezeract because their expertise matched our use case and they had an amazing portfolio.

We wanted a file management system for multiple organizations. We provided them with the UI theme we had for Alisia, They understood the whole project workflow and divided it into different development stages. They built a system that had a hierarchy of admin, users, files, and folders implemented with an OCR detection and search functionality. The files could also be downloaded to the device.

Firstly, Tezeract founders were our main source of contact but then their project manager, development team lead, and the development team collaborated with us to provide the best results.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

They developed a file management app that contains OCR detection and Search functionality which is very helpful and unique. Apart from that the application also had a super admin app that made it super easy to supervise all the data & events happening.

We had 2 weekly catchups to discuss each sprint. One at the start up the week to discuss the results of the last sprint and one on friday to discuss any problems we faced when testing the solution.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

We were most impressed by the fact that their team never passes by the deadlines and always delivered the deliverables on time. They collaborated with us at different stages of product development and were ready to accept the changes we required in our application

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

The only area of improvement would be on the testing side of things. We found a number of bugs right after some features had been tested by the team.

We needed a development team to execute our sports AI platform concept; we wanted a team that could take high-level direction from us while developing the product.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Tezeract has worked on taking my high-level concept to full implementation. We’ve done several iterations and reviews along the way. Our team does the UI definition, while their team handles the implementation. The project involves an app, a UI design, and some video AI functionality. The product is a mobile app with a cloud-based platform available for Android and iOS devices. It’s built on AWS, and we’ve used various programming languages to build it, such as React Native. For the database, we use MongoDB, among others.

We’ve worked with 5–7 people, including developers and graphic designers.

We found Tezeract on Upwork. Initially, we gave them small test projects to see how our engagement would go. Our team liked what we saw, so we continued to expand the relationship.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

So far, our app is responsive and its features are working properly. We haven’t implemented our full-feature set yet, and we’re continuing to gather feedback from end users. These users have been happy with our product; they get value out of it. 

This shows that our solution and platform are good, and the app quality is sufficient. We’ve experienced issues along the way — we’ve had buggy releases — but we’ve only had to send reports to solve such issues. 

How did Tezeract perform from a project management standpoint?

Tezeract’s project management is great. We’ve had some ups, downs, and delays, but they deliver on time. Our main communication channel is Slack. We also have different channels and rooms where we can talk about issues and document them. Moreover, the Tezeract team has a bug-tracking tool that looks like an agile dashboard.

Their willingness to take any problem, break it down, and get through it is impressive. They communicate well with me, and we’ve built up trust over the past year.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate success;

• Volume of report creation. Previously I was only able to create one report per month. Now, I can make 10. With future improvements, this number will hopefully increase to the 100's.  
• Accuracy of LLM outputs. From initial prompting, the LLM's output was correct about 50% of the time. This has increased now to closer to 90% accuracy with refinements and training.

Their project management style has been very responsive. I receive daily communication from the team and have a weekly online call with them. 
How they prioritise their work is communicated clearly so that we are always on the same page. 
They respond to my needs in a timely manner. I also appreciate their patience. I am not an expert in LLM's or machine learning and I have lots of questions. They are happy to answer them and help educate me. It has been a great experience so far :)

Their experience in a vast array of areas was impressive.
When I started, I didn't realise how many specialised skillsets were required to complete the project. Automation, machine learning, AI, prompt engineering, design, hosting, database management, and the list goes on. Fortunately Tezeract are able to provide all services to a high standard in house which has made life significantly easier. This is not something that I was able to find from other providers.
