For what projects/services did your company hire Ten Twentyseven?
We intend to create an self-service free educational offering to all consumers looking to explore refinancing or starting a new mortgage for their home or second home, across a wide range of topics that would be for SEO and for credibility with our customer funnel.
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
We interviewed 4 other vendors, all ranging in size and capabilities, from pure content to adjunct marketing services. We selected 1027 for their outstanding work in our industry, financial services/mortgage firms, their value proposition in terms of dedicated staff and cost, as well as their bedside manner
Describe the project in detail and walk through the stages of the project.
Signed an MSA, then a full SOW, and MNDA. then kick off meeting with my team/their team. after Keyword research, they created a content calendar with Trello, and we iterated the content priorities and the writing started to take shape. After content orders, article production (iterative), then SEO Grammar edits, then compliance review, drafts/redrafts for final approval, image incorporation, publish on staging, production, reporting and SEO backlink collaboration.

4 I think. The founder lindsey, then her editor and two writers. They were a joy to work with.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
It's still early - pre-production, but we are so pleased with the quality of the content, the ease of working with them, and the absolute monster amount of work they did in a relatively short period of time.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
high performance. They kept themselves and our team accountable via weekly meetings and Trello boards.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
Everything documented and on time, all transparent, no b.s. They make terrific strategic recommendations that we incorporate into the content.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
Only weakness was at times we needed a basis or source for research in the articles, but that was easily resolved.

I’m the EVP of revenue for a company that runs a finance website. I oversee many of our revenue-driving initiatives.
What challenge were you trying to address with Ten Twentyseven?
We work with Ten Twentyseven on generating affiliate revenue by publishing content.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Ten Twentyseven helps with everything from strategy through execution. This includes project management and coordination. They also consult on and execute on- and off-site SEO. This work includes keyword research. They do almost all of the work pertaining to organic search, but they consult me for guidance on it.
What is the team composition?
I work with three different people: their SEO leader, an editor, and a writer.
How did you come to work with Ten Twentyseven?
I got a very positive referral from a co-worker who knew them.
How much have you invested with them?
We have spent somewhere between $100,000–$200,000.

So far, the metrics are very positive. They're very easy to work with, and they provide good guidance.
How did Ten Twentyseven perform from a project management standpoint?
They perform very well. We use Asana and Trello. Ten Twentyseven’s team is very responsive and they keep a detailed agenda of everything that they are doing. They also schedule weekly meetings with us to make sure that we understand everything that is going on.

They put a lot of care into their work — the results are great.

They could have more availability. We want them to do more projects with us, but they have a lot of other clients that they're working with.

Trust them — they have a very good idea of what they're doing, so let them make more decisions.

I was having trouble getting customers' attention from my competitors. After Ten Twentyseven created a eye catching website that allowed potential customers to input information I began to see actual results. My goal was to start with clicks on my website and turn them into actual business.
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
Searched the web for web developers with lower up front costs near me. My local company supports other local companies.

I explained in email what I was looking for in terms of a website. My services offered through my company had changed during this time so they made adjustments to make it look more professional. We communicated over the phone and via email.

A project manager, whom I believed to be the owner of the company handled my order.
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
The website allowed me to correlate my advertising pushes and traffic to my website. Being a smaller company i do not have a huge budget to work with. The website has increased business for me 50%.

We used email, phone, and in person meetings. I was told it would take a week but was done in two days.

I was impressed with their speed and the quality of the product I received.

I’m the director of sales at a logistics company.
What challenge were you trying to address with Ten Twentyseven?
Originally, we worked with Ten Twentyseven as a content provider but since then we have extended the collaboration to various projects.
What was the scope of their involvement?
We started working with Ten Twentyseven when we had some internal turnover, and our internal resources couldn't complete objectives. Even though Thomas’s (Founder) company is mainly focused on content creation, he spearheaded the development of our project and worked closely with our internal team until its completion.
Currently, we work with Ten Twentyseven on web development, content creation, keyword research, and content strategy. They’ve set up an ecosystem to improve our SEO and exposure.
They specialize in content and anything from development, strategy, creation, and keyword research.

My main point of contact is Thomas.
How did you come to work with Ten Twentyseven?
Thomas is in my network; I knew him from an employment history a few years back. I gave him a call, and we started from there.

We have invested somewhere within the $30,000–$50,000 range.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working together in January 2021, and it’s an ongoing collaboration.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
After the first project ended, our corporation didn’t understand the value that Thomas and his team brought to the company, so they searched for a different supplier of SEO. In the end, no one made us feel as comfortable as Thomas did with his understanding of how to monetize traffic and leverage keyword research, so they extended the scope of his contract.
His current contract is probably three times the size of his original one. After working with Ten Twentyseven, it’s pretty clear that they understand and know how to scale content.
How did Ten Twentyseven perform from a project management standpoint?
We communicate through email, Google Hangouts, and Slack. Ten Twentyseven has exceeded expectations for project management of the different projects.
What did you find most impressive about them?
I’m impressed by his willingness to find a price point that works for our team — we are able to negotiate with a revenue share model and a flat fee. It shows that he is willing to put up his own resources and bet on his team to perform by taking less of a retainer and getting more on himself.
Our company has five different revenue lines, and some of them don’t communicate with each other. However, Thomas is very open and willing to communicate with other teams in providing help or insight that goes above and beyond his contractual work. He helps other development teams in order to move the product forward.
Are there any areas they could improve?
I haven’t found any negative things that they do. They weren't in the transportation industry, so they educated themselves on it in order to create content and it has been a great experience.
Any advice for potential customers?
They are technical, and they understand the SEO world better than most people. Sometimes, you might need to ask them to speak in terms that a business owner would understand.
Although the project is still in pre-production, the client is happy with Ten Twentyseven's work. They kept themselves accountable via weekly meetings and Trello boards. Moreover, everything has been documented on time.
