The solution needed to utilize five functions aimed at improved cybersecurity on Windows computers.

Temy first developed an Android application using UX designs that we provided in advance. They then built the cloud backend system and Windows agents that can enable and disable specific cybersecurity functionalities on a machine as needed. The cloud system interacts with the app and manages each Windows agent installed on a desktop.

We worked with a team leader, a backend developer, a mobile app developer, and a Windows developer.

Thanks to Temy’s work, we could demonstrate our POC to investors with great success.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

We had one point of contact—our team leader—who took care of our every need. However, we could also reach out to individual team members directly. This approach was helpful and productive throughout the process.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Temy had a wide skillset; their expertise included backends, mobile apps, cybersecurity, and Windows systems. The team was also highly personable and enjoyable to work with.

Are there any areas for improvement?

They could have had clearer tracking of our budget and expenses.

Our objective was to find resources who were familiar in a range of coding languages. So far, they’ve worked on building security/encryption SDKs and products that utilize our SDKs. They’ve also supported our customers, offering consultations to help build products.

For each assignment, Temy’s resources provide key support in all parts of the project lifecycle. This includes handling design, documentation, and discussion of new work; breaking the work into features, tasks, and sprints to give accurate estimates; updating task progress on state, time entry, and update notes; developing unit tests to provide as much coverage as possible; and code reviews.

What was the team composition?

At any given time, the development staff ranges from 5–15 resources.

Because SDK development is central to our company, Temy has been a critical partner. Both the product and expertise gained through development have made us who we are.

We handled the project management in-house using an agile methodology, and Temy’s staff operated as another member of the team.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

I’m impressed by their communication skills, work ethic, and investment in our end goals. Even though they’re nine hours ahead of us, they’re willing to change their work schedule to better match our hours.

Temy has augmented a few of our R&D teams. Starting as a proof of concept (POC) project in late 2017, Temy provided us with a data scientist, a DevOps specialist, and a programmer. They trained and deployed a mobile UI QA engineer for our iOS team. The backend engineer works on our data team while another engineer assists our frontend web team with web applications. The team delivered the first release in early 2018. We then added resources to our local data team under our head of data and technologies.

Our engagement with Temy is an extended engineering model; we have specific engineers working as equal members with our local teams.

Temy is a natural partner because they share our values. They’ve sourced and hired great engineers quickly. Temy sets a high standard not only engineering professionalism and quality, but also for personality and team building.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

We manage the project ourselves, and cooperate with Temy based on engineering extension model. All Temy engineers report directly to their Reali Team leaders in Tel-Aviv. We consider them first-class teammates. That said, Temy is transparent and demonstrates a high level of management, HR, and reporting skills. The capably handle difficult situations around employee retention and hiring campaigns. They alert us to potential problems and suggest alternatives wherever possible.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Temy’s personable service and attitude distinguish them. They invest considerable time and effort to work with customers hand-in-hand. We receive significant personal attention from their team.

We would love to have more professional engineers in other verticals, but some positions are more difficult to fill.
